Finding the right thing that would grab at the hearts of the students and faculty was something of a challenge to the shape shifter. Samantha wanted to show the school how warm and welcomed she felt since her arrival. She really wanted to find the person who saved her so that she could thank them. Without their efforts, she would have been dead and she was most grateful for that person’s effort to bring her to the school rather than some hospital where they’d find out about her mutation.

Placing the oven gloves on her hands, Sam reached the oven and pulled the door open. Taking in the fresh aroma of a fresh apple crumb pie, Sam took in a deep breath and moaned with the pleasure that was arousing her taste buds. She pulled out the pie and carefully placed it on the counter to cool. It was still bubbling from the heat and she was already watering at the mouth to take a bite. But she had to remember why she made the pie in the first place. She just wanted to find friends and acquaintances and possibly love here, not out in the world where cruel humans lived. What a better way to introduce herself than with a fresh homemade apple pie?

Closing the oven door, Sam turned it off and returned to the pie making sure it was fully cooked. Then giving herself a pleasing smile of approval, she walked over to the frig in her ripped jeans, white silk shirt and boating shoes. They were silent across the tile floor and her hair was loosely back in a ponytail. Can’t get hair in the pie. She opened the door looking for something to drink, hopefully bottled water. Too bad there wasn’t beer in the frig, but not at a school. She’d have to go out in that world to get one, but maybe she would plunder out..later. Right now, she searched for something more etiquette, more bland.

(Hey Sapphire)

"MMMM...." A feminine voice purred upon smelling the apple pie. "That smells terrific." The voice praised as the owner came into view. Boot clad feet found their way onto the tile in the kitchen. The boots belonged to one person and one person only. That person was Dia, a metal based mutant in every since of the word. Her gray skin and fog white hair immediately labeled her as a mutant. The only gray skinned mutant known, so far that is.

Dia was known to look as plain as her skin suggested not really finding a reason to 'doll up' just for the sake of others. Besides, she didn't look that bad. Her clothing fitting her figure decently well, showing a bit of her curves off but not too much. "Hey. I'm Dia." Not that this woman wouldn't already know that but it was a habit Dia had picked up. Though how she picked it up without actually greeting anyone but Mina, Rika, and Alix who knows.
