Watch, even though they said "it's aged", they'll just do a quick Direct-3D upgrade and put it out...I promise you. The work involved vs the profit is just too good. Even lazy-ass Sega would do this. Bel |

If they release one Saturn title, that reportedly uses *all* of the Saturn's processors in assembly language to their fullest, we *will* see more Saturn games released on XBLA.

They had just better make it Live playable, and for Tengen's sake let us host and invite privately. |

Oh, if it's an XBLA title it almost *has* to be online. Plus, wasn't the DC version netplayable? I know the Saturn version was...so even lazy-ass Sega could just work that code in to the this new, ported version. Bel |

I've never played the new VO, just the old one on Saturn. I guess I could try the demo...I've always heard the second VO wasn't so good though(or was it just the DC port?). I do like VO though, so I wouldn't mind playing it online again(haven't played it online since my Netlink days). Bel |

Bel! I've had a counter to the negative reviews of VOOT on Dreamcast up since the game came out! Heh, seriously though, Dreamcast game is a perfect port of Virtual On Oratario Tangram and the control scheme is very easy to pick up on with just the standard DC gamepad. Only a few of the mechs have a super special move that can't be pulled off without the Twin Sticks. Fans of the arcade version trumped that up to a fatal flaw of the DC control scheme, and the reviewers pointed to the expensive Twin Sticks as a reason *not* to play the game at all. VOOT improves on Virtual On 1 in every possible way and is one of the few games I have *ever* played that I would call perfect. Getting in now is better than never, but you must give this game a chance to blow your mind with its intense combat. |

Oh what horribly overused expression is appropriate here. WOOT! Yeah, that's it. Even though I have failed to play through the last five XBLA games I've bought, you can bet I will buy this one. I will also buy it again when it is inevitably released for some handy PC DLC service. That's not even considering the fact that I haven't ever played the game! I just hate the mantra, that all games must be driven by badly written stories so much, that I'll buy it. It helps that I'm about to play through the SMS game with a new sound chip too. ;) |

It really is awesome, they've got it over at the local GameWorks. I enjoy it a LOT more than the original(despite the various versions across various consoles), it just seems easier and less spastic. Plus, that silky-smooth 60fps framerate just gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. Bel |
