Fate walked slowly and calmly along the beach. Even though she was supposed to be evil and slinking in corners, a woman needed her detox from it all.. that and the stress of being evil did mondo damage to her hair. Today was a day when she was going to relax.. maybe cause a bunch of migraines, make some man dump his wife just to watch her cry; the usual. Staring out at the lake, The beautiful brunette let her guard down for the first time in awhile. she found the water relaxing, comforting, soothing. -Maybe when I steal enough money I'll retire to a small beachfront home- she thought to herself. Oh the joys of being bad; she had no restrictions; she did what she wanted. She continued her path along the beach, letting her bare feet feel the cool rushing water and the feeling of beach sand (which was, by far, the best sand in the world.) she felt in her mind the subtlelty of an eel not too far off, and smiled. She entered the creatures conciounse and took control of it's mind, sending it in the direction of a rather large woman a ways down the beach. She could feel the eel swimming toward the woman at top speed, and she let out a soft chuckle when she heard the scream of the woman: Bullseye. she released the creature from her control and searched the beach. Suddenly she felt the power of another mutant... her smile turned into a snarl: she was one of mina's little pets. She turned and began jogging in the direction of the woman, all the while homing in on her newfound enemy. "Stupid little do-gooder.." she snarled. "Bring it on, X-freak.. let's see what you can do"... |

Lou Tringum had ventured away from the institute. It wasn't because those men had found her it was a longing. Actually the feeling was a longing to travel away from what was becoming her home. Though completely odd it was as though she wasn't suppose to stay in one place. The young woman was staring at the vast surface of the lake. On the opposite shores was Canada, the place of her birth. However Lake Ontario was so large that it mirrored a small sea. Distance from one shore to the next made it not only impossible to see yonder bank but impossible to swim across. Being in its middle trapped on a boat during a storm gave the sailors the same feelings as if trapped on the ocean; the feeling of dread, the dread of never seeing land again. Sadly there was no storm on its way nor was there a cloud in sight. But this was a rare moment where her mind wasn't on the sun bearing down over head. Allowing the breeze from the lake blow her obsidian black hair she dug into the sand with bare feet. She couldn't resist the course feeling of the sand between her pale toes as it tickled them. Suddenly a women's scream took away the happy thoughts. ~Probably a minnow brushed up against her leg,~ she thought turning to see another woman aways down. The way that woman was jogging pell-mell towards her caused Lou to grab her black cowboy boots head toward a high standing cliff. Fast she walked until the shining sun became shadowed. The perfect place if the woman wished to attack, away from bystanders and out of the sun. Turning abruptly she faced the auburn haired woman and smile. "Nice weather we be havin' today." |

Fate slowed down and began to walk calmly over to the Woman. She probed her mind and gathered her name: Lou. Hmmm, interesting name. "Nice weather we be havin' today." Fate gave a small smirk at the comment. It was a nice day, true; but she wasn't about to tell her that. "yes, it's a nice day out. too bad these humans have to stink it up." she smiled a bit wider and aimed a telepathic blast at the lady who had just been bit by the eel. Another scream peirced the air. -Poor tub of lard...- she thought to herself. She looked around and gave a small shudder. This Lou chick brought her out to the most secluded spot on the entire beach. .: I know who you are, Lou. You're one of Mina's little pets, a teacher and an X-man. Protectors of truth and justice, saving the world one baby at a time, or whatever it is you guys do:. Fate stared calmly at the woman; showing no fear, no emotion at all. She didn't know what would become of the situation, and quite frankly, she didn't much care. She did know, however, that she wouldn't enjoy herself knowing an X-man was here. .:well, it's nice to see you are here alone. I thought you X-freaks were joined at the hip:. smiling, she turned around and walked to the edge of the trees and stared out at the people frollicking in the water. this time she spoke aloud. "Poor bastards. Playing as if nothing in the world matters. Not knowing that by the end of today, I'll have made sure they will all leave here knowing what mutants are capable of- assuming, of course, I even let them leave." smiling to herself, she turned and faced the woman. "but of course, an X-man would never allow that, now would she?" she immediately tuned in to 2 purple sandpiper's in the area. Seizing control of their little minds, she smiled. This would be fun. "oh Lou? watch out for your head." Suddenly she saw as the little sandpiper's did what she had commanded them to do. Little puffs of feathers flying from the treetops, heading straight for the X-man's eyes and face. they weren't necessarily the most deadly of the bird's per se, they were actually quite cute when you looked at them, but they had beaks of about 1 inch long and fairly sharp, perfect for tearing out one's eyes. In an instant, Fate had turned these cute little puffballs into darts, and she was interested to see how the woman would react. Oh, how this would be fun. |

