I don't know what to hope for, that Disney can pull of a movie I actually want to watch, or that it flops and makes 3D look like the horrible gimmick it still is.

I'm gonna sing the DOOM Song.
I don't know about 3D, but I do know I want to see this movie. It looks way better than I thought it would.

Taster's Choice
i saw it opening weekend - i thought it was pretty entertaining - though like most 3d movies, the 3d didn't really add anything. I would have watched it 2D if I could, but the theater I was at only had a 3d showing.

If you're a huge fan of the original tron and are looking for the sequel to be the same thing, you'd be in for a disappointment, but if you're going in fresh, or if you're willing to just have the essential framework from the original intact, but practically everything else re-imagined and revamped, it's not bad.
