Watched MI: III at the theatre last night, in digital projection. It was fucking amazing. It's not quite HD or anything, but it is *fucking* close. Just watching the previews I was knocked back at the resolution...but once we finally got to the film, where we had some steady and long camera shots I was just amazed. Right now, unfortunately, there are only around 150 theatres that are doing DLP...and only two movies showing in it(right now)...but more are on the way, and more theatres will start getting it. X-Men 3 is the next film to be using it. Even though MI: III sucked, you have a choice between it and Scary Movie 4(right now)...and though that'll probably suck too...trust me, with that amazing picture, you probably won't notice that much. ;) Bel |
