The AIO is a handy-dandy tool that, as it's name suggests, is useful for many things. First, money. You can donate it, invest it, and spend it. Look at the 'AIO shop' link next to the Members, Calendar, etc to do those things. Donating it to another person is simple enough. If you want to invest stuff, check out the Bank. Banking pays interest each day, so keep your money in the bank when you're not using it. Don't worry, you can't have bank runs in the AIO. You can also buy and sell items. Right now, the only thing available is permission to create a 'department' (I'll talk about that soon) based on your RP's activity. You can set your own set of stuff to sell to other people. Departments are an example of the stock system. You buy a department for $500. Once you get one, you can start selling 'shares' of your RP. Just set the price at ten and the stock at anywhere from 50 to 1,000,000 for now. At the end of each week (preferably any set time during the weekend), you can change the price. The price is equivalent to the number of posts the RP got during the week. The point is that people can buy low, sell high to make money. You also get a 5% commission every time someone sells their shares back to you (represented by resale being for 95% of the price of the item). In the end, everyone makes money...hopefully. You also get money by posting. Adding a reply gets more than making a fast reply, and making a topic gets more than adding a reply. There are a few other things the AIO can do, but right now, none of those are active on this site, including post contests and reputations. If you want to learn more, check out the site I got this thing from:waaaaaay over here. Edited by Twi, Aug 30 2010, 05:24 PM.