Lou didn't move nor say a word. She wore a passive, neutral face. The derogatory comments about the humans and her being an X-man she allowed the wash over her without even a raise of an eyebrow. No sort of reaction did she betray expect for the calling of her name. ::Hmm interesting,:: she thought toward Fate. "A telepath who doesn't ask permission to enter ones mind. How original," she said rolling dark gray eyes. Telepathy was one mutation she hated being used against her. Neither barriers nor protection expect for the ethics of the one with the power. Still not moving her full attention was on surveying the area making a plan of attack. "Not knowing that by the end of today, I'll have made sure they will all leave here knowing what mutants are capable of- assuming, of course, I even let them leave... but of course, an X-man would never allow that, now would she?" Yes, an X-man would never allow humans to get hurt. Yet she made no retort but once again allowed the words wash over her. Anything that she said would be a challenge to Fate and pushing ideas in her head would be all the worst. At the moment they were only empty threats. Heck, even Fate's warning wasn't heeded. Why would she look up after all those years of being chased? Best to keep full view of an enemy or at least she thought. When the first sandpiper hit the top of her dark head Lou threw her pale arms into a defensive position blocking her face. They kept attacking relentlessly with no end in sight. She had to act now or the birds would likely pick out an eye. Her face was starting to cringe in pain as their beaks poked her hands and arms. Suddenly the birds dropped out of the sky and fell toward the earth as though they were stuffed animals. She stood up straight blood trickling from a gash on her thumb. Taking a deep breath Lou exhaled it slowly as the sandpipers awoke slightly stunned and flew away clearly out of the mutant's control. "Let me guess, you be from the Brotherhood or another group of mutants bent of world domination," Lou joked with a small sneer. "I don't care who ya belong to but a name would be nice," she asked staring once more at Fate. Now she was ready for anything, almost anything. |

"haha... I gave you a fair warning" said Fate, looking positively bored. "My name is Fate. Nice to meet you." once more she was reaching out with her mind, trying to find anything that she could use against this woman. She smiled at the cuts and scratches all along the woman's arms. She looked back along the beach and saw a young boy playing with his dogs. Perfect. Smiling to herself, she spoke telepathically to Lou. "hey lou, let's play a game, shall we? you try and catch me, and I'll try and wipe out these damn people. ready? GO!" turning she fled in the direction of the people and thought fiercely. "come on Lou, take the bait." to add incentive, she put the dogs under her control. One, a German shepherd, turned and rushed at Lou. The other, a Black Lab, turned and began to snap at the little. Boy. .:Come on Lou! fight off the dog and save the boy, or would you rather sit by as I let the dog take a chunk out of his neck? stop me, X-man!:. she yelled into the woman's thoughts. She was running for an abandoned section of the beach, where she wanted to take on Lou one on one, assuming of course, she was made of the stuff of a true X-man. As she ran, she also let loose a telepathic bubble around herself. Anyne within 10 feet of her would scream in pain as she ran by, laughing savagely, she continued to run towars the beach. She knew she was infuriating Lou, but she didn't care. All the better of a fight.. |

"Fate, eh," Lou said mirroring Fate's bored look. Her mind began to reel trying to figure out what type of telepathy she had by her name. Unless that was her given name, ~It be pretty.~ All pleasantries were set aside as soon as the telepath sent the warning threat. A look of aggression filled her face innocents should never be brought into a battle. Lou took the bait willingly but instead of running away from the German shepherd she charged it. Feet away from its snarling teeth their breaths became visible for a second. Couching slightly she jumped over it as it yelped in surprise and continued running in fear. ~The boy... Must get to the boy,~ she thought running as fast as she could. The boy was positively frightened. His dogs had been well trained and now his favorite was poised for attack. Without warning the black lab reared and charged him. However its teeth met only air for a dark haired woman scooped up the young child in retreat. "Listen to me," she whispered over the dogs snarling barks into his ear. "Whatever happens as soon as I let ya down run to your parents." A nod was the only answer she received. The dog aimed an attack at Lou's ankle but before it could bite down the air around them became cooler. Only the boy and dog would notice the drop in temperature. It felt as though it was winter not summer. For a second the animal stood before it too ran away. "I'm sorry," the X-man said as she placed the child down. Tears were running down his face as he was screaming in terror but at least he ran toward what appeared to be his mom. She was mad now, furious was the proper word. She ran after the woman not paying a care at the reproachful looks of the bystanders. If that telepath kept the game up every restriction Lou possessed would be gone. If Fate wanted a fight she was going to get one. |

