It came out on Tuesday. A friend of mine bought it for her nephew, and I watched part of it. I hadn't played FF7 in a long time, is this movie supposed to be a sequel to the story in the game? Or just different stand-alone story with the same characters and setting? It looked pretty nice, I'm not sure that you'd call what they did with the computers anime though. Forgive my ignorance of the terminology. |

It's supposed to be what happens after FF7...and man is it *FUCKING BORING*. There are *two*(2, T-W-O) decent action scenes in the entire movie...the rest is horribly bad dubbing and unbelievably boring story. As for what they did, it's just CG...but *Really* good CG. ;) I'm glad I downloaded, fell asleep through this one, then deleted it...had I of paid money I'd of cried. ;) Bel |

Ofcourse you'd be bored, you never played the game, so you'd know zip! It'd be kinda like me watching Star Wars Episode 3, and bein' like "This is pointless! Why is this guy here?" y'know, even though I've never seen 1..2...or the 4 5 or 6...lol. |

I watched Star Wars Episode three and had those very same emotions. I also had those feelings during Episode 2. And episode 1. I liked 4 5 and 6 though. Maybe it's because they didn't suck? As for Advent children, I'm not really at all interested in seeing it, despite the fact that I like FF7 and consider it one of my favorite PS1 RPGs (it's #5 on my list). |

I don't know...the story was just so slow, even if I had played through FF7 I think I'd of been extremely bored with the movie. On the other hand, I do admire it for the unbelievably good job they did with the rendering and whatnot(kind of like how I feel about FF: SW). Bel |

But Ben, Rachael Leigh Cook was a voice actor in the dub, Tifa I think and I know how much you love her! |
