Ever since getting the 360, I've done almost nothing but using it as a video player. Here's some stuff I've been streaming to it... DoomsDay - Honestly, I liked this one. It had some issues, but overall it was pretty hip. The lead character used to be the official Lara Croft model for a few years. The Mummy: Dragon Emperor - I knew it was going to happen, especially after hearing that it wasn't going to be done by Sommers and two of the cast refused to come back...and then the trailers pretty much confirmed it, but being a fan I had to try. I made it to the point where they wake Jet Li up...and turned it off. It was horrible. I kept getting horrible flashbacks from Indy 4 and Blade 3...I just couldn't allow myself to watch the rest of Mummy 3, and have that stain the series like the previously-mentioned titles did. Role Models - Good stuff. If you're not in to the whole 40 Year Old Virgin/Knocked Up-style of comedy, don't bother, but if you liked those two then rent this one when it hits DVD! "Fuck you Miss Daisy!" Wanted - Not as good as I thought it'd be, but it was still a lot of fun. That ending was wild. If you haven't seen this director's other works, Nightwatch to be specific, give it a shot. Step Brothers - Hopelessly stupid, but if you like Will or John you'll love this one. Semi-Pro - I don't know why people didn't like this one. I mean, sure, it's Will Ferrel playing Will Ferrel, but that in and of itself is great! Hancock - A lot different than the trailer makes itself out to be, but it's still a solid film. Charlize was bad-ass(as always). John Adams - The 7 part mini-series from HBO about our second president. If you haven't seen this, get your ass in gear and grab it! Though I don't know how much is based on real events(past the big ones), it's just fascinating to sit there watching them setting up the US government, and then mentioning all the ways it could go wrong...and knowing that all those things they mention, have gone wrong. The Happening - Sort of an old school thriller, with the scariest moments being the way that people are killing themselves off after being affected. I love Nights, and I loved this. The Village - Said to be the worst of his films, I thought it was still excellent. Unbreakable - On a bit of a Nights kick, I finally decided to give this one a shot. I've gotta say, it's NOTHING like people told me it'd be...it was good. Man, it was good. Signs - Probably my favorite of his films, have seen it before, but watched it again. Terminator: The Whiny Sarah Connor Chronicles - (imagine this in monotone, much like all of Sarah's dialog is) Idownloadthisshoweverweekandeveryweekitsthesamefuckingthing. It'slikebeinghopelesslydepressedallthetime. Tropic Thunder - I did not have high hopes for this one for some reason, but boy was I wrong! Quite possibly one of the best comedies of the year. I am still shocked at Tom Cruise's performance. Dynamite! The Cube - Had always been interested in this one. Wish I hadn't been... The Office - It never gets old...it just gets better. 30 Rock - That's right, I've watched ALL SIX EPISODES SO FAR!!!! That's right, SIX. I've watched them all. All SIX. Talk about a short season... The X-Files: I Want to Believe - Though I agree with most that this was just a really long episode of the show...I've gotta say it was a really good episode. Pulse - Had high hopes for this one, just seemed to be one of the few titles in the "angry Chinese ghosts come to life and kill people" genre that I could get in to. Horrible, horrible acting pretty much ruins it. There are some pretty disturbing scenes though... The Comback - That short-lived "comedy" with Lisa Kudrow. Didn't really do a whole lot for me...though I'll admit that being a Curb Your Enthusiasm fan doesn't allow for a lot of leniency when it comes to these kinds of shows. Only watched the first three or four episodes, deleted it after that. Fat Actress - Same here, but it's even worst. Only make it through about one or two before deleting it all. Get Smart - I watched this one twice. Love Steve Carrell. You Don't Mess With The Zohan - I couldn't believe how hard I was laughing throughout this one. I didn't give this one a shot in Hell, but it ended up being excellent. If you're debating whether or not to rent it, trust me, rent it, it's great. I know there's more, but that's about all I can think of right now. If you have any thoughts, be sure to chime in...and let us know what you've been watching! Bel |

Kung Fu Panda- Wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but the fight at the end was very entertaining. Hancock- I hate when trailers give you the wrong impression of the movie, but this one was still very good. Get Smart- God that was funny, one of the few movies that I would watch multiple times. Death Note- Good story, but bad acting from the actors. The Voice overs were fine though. The Dark Knight- Third time I've seen it. It hasn't gotten old yet. Dragonball Z- I know, I know, kill me. I can't help it, my younger side just takes over when it's on. :D Shin-Chan- I still think Funimation was on drugs for the dub, this is some of the funniest shit I've ever seen. Cowboy Bebop- Still awesome as always. Great soundtrack and Voice acting. The Boondocks- Not sure why I bought the whole first season, but it's really good overall. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm- Based off the '90 series. Best Batman and Joker, I say. |