What the hell was going on? why was Lou not getting hurt? these thoughts bothered Fate moreso than anything else. She spun quickly on her heel and stared stright into the dark haired mutants eyes and attacked her mind savagely. ripped, tore, pushed, and pretty much mangled her mind. she knew that the pain was near unbearable to most, and wondered how the woman would take it. she spoke telepathically into the woman's mind, "awww, Miss Louise Tringum has daddy issues. haha I can see why he didn't want you:. she turned and ran in the direction of the beach. She withdrew from her mind and reached out with her thoughts...hmmm... she didn't want to put a human under her control, it took up too much energy... smiling to herself she ran around a corner to the deserted side of the beach. Here, it was just the two of them. She set up a barrier leading to the secluded part of theb beach. When Lou hit it, it was going to hurt her like she had just gotten slammed in the head with a sledgehammer. Or so she expected anyways. She reached the middle of the beach and turned and sat on a rock, looking positively bored. She had about 100 yards advantage over the woman. smiling to herself, she waited for the angry X-man to turn the corner. .: so, why aren't you getting hurt? what is your power?:. she didn't understand why her tricks were not working on the woman.. "what the hell is going on?" she asked herself. she didn't understand... generally she was in control of the situation, and in this case, she was running away from someone. She was still in control, but barely... Standing, she braced herself for the oncoming onslaught. One thing was for damn sure. Only one of them was going to come out a winner here.. |

To say that Lou was surprised when the telepath turned and looked straight into her eyes was an understatement. As Fate began the ravage of her mind she knew there was nothing to stop the telepath. It was an unpleasant sensation but didn't stop her from running forward. Eyes wincing, her mind tried to focus on one thing 'stop Fate.' However she wasn't expecting the next statement. "awww, Miss Louise Tringum has daddy issues. haha I can see why he didn't want you:. Abruptly stopping in the sand wasn't the best idea. Not paying any attention to the fact that for the briefest second she lost her balance her face burned with a hateful desire. "Do not call me Louise," she screamed as a pale hand pulled off the gold heart shaped locket around her neck. She threw into the back pocket of her jeans. "I ain't be goin' by that name anymore." Whether it was Fate's plan or not Lou became distracted. It had been six years since she was called that name. Five counting the time she was taken on an unwanted joyride. That was when a voice spoke within her fuming mind. ~Don't be listenin' to her. It be a trap.~ Eyes narrowed as they zoned in on the running mutant. Without warning she charged knowing full well that something bad was going to happen. The telepath stopped running and now was gingerly sitting on a rock. The chase was over and yet something odd happened. Running full mill into the barrier was the worst thing possible. The force of the attack caused her to topple of over but the opposite expression was written on her face. Through the searing pain as her head pounded Lou stood with a smile plain as day. "It may hurt. It may be great pain but I'm use to it. I've lived on the Rio Grande," Lou shouted holding the side of her head. The last statement was encouragement, of remembrance of migraines. With one step she pushed herself through the barrier with as much ease as possible. The tears in her dark gray eyes only proved the pain her mind felt but that wasn't going to stop her. ::Maybe they are to stop you,:: she thought to the telepath. For the moment she had the upper hand. The one left standing would be the one with the most ingenuity and not by power. |

