Man, the forums have been rockin' lately! We've had quite a few people on the board at the same time, not too mention craploads of "guests". The posts are way, way up, this is just awesome! Thanks to everyone who has stuck around, and continues to stop by! :) Bel |

Adding to the above I wanted say a few things... 1. I'm sorry I haven't been posting a lot lately, just don't seem to have the energy for it. Usually I just wait and wait and wait, then when there's a shitload of posts I've been meaning to reply to, I do them all at once. If you've posted something and I haven't gotten to it, I haven't forgotten and am not blatantly ignoring you, promise. :) On the other hand, it's nice to show up the forum and see so many different names across the various sections(I'm so used to just seeing my name on virtually all of them). That brings me to... 2. Along those same lines, in addition to the joy of seeing various names across the sections, I am digging the posts lately. Ben with his thoughts on various Xbox titles(it's like being back in AGVX, back in the day), Drkstlkr with his thoughts on the latest gaming titles(I still go back and read them one I've finally played the games mentioned), David J with his PC upgrades(I live vicariously through those as I have not the money, nor the effort to actually upgrade my own PC), Vampyre Mike with the always-enjoyable Sega CD chat(great job on scoring BattleTech!), lspear and his constantly growing videogame library, documented for all to see(and love!), LoneCrusader showing up to help us all out of PC Hell, with his always-knowledgeable advice, and, of course, Sheath: Educating/Entertaining us all fun comparisons, how-to guides, Sega experiences and more. Good stuff, guys, I am absolutely loving it. Keep it up! Bel PS: If I have forgotten anyone, I apologize. :) |

No worries man. I've always considered this group under the same rules as usenet or any other forum. The moderator never replies to every thread, only the original poster is responsible for that. |

Think there's only about 4 or 5 of us that post at all any more. Since I grew up without most of the consoles the rest of you talk about, I don't have much to contribute to the discussions, outside of PC gaming and PC related questions. I did get a 360 a while back, but I rarely play games on it, and I don't rent or buy new games, I pretty much wait until something cool you guys discussed a year or two ago comes down to $5-10 used. I only have a silver account on XBox Live. As a result, the politics of the industry don't affect me much, as I'm primarily a bottom feeder in the console market. I guess if the megacorps do really ruin console gaming, I will notice the effects a couple of years after the rest of you. I do read what the rest of you post, but feel like I have little to contribute to the discussion. Going through the other topics on the forums, its almost as if none of us go out to see new movies any more, there hasn't been any TV show discussion. Anyway, guess I felt I should say something to let you know I'm still here to answer your PC related questions if and when they come up. Edited by LoneCrusader, Jun 2 2010, 11:02 AM.

Besides the stuff I've been playing recently, I'm just waiting for E3. There's nothing much more than that. I got a job as an inventory taker, but that's about it. |

It sound's to me then, that the board's focus on games from previous generations, and 360/Wii games, is not satisfying even to the board's members. While I am very disappointed at this, I have to acknowledge the fact that virtually everybody has moved on to something else. I'm willing to stay in the past for while though, if anything I hope to correct the pseudo-histories created by pundits. |
