Time of day: Evening, eight-ish.
Place in the time-line: January 31st, 3-4 weeks after 'Photoshopping Friends'. About fourteen days before Jean and Scott's wedding ^w^

Relaxing shouldn't be so difficult. Really. It was nice to be able to lay back and just... rest. Unfortunately, that wasn't easy for the over-energetic regen known as Kelrian. Or Kelly to his more teasing friends but that was beside the point. The point was that the blond teenager was sprawled out on the couch in the boy's lounge, half asleep. As he never slept, unless he really messed himself up, that was quite unusual. Relaxing, Kel decided, was nice. It'd be nicer if he didn't have to completely exhaust himself to be able to do so, though. He went shopping for the upcoming dinner for his rescuers, like he'd planned... almost a month ago. He hadn't procrastinated, he just... lost track of time.

He had everything situated, now, though. He was going to cook on friday; he'd sent out the invites, though he hadn't given reason for the dinner. Faye had commented that his friend probably wouldn't come unless he went to get him himself, as he was hypnotized by the video games he'd been recently introduced to. On friday night, he'd make them some delicious italien food -his favorite type to cook- and that'd probably be that. He really wasn't all that into talking about what had happened. He just wanted everyone to know he was okay, and apprieciated what they had done for him.

He didn't really want to think of that now, though. Not when he was feeling all sleepy. Staring, dazed, at the ceiling. How in the world had he managed to deal with his little energy issue? He ran until he was stumbling over his own feet, and then made his way back to the Institute... by the time he got back he was drained enough to rest. Of course, it wouldn't last long, and he'd have to go raid the kitchen soon or he'd probably end up in the infirmary again. Stupid powers. All he wanted was a nap.

Place in the time-line: Over a month since 'Chilly Contemplation' ... and one day after Ran & Lyn's sixteenth birthday.

Usually Ran and Lyn were off in their own little world. It was so easy to forget everyone else, everything else, when the one person in the world that really cared about you resided in the same body as you. However, today was... different. They looked... sad... hurt... and worried. They had stayed to themselves, avoiding people all day. They noticed one of their almost-friends napping on the couch as they came into the student lounge, and settled into one of the comfy chairs. Clutched in their hands was a slim black cell phone. Every few moments grey eyes glanced at it, but of course there was no messages. Nothing.

Strangely enough, it was Randal that was a mess about their parents forgetting their birthday, while Lyndal comforted him. Lyn was used to being forgotten, after all their parents had insisted that he was dead and was a figment of Ran's imagination for most of his life. Ran, however, was used to being doted on, especially on their birthday. All day yesterday, he'd waited for a call at the very least. And still, nothing, and the day after their birthday was almost over.

~Maybe... we should call them...?~ Lyn finally asked rather than suggested to his twin. He didn't want to call them only to find out that they had forgotten, but what if something was wrong? What if ... what if their little brother was hurt or sick, or their parents...?

Kelrian stared at the ceiling sleepily, content in his exhaustion. His eyes closed of their own accord. He actually dozed for a short while. After a while, though, he felt... someone else was in the room. It wasn't any sort of super sense, it was just... a feeling. So, the now-wakeful blond shifted to look, and fell off the couch. He landed on the floor with a surprised 'oof', legs still on the couch. He lay sprawled on the floor like that for a few moments, before glancing up.

He immediately spotted the ginger on the nearby chair. "Heya Ran, Lyn, how's it going?" he asked from his place on the ground. After a few moments, he pulled his legs down, and got comfortable on the floor. He didn't feel like getting up, but laying with his legs up in the air wasn't anything like comfortable. A second look told him that the twins weren't doing so good. Not at all. Kel pushed himself up into a sitting position, looking up at his friend before asking, "... heya, is something wrong?"

Randal and Lyndal were startled out of their moping and thoughts when the blond teen fell off the couch for no apparent reason. "Are... are you alright?" Lyn asked, just before Kel asked nonchalantly how it was going. Ran snorted slightly. Kelrian was being so... Kel. "We're fine, Kelrian," Ran said, belatedly. "Just a little out of sorts."

((closing thing x_x no one joining and.. eh, I need to get to the dinner thread -___- ... unless, someone wants to join, that'd be fine..))