Fate had never been this confused. Here was this WOMAN who would not fall down and stay there. She was beginning to become agitated. But this is what Fate had wanted. She had looked for a fight, and she was getting it. She figured a little more anger could cause the X-man to be even more reckless. .:why does it bother you so much, Louise? is it because Daddy named you? awww poor baby. you know, Dr. Phil has episodes just like this:. she spoke into her mind softly. She ran off away from the beach, all the while creating another barrier for Lou to get through to reach her. searching the area, she found what she was searching for. two minds that would prove to be quite dangerous if things got bad for her. she walked calmly until she was near a small clearing of trees. she then turned and stared calmly into Lou's eyes with a smile that said "I'm going to win". She began digging thrugh her memories until she found something that could very well secure her victory here. .:aaah, Louise, but what do we have here?:. suddenly she ripped a memory from Lou's mind and brought it to the forefront of her conciousness. Lou and her father were in Egypt, standing in front of a sphynx, posing for a picture, just when the man's cell phone rings. After taking the call, he stares at his daughter with hateful eyes. .: awww daddy realized he had an unwanted little mutant FREAK!:. she shouted into the woman's ear. Digging deeper, she found memories of what she felt was some sort of accident. No matter how much she did, she couldn't get the specifics. She did, however, bring the memories of the pain and suspicions to the forefront, and using her powers, she made those feelings feel fresh. Smiling to herself, she was waiting to see if the woman would then quit. She now had memories of her past and another barrier to contend with, as well as the third thing she had just found. One thing was for damn sure.. She was a master strategist. "she smiled once again and called out "Come and get me Louise, you unwanted sack of shit." |

Lou ran blindly in the general direction toward Fate. Her head killed her and she didn't know how much more she could take. Any focus she had regained from declaring that she was use to the pain ebbed each time Fate called her 'Louise.' By now it was ever clear that this was a trap. By the second barrier all focus she had was gone. This time it didn't knock her over instead she charged right though it. That was the mistake. Her head seared with, if possible, more pain. Tears were now flowing free from the corners of her eyes and they were screwed up in an expression that reveled the fact they couldn't take much more of this. Yet she kept going, running after her attacker. ::You keep runnin'. Are ya afraid?:: She thought trying to provoke Fate into stopping. Running wouldn't win this for either of them. At last Fate seemed to have stopped. With new hope Lou began to charged faster still but it was all for nothing. Hateful eyes peered into her eyes. The desert air was arid but not bothering her as it would have today. .: awww daddy realized he had an unwanted little mutant FREAK!:. "I wasn't a mutant then I wouldn't be for three more years... Stop it," she begged falling to her knees. Both hands were now holding her dark haired head. All concentration lost. As though it hadn't bothered her Lou attempted to stand but the next memory played. It felt real the pain, the suspicion, however something else happened. ~He did it, he never wanted me,~ she thought though falling tears. The accident wasn't an accident it was planned, thought out by the only person her existence had meant. The battle would have ended there if an odd occurrence didn't happen. Though she was living her fear Fate would begin to live her own. It wouldn't be as powerful or as terrible but it wouldn't matter. With every restriction gone Lou allowed the air to drop around the two. Their breaths froze and slowly she stood with shaking knees thinking only one thing. ~If only... If only...~ |

This woman was definitely tough, that was for certain. She just would not fall... Luckily Fate had a few more tricks. Just as the woman fell to her knees Fate smiled. -it's finally over- she thought to herself. Lou held her hair and sobbed on the ground. She figured she had finally won. this game of cat and mouse had finally come to an end. Smiling, she readied a final assault. Suddenly, the temperature dropped. severely. She was freezing, and her knees were shaking as if she had been caught outside in Massachusetts in the dead of winter. She saw Lou staring at her, her breath coming in cold puffs that could only mean that she was also experienceing this phenomena. Suddebly the feelings of when she was a child resurfaced. The feeling of absolute loneliness, The helpless, lonely feeling she so detested. "stop it! what are you doing! no!!!" she shouted, Sinking to her knees, she felt the familiar sensations of loneliness wash over her. Tears threatened to flow from her eyes as she sat on the ground. How could this be? how could she, Fate, the master of fear projection, be bested by a mere... X-man? suddenly her adoptive father's voice filled her mind. "you're nothing but a no good mutie freak and I'll make sure you know your place in this world! now shut the fuck up and tell me a fortune you psychic tramp!" She closed her eyea and shook her head violently. "shut the hell up old man!" suddenly she opened her eyes and shook, but this time, not from cold, but from anger. No. She would not be beated. This... This woman shows up and threatens to defeat her using her own powers? she summoned all her physical strength and wrenched herseld up off the floor. She stood and stared at Lou. "You can't beat me! you piss me off, and now you are going to have to pay the oncsequences!" she released telepathic blasts at the woman to wweaken her mind. Before she even gave Lou a chance to react, she attacked her mind with the ferocity of an animal. She ripped a memory out of the dredges of her mind and ripped a memory to the forefront. she was at a concert. A boy lay on the floor in front of her, his sould having seemingly been sucked out of his body. The fear, the terror of that moment, Fate replayed for the woman Over and over again, without stop. She reached out and found the mind of the little "YOU CAN'T BEAT ME!!!!!" she shouted. "stop this you stupid woman!" she reached out and found the mind of the little boy, she began to tap into it, and smiled. her calm demeanor returning. If Lou stood up, Fate would make the little boy drown himself. She calmed down once again and stood silently watching the situation unfold. "come on Louise. attack me. I have a little surprise for you." |

