Time of day: April 5 Place in the time-line2 days before Rosie is officially adopted Let's see what was missing? It was beautiful hot and balmy day in early April. It was perfect blue skies really you couldn't beat it at all. By the pool the scenery was more than perfect. Now it's a thing when random episodes of M.A.S.H help plan your day but the idea way of boy watching was indeed made by the two young girls with proper inspiration. Now this wasn't random latrine digging watch more like a at the pool special after classes and in bikinis to aid the effect. Cold drinks of course. Icy drinks as a must! Glancing out the window she noticed the boys their age were in the pool and oh yeah they were all the hot ones. No girl wondered around the pool area in fear of getting soaked. She snickered as she tied the bathing suit cover around her waist and grabbed a towel to lie on. Her eyes meet her a hayseed that he knew better then not to say it, "Ya ready," She giggled before wondering down to the kitchen with her thin stomach bearing the six pack that she worked hard to get. Moving to unheard music she grinned wildly as she started to make icy treats with added lime, kiwi and strawberry on the side of a martini glass. Scott is going to have a fit. Oh well, Setting her sunglass on her bright brown eyes that laughed with the vigor of life. Bumping hips gently with Paige she moved to door and noticed the CD player on the counter. "Hey, grab that, Paige," he ordered knowing well enough they could have a lot of fun watching the guy swim. |

Paige grinned, following her friend into the kitchen. She slung a soft pink towel over her shoulder and spread the last light spritz of peach-scented sun lotion on her arm. As she rubbed it in, they walked through to the kitchen. "'Am I ready'..." she scoffed, trying to think back to the last time she'd allowed herself to really let go. She was so glad their only objectives were to flirt and spot hotties...and here at the Xavier Institute it wasn't exactly mission impossible. Paige watched with a sparkle in her eyes as Jubilee prepared the drinks. She hadn't hung out with a friend for so long. She'd had the occasional movie nights in with her mother, but this was definitely what she needed. Some boy-watching therapy. "Jubilation Lee, is there alcohol in that?" She opened her mouth and eyes in mock shock, her Kentucky drawl coming out in full. She was in great company, and knew she should stop trying to hide her accent anyway. From force of habit, she cleared the debris into the palm of her hand and swept it into the bin. It was automatic, having looked after her numerous siblings. She glanced down at her black bandeau-top bikini, making sure all her tan-lines were in order. "I am so ready." She tied a sarong round her slim hips and grabbed the CD-player as she left the kitchen, flip-flops slapping against her heels. |

Jubilee looked at her friend and laughed, “Ohh? No. I could only wish. Wolverine didn’t have any vodka.” She gave her huge grin that could only help her short coming in the department. Snickering she laughed trying to balance and hold on to the rinks without spilling then as they moved to the pool. Jubilee found herself not minding the Paige was spending time with her mother and sibling when they were here. Who cares? Paige’s mother is awesome and probably the most loving woman on the face of the planet. No one with a shred of a heart could hate her mother. Looking down at her right side he noticed how her bright suit beamed off her pale skin. The yellow suit was pretty with the black flowers dotting the bikini. She looked at Paige as she snatched the boom box and grinned at the thoughts of the guy panning over then at the pool. Oh yeah baby! Paige would probably want in on thought but they didn’t have palm branches at the school. Getting to the pool Jubilee grinned and placed her towel on pool chair and looked over the boys in the water. Yummy! She turned to Paige and grinned wildly, “I think we might need a fan. They are hotter closer up!” Sliding on her chair she placed the drinks down on table in between two chairs. “So what station? Or who are you like claiming?” |

In his head, Jason knew this place wasn't really an average boarding school. Great lengths had been gone to to make it feel like that, but with this many mutants concentrated in one place how could it really be safe? It was so strange to see the other kids though. Some of them had no idea how much they were hated and feared. Lucky them, Jason thought. Some people in his position would feel it was their duty to make sure that they knew, but ignorance can be bliss, especially when you're 13 years old. Let them wait a few years. One of the "normal" things that was here was a pool. Jason had just arrived, but he was eager to spend his first moment of free time here. He didn't particularly like to swim, but he did like the scenery. Girl scenery, specifically. It was nice to have some real down time and Jason was rather fixated on spending it lying in the sun doing absolutely nothing. Just for a little bit lie there, don't think about the police or Shield or his parents or school. Stare at the sky and think about the clouds. Jason was just about to get up and go to the diving board when he noticed some people coming. He shifted his eyes to see who was coming. Very nice he thought to himself. A boom box was in their hand, as were drinks of some variety. They actually appeared to be setting up near him, although he wasn't surprised that they didn't notice him. He was lying very still. Well, you have to make friends sometime, right? What better place to start? They were only a couple of chairs down and so he was pretty sure they could hear them. "Do girls ever swim, or do they just like to wear swimsuits?" he asked jokingly, "Not that I'm complaining, of course." he added to let them know that he wasn't really criticizing them. |