I think a lot of people pass this one up just simply due to the fact that it's animated, but you're right, it's excellent. Mark Hamill does a great job with the Joker, and everyone else holds up very well. I don't think I saw any of the other Batman animated movies though...oh wait, I saw Sub-Zero...wasn't real thrilled. I have also seen the Batman Beyond movie, that was pretty good. Bel |

There have been a lot more than 6 episodes of this show. The show is in it's 3rd year. Oh, just realized there have only been 6 this season, I'm sure there will be more in January/February for sweeps.
You already know i'm going to disagree with you here. If you think it sucks so bad, why do you download it every week?
I'm surprised you're a fan of Mr. Shamalan's. Personally, I think Unbreakable was his best film, I didn't like Signs, or the Village, and probably the only way I'll watch The Happening is if some girl I'm fucking wants to see it. Lately, I've been watching some anime Outlaw Star Mysterious Cities of Gold Trigun Some shows I keep up with are Terminator Prison Break (don't ask me why, it's starting to remind me a lot of Nowhere Man if he had some help, must be why I like it) Life House Leverage Heroes My Own Worst Enemy (it had a good premise, and turned out to be a lot better than I thought it would be, but after watching the episodes and the directions they took the show in, it seems like the writers wrote themselves into a corner, and I understand why NBC already canceled the show.) Dexter The Mentalist - This show is great, if you haven't watched any of it yet, it's entertaining Crusoe - I couldn't believe a major network is airing this, the subject matter is so CW, should be in a two hour block with Legend of the Seeker right after Xena reruns. The show probably would have had a chance then And one show that I recently finished watching The Shield. Man the last three episodes were the best the show has ever been. Best cop show ever |

At most they can have one new episode a week...and you *know* there are weeks where they just don't do a new one. Watch, I predict 12 episodes for the entire season...
Boredom + Unemployment. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff I've been downloading/watching. Horrible, horrible shit...and I watch the stuff because I have nothing else to do.
I've seen one episode(the pilot) and you're right, it's excellent!
I'd have to disagree, and then note NYPD Blue. Of course, someone older than me would disagree with that and then note HillStreet Blues. To me, though, NYPD Blue is the best...I find it hard to believe anything could beat it...but shit, I'm willing to give The Shield a try(have always wanted to see it). :) Bel |

I was at Numbers last night with some friends and they had a screening of Repo! The Genetic Opera. Surprisingly, I liked it and it's not my type of movie at all. http://movies.apple.com/movies/lionsgate/repo/repo-tlr1b_h640w.mov |

Funny thing about Hilton is that she fit her role so perfectly (annoying bitch addicted to plastic surgery) I didn't even mind her. She was also involved in the funniest part of the movie near the end, It was more like laughing at her instead of with though. |

Haven't watched a whole lot lately, but it's just due to the fact that I've been pounding The Shield until I finally finished the series. Storm of the Century - People say that this is Stephen King's "Best book to movie" adaptation. Can't really comment there as I haven't read the book, but man the movie was good. Clocking in at 4 hours and some change, you've gotta strap yourself in for the ride. Excellent stuff though, they did a really good job with it. "Hell is repetition"... Halfway Home - A shortlived Comedy Central show about a group of convicts who are living in a "halfway home" as part of their parole. Think Reno 911, but with convicts. Honestly, I liked it...but they decided to cancel it after one season. Doesn't look to be coming to DVD so I burned the episodes myself...this one's a keeper. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Up to mid-season 3 now and I gotta say: This show is fucking awesome. To all those who have never seen it and want to sample it, download just the very first episode of Season 1. If you don't like it, this series is not for you...if you do though, get ready for some of the best, twisted comedy to come along in a while. Star Trek Remastered: Season 2 - Man, what happened? Season 1 RM was so unbelievably good, I mean I am *still* shocked at how wonderful that first season was...and then you ad in the remastered special effects and stuff...it's almost perfect. Season 2, so far, has been a HUGE disappointment. The whole mood of the show just seems completely different, and the plots are beyond fucking goofy...even with the remastered special effects I am finding it hard to sit through this shit. I hear there are some un-missable episodes to come out of Season 2, so I will finish it...but man it's gonna be tough. I hear Season 3 sucks ass. Vinnie Jones' Toughest Cops - Wow, talk about violent. This guy runs around to the most dangerous places on the planet and does a documentary about their police force. It is downright brutal. Cathouse - Yes, the HBO series about the Moonlight Bunny Ranch(brothel) in Nevada. Honestly, it's one of those hard-but-fun to watch sort of shows. The women are annoying to no-end...and lie non-stop, but it's just so much fun to watch these "jons" fall for it. Not for the religious crowd, nor the prudes, but a lot of fun if you're thinking of becoming a pimp(and I am). ;) The Shield - Made it through all 7 seasons...and I've got to say that this has to be one of the *BEST* television series of all time. The acting is top-notch, the plots are thick and meaty and the constant suspense is riveting. That Michael Chiklis is fucking awesome. Man, that last episode is haunting...took me a whole day to get it out of my mind. What a ride...what a great ride. On the que: Freedom(6 part anime series), The Brothers Grimm, Shinobi, Creepshow 3, Stephen King's "It", Fortysomething, Kablam!, The Mentalist and SuperNatural. Bel |