((OOC: The posts below this may be slightly disturbing to the faint of mind. However it doesn't go past the PG-13 limit.)) For the briefest of seconds Lou had the upper hand. Fate was experiencing something she had never felt before, dead cold of winter with only bad memories to keep you company. She allowed herself to stand at full height and took a shaky step forward. Her bare feet were rubbed raw in a few areas and parts of the soles were bleeding. The pain ignored she continued toward the telepath one painful step at a time thinking, ~If only... If only...~ She was feet away from a rather surprised Fate. On her pale face she wore a look of desperation but barely concealed was a look of slight enjoyment. The only thing that the attacking mutant achieved by pulling bits of repressed memories from the recesses of her mind was to remove the one thing that kept her full potential at bay. Sheer will power prevented her powers to reach the maximum limits. The telepathic blast hit Lou with so much force that it caused head to shoot back as if a pulse wave had hit her. Pain had surpassed its limits before hand the only thing she felt now was abyss. Falling forward her body hit the sand. An outstretched arm fell a foot and half from the telepath's feet. It was over she had lost but there was more then one way to lose. Fingers began to dig into the sand as their owner was experiencing the worst memory her life collected. The concert brought to the front of her mind, the surprise and fear, the boy collapsed in the aisle. He's dead you killed him. You monster. A woman shouted pointing at her with deep hate. Though nothing more could be made out. It felt as though she too would die every ounce of her strength pushed her to almost crawl to the emergency exit. Cool night air, the sensation of falling, and finally of something carrying her off to a vehicle before passing out. That memory, though it replayed, pushed Lou's own mind to function by itself. It made the woman look up at the attacking mutant with eyes of one who had run out of options. Suddenly the pupils dilated completely giving off a haunted look. Pale hands pushed the dark haired woman off the sand. One step at a time she slinked forward reaching out with one hand. The pain she was feeling assimilated with the pain she felt lying on the ground outside the concert. Her hand was searching for the warmth of Fate's skin. With each step Lou slumped, it was clear that every ounce of strength was being used. Her fear projection jumped to the next level. The range decreased from everyone in her ten foot radius to the telepath alone. It began to play her most feared memory over and over again. Like Lou's as it was again started over. She reached with one last hope in unison with the boy of her past as he brushed her cheek. She made contact in the same exact spot on Fate's smooth face. A smile formed on her own as her head fell and rested on the telepath's shoulder. "Tell me how he feels," she uttered in her ear. |

