Forum member "Wang" and myself have started up an online gaming business, which we're calling "Retro Gaming Addict". Pulling from Wang's *unbelievable* stock of old school games and hardware, plus a little bit of my own, we've started listing stuff on ebay just last night. Right now we've got 26 listings active, with a *lot* more coming and the next batch hitting this Sunday. If you're interested, stop on by:

Retro Gaming Addict ebay sales

This is just our first wave of listings...coming soon are new in box(sealed) NES, SNES, Genesis, PS2, PSX, Nintendo DS and Gamecube games. Plus we'll be listing hardware like a SuperGrafx(in box!), Pioneer Laser MD(with Sega Pac) and three "games", SNES, Genesis and more!

Most of the stock comes from my partner, and resides now in my apt...and I've gotta tell you: It's incredible. I've never seen a collection of stuff like this before. I'm playing systems I've only ever *read* about! All of it will hit ebay, ALL OF IT! Our next wave of listings starts Sunday...hope to see you there.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via ebay, my personal email(on WAG) or here on the forums.

Thanks,

Bel

It's not his entire collection...but it's definitely close. He's keeping some NES, DC and Turbo stuff. :)

Bel, sorry man. It looks like I really sniped you on that Contra III. I'm willing to take a refund if you want to get out a label printer and copy this guy's ultra rare copy. It's up to you. ;)

LoL, yeah, these motherfuckers on ebay...it's really something. ;)

More auctions coming up next week, we should have some DC, Saturn, Sega CD, Genesis, Super Nintendo and N64 listed. Wang wants to save the Mega LD for about a while yet...

Played a few "games" on it the other night...it's kind of fun. I liked Pyramid Patrol...but I just can't see keeping the entire system just for that. It is nice that it plays Genesis and Sega CD games, and then you can buy that NEC Pac to play TG16/PC Engine cards and CDs as well. Pretty wild system...huge too.

We managed to get Gauntlet Legends in when we bought a DC lot the other day...finally got to play it. Man, I really dig it. I *hated* the old Gauntlet games, but this one is just so much fun. I love the 3DFX graphics too...brings me back. I also got to play Wacky Races on DC. Wasn't that the first cell shaded game ever? Man, it's pretty good, I like it!

I think that's the best part about this whole venture, as Wang buys new stuff in, I get to play with it before we sell it!

Bel

BTW, I haven't been ignoring the forums, I've just been so busy with RGA(listings, the site, organizing, buying in, etc), plus I've still got my stuff for The Examiner too. Anyway, I'll get to some posts at some point, promise. :)

I'd really like a Laseractive simply for the S-video port. On my RPTV I have a feeling that Genesis/TG16 games would look great with S-video quality.

Wacky Races preceded JSR by a couple of months if I recall. I actually enjoyed Gauntlet Legends on DC also, I keep meaning to pick it up but not for the usual $30.

Yeah, I figure a lot of people want it simply for that reason...but you know me, I *don't* even remotely want to see the Genesis in S-Video.

Yeah, I know it...it's always expensive as fuck(as is the Xbox version). I am actually going to bid on it, hopefully I can get it for around $10.

If I ever end up with a DLP HDTV I'll probably feel the same way about systems that were designed around Composite A/V. Until then though, even emulation looks pretty good unfiltered on this RPTV.

Man y'all are up so early. Let me say that nothing is as nice as plugging in an Atari or Colecovison (have to test this stuff, been sitting in my closet for too long), with adapters, just to see them in all their glory on a LED DLP. Ugh, those pixels are so HUGE. Bel is right, if you keep a CRT TV around it great for all those systems that were not designed for HDTVs.

Don't ask me how to get that backwards "b"

Finally got the website up and running(*someone* jumped the gun and started the listings on Tuesday instead of Sunday, as we had originally planned). ;)

It's quite basic, but gives you a quick overview of everything we've got up and then allows you to look at larger pics of the items and hear some inane commentary by myself and the guys...

Stop on by if you get bored. ;)

Yeah, I think I will look in to it. I am have been pretty disgusted with GameTZ, so the thought of "points" and just getting what you want once you hit that amount sounds really good!

BTW, last day of auctions for our first wave! If you want anything, now is the time to start bidding!

Our second wave of auctions have been listed. This time around we've got some clone systems like the "Generation Nex"(a hip, little NES clone), the "Yobo FC Twin"(NES and SNES), a few GameCube(one being the Metroid Edition) and GameBoy Advance lots(one with the card version of Mario Party). Games include the 4 game version of the Zelda CE disc, Resident Evil 3(DC) and another copy of the cult-classic "D2"(DC).

Third Wave Redux - Just now recovering from the "Hacked ebay Account Experience", we've finally managed to get back in to our account and relist the items of the third wave...which was just *one* day away from finishing when all of this happened. Please see the post above for a quick run down on what's available, or visit us at RGA.com for more info. If you were bidding on an item when it was taken down, we apologize and encourage you to come on back. :)

Our next wave will consist of nothing but system lots! Complete systems(boxes, manuals, etc) will be packed with games, accessories and more in an effort to keep my girlfriend from walking out on me due to the fact that there is approximately six feet of space in my entire apt that one can move around in at any given time. These systems have got to go...even my cat is complaining! Look for units of N64, SuperGrafx, Pioneer Laser Active(with Sega Pac), Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Game Gear(Blue), Sega Master System, Dreamcast and more in just one week's time.

'ello all,

As previously promised, our fourth wave of auctions are dedicate to system lots! My apt is an absolute disgrace, looks like someone set off a bomb composed entirely of video game hardware and software....with that said, it's time to get some of this inventory moving before my cat and girlfriend walk out on me! This week we've got system packages for the Genesis, SNES, Japanese and US Saturn, Pioneer LaserActive, Game Gear, Dreamcast, NES and more! We've got a Netlink, PC and Mac games, The Official Nintendo Player's Guide, a Radica Arcade Legends unit and just about everything else in between....stop on by and have a look:

As always, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us via ebay, my personal email, on RGA or here on the forums. :)

Alright, now that I have some room to actually breath, Wave 5 has started. This week we're taking a bit of a break and offering mostly single games. We've got some brand new(sealed) stuff on the Genesis, GameBoy Advance, Sega CD and Nintendo 64...and then some classics on the Sega Master System, Genesis and Dreamcast. Rounding it out is Zelda: Twilight Princess with the Premiere Edition Strat. Guide, the always-popular "Memory Card Plus" for the Saturn and the *amazing* Guardian Heroes(with multi-tap)!

Like always, if you have any questions please feel free to contact us via ebay, my personal email, on RGA or here on the forums. :)

This is ass-backwards, but I've put in a bid for Guardian Heroes. If I win it, then I'll get a Saturn. Silly, I know...:p

Well, at least you'll have a solid game to start off with...and something decent to sell the system off with. ;) Honestly, the Saturn isn't for everyone...a lot of people dislike it without giving it a real shot. Now that virtually all Saturn software must be purchased online, a lot of people can't or won't give it a fair shot. Just keep this in mind...
