Turtles Forever
(I figure I can post that here without issue...I mean, you can watch the entire movie on Veoh, YouTube and other sites on the net, so it must be alright)

I had no idea this even existed until about a week ago...

If you're a fan of the turtles, you *need* to see this. Don't look it up on IMDB, don't hit the Wiki, just find it however you can and watch it. There are so many fucking awesome pieces in this movie that could potentially be ruined by any given bit of info you may find on the net. I am thankful I simply ran in to the torrent and that was it.

The premise of the movie is that the animated turtles from the 1980s run in to the turtles of today(that WB series) and have to team up to take out The Shredder. The great part is, the old turtles still act like they did from their series...and, of course, it just confuses the new turtles. Makes for so many great moments.

I will stop there and just recommend you go and watch it. Do yourself a favor and watch all of it too...it's gets better as it goes...and in an unbelievably cool move that I *still* cannot believe, the ending will blow you nuts off. I, honestly, thought they'd just beat The Shredder, the old turtles would go back and that'd be the end of it. Whoever produced this thing wanted to pay homage to the turtles, and that last 15 minutes of the movie does it in spades. Too cool.

There are also some interesting cameos like Tokka and Rayzar from the TMNT2 movie and this bad-ass scene where they start showing you turtles from all the other universes(including the movie turtles and the new CGI turtles).

I will buy this as soon as I find it on DVD!

I just watched it, it was greatness! I love seeing all the old stuff, my brother had all those things as toys...well except the blimp! I agree about not giving too much away, it just needs to be watched. I will say that my favorite part was the 'old' Raph breaking the fourth wall and the 'new' Raph looking confused. Hilarious.

Multiverse, destroy the original "Prime", I guess I shouldn't have seen "Crisis on Two Earths" first. Why is everybody so infatuated with theoretical/hypothetical dimensions right now?

I thought the original turtles were caricatured. They were/are cooler and more creative than this movie presented them. Seriously, the only thing I really liked in the earlier parts of the movies was the "new" Michelangelo appreciating how awesome exploding robot ninjas are.

I'm still watching it though, we will see where I end up with it. In the mean time, Crisis on Two Earths is on Netflix...

-edit-

Hah, Turtle Comic Noir redeems the whole thing. This one's a keeper!

Not sure if anybody has seen this yet, but the Angry Video Game Nerd has been busy reviewing the Turtles cartoons.