Fate was beyond happy. She had won. After the telepathic blast hit Lou, the woman fell and hit the floor, obviously defeated. Fate gave the smallest of smiles and took half a step back before lou moved. The x-man stared up at Fate with black eyes. Her pupils had dilated to a size where they now took up her entire eye. Suddenly, Fate wasn't at the beach anymore. She was at her house with her adoptive father. She was tied to the bed, and could not get up, her father advanced on the bed and ripped off her clothes. she screamed, trying to lash out at him but it was no use. She felt the Severe pain as he entered her, and she screamed out in anger, helplessness, and humiliation. "NOO!!!!!" she heard herself screaming from far away. She wasn't in this place, she wasn't... her father then slapped her hard, her face stinging, she cringed and screamed once again. She concentrated as hard as she could. Slowly the image faded, she could now see Lou coming at her. Through the pain she was feeling from her fears and memories, she Commanded the boy to do as she had said. telepathically, she saw the boy, standing out on the edge of a small cliff. Turning, the boy shouted "Long live the brotherhood, long live mutants everywhere! Down with the homosapiens!" before throwing himself off the edge. She felt him schoking, sputtering. She felt as the life extinguished from his body. She had a millisecond of triumph before Lou Touched Fate. "Tell me how he feels," Her breath caught. She couldn't breathe. She couldn't think; she couldn't react. Slowly, the telepath's skin was draining of color. She was cold, and sherealized one thing: -I'm going to die. she thought to herself. Her limbs began to shake violently as she sank to her knees. Her journey was now going to come to a screeching halt. She would never again cause mayhem, never again breathe in the cool night air. She would never see her mother. -my mother. she thought as she began to black out. She couldn't lose that chance. She had spent years fighting for that chance, and she was not going to let it all go to shit because of some soul sucking mutant. She knew that she couldn't concentrate enough to enter Lou's mind. but what about her own? With the last of her strength, Fate linked both women's minds together. She opened her mouth and whispered in Lou's ear: "it's time to feel my pain." She pulled the biggest fears of all the people she had hurt, tortured, and gnereally attacked. Hundreds of memories, of rape, murder, loneliness, infidelity, Pain, remorse, guilt, sorrow, anguish, all flooded fate's mind. tears now flowed freely from her eyes. The memories were attacking both women, hurting the both. memories of a young girl screaming were overlapped by an old woman's pain as she lay in bed dying of cancer, which was overlapped by a father who watched his spouse get ran over, overlapped by a businessman who walked in on his lover with another man, overlapped by Fate getting raped as a child. ::this was my past:: fate thought to Lou. the memories were relentless, and overtook both women. The final memory that hit the pair struck with the freshness of what had just happened. A boy stood on a cliff and looked out at the beach, full of people frollicking and playing. He opened his mouth and shouted with all the volume he could muster. " Long live the brotherhood, long live mutants everywhere! Down with the homosapiens" before throwing himself off of a cliff, and landing in the water. Both women felt the ache in his lungs as he struggled for air, the thoughts that flooded his mind of his parents, his dogs, and his friends, before death took him. Fate aimed a thought at lou through all her pain. :: you fell for it. I spread the new gospel to the humans. I won:: she used the distraction, and with the last of her strength, she pushed Lou onto the floor. She stumbled backwards, and was released from Lou's powers. But the damage had been done. Fate was losing conciousness, and so was Lou. Neither had truly won. :: We shall meet again Lou, and next time we do, I'm taking you out:: Jfate turned and stumbled into the brush, she reached a clearing before she stopped, stared up at the sky, and smiled. The smile then turned into a sob, and Fate pitched forward onto the hard ground. Before she lost conciousness, she thought to herself -what have I done?- the memory of the boy flooded her thoughts, and then all went dark. |

Temperature manipulation/Life-force absorption/Fear projection

At the very last second before Fate's face made contact with her hand Lou felt a feeling of dread. Each time she used this ability, to suck out another's soul, it caused her great pain. Her body felt each and every ounce of life flow from a person's body into her own. Guilt, yes guilt was felt even for the telepath in her hands. If she held on, continued to drain her life she could die. "it's time to feel my pain." The soul-sucking mutant felt the forced breath of the telepath as she spoke forewarning. However she didn't resist it was punishment for what she was doing. The memories followed into her and tore away what was left of any unfolding hope. They were peoples’ worst moments living in everyday fear. The tears gushed from her pitiless eyes landing on the woman next to her. And yet it got worst seeing the past of the one causing these memories to be relived. If it were possible Lou began to feel sadness for her but nothing could prepare her for the next blast of remembrance. "No you didn't... That's what you meant..." The words were inaudible through the feeling of imminent death, of drowning, of agony. Her mind couldn't comprehend. It was her fault. The boy's death was her fault. Another soul lost under her watch. Without resistance she released Fate at the same time she was thrown off. Laying on the ground every nerve ending in her body searing as if her hand was repeatedly slammed into a vice grip. Pushing herself up she had one last thing to do. She needed to release the soul collected in her body. It helped her wobble to its owner removing the pain from the scratches of the birds and the soles of her feet. Lou stood over the unconscious telepath with a look of anger, blame, and her own guilt. She bent down hovering one hand over Fate’s body. She saw the beginning of tears glistening in her eyes. Remorse or not, Lou inhaled and exhaled. Though invisible the soul returned to the young woman at her feet. "No matter what cha done I pity you," the dark haired woman whispered as she got up and walked back the way she had come. Though the soul wasn't in her anymore her body was weakened beyond anything she had felt before. The familiar sensation of falling filled her being as panicked voices screamed. ~A child dead, gone, your fault,~ her unconscious mind thought. ~~Le Fini~~ |
