Gads, who knew that the PS3 was outdated and beat by a console from 1993. If only the 3DO had lasted fifteen years we all would have seen it for the 3D mule it was.

The best part has to be when he flips the car around and you can see the track rendering ending, what, 2 feet from the back of your car? Seems like you're outrunning
"The Nothing" from NeverEnding Story or some shit. ;)

The most disappointing thing, I think, was the fact that it's called "PowerSlide", but it's *NOT* based off the PC game of the same name. If you get a chance, try to download that for the PC, it's pretty rockin. I bought it a long while back...

actually DiRT is one of the few PS3 games that looks like it would be right up my alley. The Colin McRae Rally games were my Sega Rally during those long years without sequels.

DiRT seemed fine to me when I played it. It was sort of a mix between simulation and arcade style that felt good, unlike the constant instant replays of Motorstorm.

codemasters knows how to make racing games.

Which is why although I'm sad Sega Racing Studio got sold off, I'm happy that it was Codemasters that bought them.
