Whether you're a diehard fan, or a new person still getting their foot through the wide world of anime, what was it that attracted you to these shows? What have you watched? What have you loved? What have you found so totally bizarre you had to take a step back for a moment? I watched my first anime, seriously, when I began to watch a program called Dragon Ball Z. Sure I'd seen some Pokemon, and the odd episode of Sailor Moon, but not because I wanted to, but because these were the shows my siblings were watching, and I simply had little better to do than stare at the TV when I should have been getting ready for school. But it wasn't until I watched Spirited Away and we finally got the internet that I truly feel into the lap of anime. And I was one of those people that had to march against the tide and watch things that weren't mainstream. So, after I while I stumbled across one of my favourite anime called Prince of Tennis. By this point I was more than willing to take a leap of faith and watch an anime that was focused, at first glance, on sport. So, what about you? |

Most definately yes. I've been watching Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden, Elfen Lied, Death Note, FMA and FMA Brotherhood, Saikano and many more. |

Death Note is pure awesome, I read the manga and watched the anime xP. I used to watch Naruto but I read it now because it updates more regularly and I got bored of the fillers. Have you seen Dammit my dog pressed enter on my keyboard. Have you seen Akagi or DRRR! I'd recommend both immensely. Edited by Akagi, Nov 26 2010, 09:58 PM.

I watched shows like Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and Pokemon when I was younger (Though Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon were pretty much forced on me by my brothers lol). Then a couple of years ago I was introduced to Naruto by one of my relatives. Naruto is probably what really got me interested in anime, but I did not become a die hard fan until around 2 years ago. I stumbled upon bleach and then when I caught up with bleach and naruto and had to wait for updates, I decided to seek out more anime. So now I am definitely a die hard anime fan! |

What kind of thing do you watch? Just things like Naruto and Bleach, or other types too? |

I myself really enjoyed Gundam Wing. Along with Dragon Ball and Z, Big O, Rurouni Kenshin, all the Tenchi Muyo shows, Naruto, and Tokko! |

I finished watching Bakemonogatari recently; it's pretty strange in some respects and the style can be dark too, but I think it's worth a watch. I thought it was slightly different from a couple of ones I'd watched before that - and was interesting. You might enjoy Durarara! if you haven't already seen it. |