I've been a big fan of the shield since the beginning. If you like It's always sunny, you might like Testees. You can watch all of the first (and only so far) season on Hulu. |

I'll give it a shot! Watched "It" last night...and I've gotta say it was pretty good...not as good as Storm of the Century, but still creepy. The thing at the end could have used some serious work as it just looks ridiculous now(and probably did back then as well). Going to grab "The Stand" next...I don't remember liking it very much, but then again I was pretty young when it came out. I do remember that Parker Lewis is in it though! ;) Bel |

Speed Racer: It was okay after I got used to the weird-ass effects. The ending was some kind of super acid trip. The Bourne Supremacy: I liked this one better than the first because there was a sense of danger unlike the first one. I'll be seeing the last one eventually. Wrestlemania XXIV: I checked this one out in Blu-Ray to see if there was a difference. It actually did look much better (for once). Overall, it was a fun Wrestlemania for the most part. Watchmen: Good movie. I actually liked the movie's ending more than the book's. (Blasphemy! ;)) |

Other than the special effects, I thought that the ending was the only decent part about the movie(sadly).
All three, imo, are damn good.
Watched a cam of it...it was alright. Not ever reading the book, I wasn't sure what it'd be like. Would definitely buy it when it hits DVD. Bel |

The ending in the comic book/graphic novel was a little less plausible than the ending in the movie, but the same effect was achieved. I also liked the movie ending better. A friend loaned me the book about a month before the movie came out, I read the whole thing in about 2 nights. The thing that I was surprised most by was how much effort was put into telling the story in the movie in the same way it was presented in the comic, keeping the same sequence. I thought this was kind of a mistake. A fair amount of the backstory with the previous generation of heroes was condensed, which was understandable considering how much there was. Maybe the directors cut will be different. |

I tried to watch the motion comic for Watchmen, but they decided to ruin it by *USING THE SAME GUY FOR EVERY SINGLE FUCKING VOICE IN THE ENTIRE COMIC(including the women)*. I thought it was a joke at first, that whoever ripped the DVD had just voiced everyone as a goof...but no, this was a *professional* production....with one fucking guy doing the voices. Talk about cheap...WB is the Sega of the movie industry apparently... Bel |

Watchmen Directors Cut (BD)- Totally worth it to get the extended version. The Hollis Mason part was left in this time as well as a few other scenes that actually help the movie. Oh, and the gruesome violence has been upped to damn near Robocop levels. ;) The BD version looks and sounds great, but they didn't use the IMAX transfer, which was a little disappointing. I liked when The Dark Knight fit my TV screen. |

I've seen both versions of Watchmen and loved them...the Director's Cut is definitely better though, the added scenes really help. Bought the DVD DC version...downloaded a rip of the DC Blu-Ray version(fuck the BDA). ;) Speaking of Director's Cuts and stuff watched recently, I did get around to finally getting AvsP: Requiem(DC). The DC, though only adding 7 minutes to the film, really helps, story-wise. I can't believe they left those clips out when it originally played in theaters...no wonder it got panned. Anyway, if you like the AvsP series, I recommend the DC version of both parts 1 and 2... Past that, I can't think of much. Saw Night at the Museum 2 last night...it was pretty good(though not as good as the first, imo). I loved the 300 scene...;) I'm sure I've seen some other stuff, but can't really think of it right now. Bel |

Zombieland: I can't believe it took me this long to find a movie besides Star Trek to make me go "Hell yeah!" after I've finished watching it. There was a great cameo in it and I liked the characters too. I just there were more inventive zombie kills beside the piano one in the commercial and a couple of others. Great stuff overall. |

It does look pretty good, I don't know if I'll get around to watching it in the theatre though. I don't really much care for the theatre and if, like in nicer hotels, you could pay to watch a film that's currently in the theatre(and yes, I realize I am using the old world spelling) then I would *never* go in. I just wish we were finally at that point, where we could have stuff like that in our houses. Granted, I fully understand why they will *never* do it, but it'd just be so nice. Bel |

Astro Boy: I actually really liked this movie. I saw both this and Where the Wild Things Are and was more satisfied with Astro Boy. I guess I was so ready to be let down by it because it was an Americanization of another anime *coughfuckyoufoxcough*. Thankfully, Imagi actually respected the source material and it showed. I wouldn't mind seeing it again. As for Where the Wild Thinga Are, it was okay. |
