Faye was kinda curious about Mara now, he was sure he hadn't talked to her much before but she seemed to have known him well enough despite that. Maybe he was just not paying enough to the people that lived 'round him. After a few moments, he shrugged. "Hair grows, it'll be back eventually. I guess." He broke into an all-out smile when Eldan replied with 'brat yourself'. That was so mature. But still, Eldan was pretty young and rather stressed out all the time. He had so much responsibility. So many people depended on him it wasn't really fair. Of course he was rather snappish, he was almost constantly tense. Worrying about his 'family.' "I think half the people at home are terrified of me." Faye shook his head, and draped one arm 'round his friend's shoulder. "Eldan, they're more terrified for you than of you. If you take everything upon yourself, you're going to snap. You need some help 'round the place, you can't be everything and everywhere. And, well some of the security personnel are nervous around you, but they should be." He shrugged, not going into detail about that. The security had been lax recently, and now the Wraith was rather short with them. |

"My mood gets quite foul, I assure you," secretly, deep down, Magma was pleased to hear that someone else’s mood could be just as bad as hers. Heck, when she was really angry, she truly did resemble her namesake… she was Magma through and through. "I think half the people at home are terrified of me," nodding with an understanding he would either notice, or completely miss, Amara glanced towards the mansion gates. “Yeah, well, you haven’t seen me when I get angry… hot tempered really isn’t the word,” and managing a smile that clearly did not reach her eyes, for she was by far NOT pleased with that side of her personality, she began walking, reaching the gate with her new friends in tow several seconds later. "Eldan, they're more terrified for you than of you. If you take everything upon yourself, you're going to snap. You need some help 'round the place, you can't be everything and everywhere. And, well some of the security personnel are nervous around you, but they should be,” Amara’s eyes widened ever so slightly, kind of busy getting through the necessary security protocols to turn around and actually look upon Faye quite curiously. He may have been a naïve, overwhelmingly annoying brat at times, but wow, that was just proof he could actually act his age too. The sound of the gates swinging open brought Magma’s gaze back to the guys finally. “Okay, so, let’s go,” looking directly at Eldan, she couldn’t help but ask, “You actually coming in with us, or is this where the two of us,” and she motioned to Faye, “part ways?” |

Energy Manipulation / Wraith Form

Eldan tilted his head slightly, noticing Mara';s nod and suchlike reactions to his words. 'Yeah, well, you haven’t seen me when I get angry… hot tempered really isn’t the word.' The smile that did not reach her eyes... yes he noted that. Having a scorching hot temper wasn't that fun. Especially when one’s powers aren’t very controllable when one is emotional. He nodded, following her to the gate almost against his will. He did not want to get any closer. When Faye draped himself around him and spoke those thoughtful words, Eldan allowed himself to lean on his friend. Just momentarily. He closed his eyes and allowed himself to relax. Tried to believe Faye, but who would help him out without expecting something in return? The entire point... of what he was doing with his family, keeping them away from everyone, was so they wouldn't be involved in the power struggles. They were children, they shouldn't have to choose sides and be blamed for their choices, and he had no right to choose for them. He sighed quietly, when Mara asked if he was coming with them. "Sorry, no. I'll see you around..." he paused for a moment, and added serenely, "I can't stay away from home for long. I swear, the place would collapse without me..." or explode - his serenity was instantly gone ".. Oh no I hope Mikel didn't explode again, we just finished patching up that hallway...! Um, bye Faye, Mara." He vanished into the night. |

Several things probably went over Galadrien's head, unnoticed. He was hoping that his friend would hang out with them, but really didn't expect the guy to. Eldan just wasn't the type to hang out with friends. He was much more likely to lurk somewhere worrying about the people he cared about, trying to fix the world so that when they were older it'd be a safe place to live, and being clung to by a horde of children while being teased by his 'minions'. Faye was rather surprised when Eldan actually relaxed for a moment. Maybe there was some trust forming there. It made the redhead slightly uneasy. He wasn't dependable. Eldan knew that. But most of all, he was relieved that Eldan could relax for even a such a brief moment. He gave the darkling a little hug and let him go. He nodded glumy when Mara asked Eldan to join them and Eldan refused. When the dark haired wraith began to panic about Mikel, Faye opened his mouth to reassure his friend but Eldan was gone before he could form a single word. He sighed and shook his head, "Those kids have him wrapped around their little fingers. I swear they cause chaos just to make sure he sticks around longer." The words were out of his mouth and he almost regretted saying them. Shouldn't talk about the Eldraiths. Big secret... |

