...to get you to use IE and their shitty "Windows Live Search" engine: http://www.getsearchperks.com Ok, so if you sign up(again, you are *forced* to use IE) you can earn points to buy stuff(up to 25 a day). You get 500 just for signing up. You can use these points to buy stuff: http://www.getsearchperks.com/Prizes.aspx?campaignid=perks I am going to do it just so I can get a free 360 game, or controller(probably a controller as they are *fucking* expensive, and show no signs of ever coming down...ever). Anyway, it's free "virtual" money...with real prizes, you guys may want to look in to it. Just grit your teeth and bare it(hell, I'm going to need a mouth guard to use IE) each day for 25 searchs...then go back to the excellence that is Firefox...;) I guess I could use this time with IE to look over WAG and make sure it's looking alright in it...I *never* open IE(unless it's to use MS Update), so I never test WAG with it. God only knows what I'll find... NOTE: I HIGHLY recommend you don't go to any sites that are even remotely shady, as they are ALL looking for you to come waltzing in with IE, so they can pummel you with ActiveX spyware/trojans/viruses. Bel PS: Looks like I'm not the only one who finds this new "promotion" embarrassing: http://news.cnet.com/8301-10805_3-10056670...ag=2547-1_3-0-5 |

Added info: If you search for something, and you've either spelled it wrong, or the engine thinks you have, click on the "did you mean..." link and it counts as another search! Bel |

You can only do 25 a day... so you kinda have to do this for 120 days! |

Yeah, but in the end you could end up with a free wireless controller and some other stuff! Even better, the controller they offer is the wireless one for Windows XP! That means that not only wil it work on the 360, but it will work on your PC as well, and comes with the $20 dongle it takes to use it on your PC! I've also found out that you can start clicking on the "Related Searches" area on the side and they count as well! I just went through all 25 of my searches today in less than *2* minutes. Right after that, I kill IE until tomorrow(no need to use that shitty, shitty browser unless MS is paying me to). ;) Bel |

http://swagbucks.com/refer/TellulaBlue Check it out, here's another one trying to beat Google by offering prices. Thing is, check out some of the prizes! http://swagbucks.com/?cmd=sb-list&id=158 Genesis, Game Gear, even fucking Jaguar games! Kind of makes me want to attempt it... The above code is just from Pleasure Kitty, you can use it if you want(not sure if she gets anything out of it) or just sign up on your own(if you're going to try for it). One thing I will warn you about: Virtually every link you get from Swag is a "sponsored link", which means you can't find shit. Just use it for the points, once you've maxed out your daily amount, switch it back to Google(that's what I did with the above-mentioned MS Live Search rewards). Might be good for a Genesis game or two... Bel |
