Your post gave me an idea(btw, great music!), why don't we post our favorite videogame BGM remixes? They don't have to be from Overclocked Remix, but as it's the largest resource for that stuff, I thought I'd throw it in the subject header. Here are a few of mine: Music of Funk - From Batman(NES) http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00222/ Wind Shear - From Mega Man 2(NES) http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00076/ Belmont Lounge - From Castlevania(NES) http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01066/ Eternal Abyss - From Ecco the Dolphin(SCD) http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01261/ Drift - Ecco: The Tides of Time(SCD) http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01013/ BubbleMan (wantstoget)Funked Up - From Mega Man 2(NES) http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00353/ BubbleMan Electron - From Mega Man 2(NES) http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00143/ I'd give my left nut for a remix of Hard Man's theme from MM3... http://www.ocremix.org/song/id/7/ Had a hankerin' for some "Marble Zone" music from Sonic the Hedgehog. An all-time favorite of mine, I love the sort of mysterious quality the music has...goes perfectly with the underground level. All five of these remixes are excellent...I highly recommend them! Bel |

I think I've heard enough Sonic remixes as well. Where's 'Devine Device' for MUSHA? Or how about something from Forgotten Worlds? |

It's odd how some games are just blatantly snubbed over at OCR...but I've found, with remixes of Mega Man's "Hard Man" theme, if you just type in "{whatever game}, music, remix" in to Google you'll find all sorts of stuff(ie: OCR isn't the only place on the net for VGM remixes). Bel |

I almost forgot about this from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Eternal Champions gets love here. Eternal-Instrumental Eternal-With lyrics (NSFW) I liked this one better as an instrumental, but I thought it was cool that a music group under a label used a song from a video game. |

Nothing says hardcore "gangsta" like basing a rap's melody off a Sega Genesis game. ;) Thought I'd mention that OCR has put out a full album based on FFIV's soundtrack. Went ahead and downloaded it, but haven't listed to it just yet. I was shocked to find that this was their *14th* album, and took a look at what else they had done: http://www.ocremix.org/albums/ Found some stuff for Sonic, Doom, DKC and more! Downloaded about 5 or 6 of them! All torrent-based, so it comes down relatively quickly. Just thought I'd mention it... Bel |

That FFIV remix is actually pretty good. I'm enjoying it, of course that is easily one of my top five favorite soundtracks anyway. |