JP Magma & Faye ^^ What the… okay, so The Wraith didn’t even give her a chance to say goodbye;; and imagine, Eldan leaving Amara with the last thoughts of someone blowing up where he lived. Lovely. She’d be worried out of her brain until she saw him again to verify that hadn’t actually happened. "Those kids have him wrapped around their little fingers. I swear they cause chaos just to make sure he sticks around longer," raising her eyebrows a little, Magma simply nodded, “Sounds like it,” she agreed, turning to walk up the driveway. “Didn’t even give us a chance to actually say a proper goodbye, and now I am going to worry about whether that Mikel actually did blow something up until the next time I see him,” it was clear by her tone she was just mildly annoyed. "Don’t worry about it," Faye said a little cheerfully and not at all irritated or concerned, following along in her wake. He was far too used to Eldan to get annoyed about such a minor thing. "Mikel just has a tendency to spontaneously combust and reform… happens all the time. The latest thing to go was the tree house. I think Eldan has some sort of idea that the kid generates a lot of energy and has no way to expend it in the quantities he generates so he just goes ‘splodey." The red haired seer shrugged. "Eh, and I’ll text El later to check up on him if yeah want. Or better yet, I can have Riker, Wren, or Bazie chew him out for us. Hmm. Wren. She’s the only one who’d actually do it…" Magma suddenly stopped, “Exactly who are these people? Names I have never heard of…” she clicked then, “Oh, are those last three the ones that were with him before I… um…” she paused, “well, you know, the earthquake thing?” Yep, there it was, the guilty feeling for using her powers to gain some sort of revenge, no matter how minor… ~Damn you Xavier!~ well, not really, but still. "You didn't!" and thus Faye began giggling. While he wouldn't call it that, it could only be truthfully described as giggling. "Yes, those three are Eldan's minions, or at least that's what I call them, and now he accidentally says it sometimes, they think it's hilarious..." he shrugged, smiling. "Other than them and a group that lives in the security house - because the kids drive 'em up the wall - there's just a bunch of kids. I really ... have no idea how many... I'm not sure if Eldan does either." Frowning, Amara looked straight at Faye, “And who exactly looks after these kids, just Eldan, or are there other older teens there, any adults? I mean, you make it sound like he’s got a horde under his wing;; I’d be more than happy to help him out if he needs it. I am sure you’ve seen how I am around younger ones… take Andy and Alexia for instance… those two can barely be without me,” she grinned, winking at him as she began walking again. “I’m just saying, if he needs help, I’m offering mine.” Who looked after them? Well, they did for the most part, keeping an eye out for the younger ones. "A… horde? Well, for the younger ones, there’s just Drindle, the triplets, Mikel, Stacie, Tas, and a little girl I really don’t think has a name…" he frowned. "Most of ‘em are younger teens and preteens, and they keep an eye out for the younger ones. It's difficult to keep track of the older ones though.. Eldan sees a stray kid and he takes ’m home, whether they’re a mutant or not. I know there oughta be adult supervision… but its not too bad there. I think Eldan’s terrified someone’s going to mess his little family up, so he doesn’t dare ask for help. Since he already knows you, kinda, it shouldn’t be too difficult to convince him…" He wouldn’t see it, but the smile that spread across her face couldn’t have been happier. She loved kids, always had, completely opposite to Kitty, who, well, liked them, but found them very irritating when they got in the way of her computer work. Can’t concentrate with young ones talking her ear off after all. “Well, as long as everyone is happy and healthy it doesn’t really matter who’s looking after them,” Amara admitted, stopping as they finally reached the front door. “Just, you know, I’d like to get to know…” she paused, “well, him, and you, abit better, and since that is so much a part of Eldan’s life…” her words trailed off. Would he get what she was trying to tell him? Did she even know what she was trying to say here? Of course Faye had no idea what she was trying to tell him. Perhaps he wasn’t the most clueless person in the mansion but it was close. He had a hard time believing that anyone would like him. Well, after spending a half hour with him. If they still were ‘interested’ they must only be interested in is looks ‘cause his personality wasn’t that great - he knew he was an annoying pest. Thing was, to Magma, it hadn’t just been half an hour;; Faye had no idea how Amara quietly sat back and ‘watched’ each member of the mansion, just simply observed them, in all kinds of different settings, including ones like these if she got the chance. Those that interested her the most, she’d watch more;; and eventually, try to see if their personalities gelled enough to form a friendship. With Faye;; and yes, after only this half an hour, Amara honestly wanted more, yet, should that chance never arise, fine… didn’t mean she couldn't hope, ponder, and fantasize.
