“It truly is extraordinary.” Synch stated still looking around like a child in a candy store. The world seemed to come alive for him for the very first time and now he could not imagine seeing it any other way. With this new added ability it felt as though he was seeing the true essence of the world and he’d been living in a dream or nightmare. As Chris had omitted it was beyond words. “You see like this all the time?” Synch asked distracted by the display of colour and new shapes in the world. “I can’t imagine seeing anything the same again after this.” For sure Synch was in awe of this attraction but sooner or later he would tire of it and the novelty would wear thin. Unlike Chris he was not one for substance or depth. Synch was accustomed and actually liked the world he lived in, even the grim and dirt that was now hidden from him but Chris’s powers. As much as this illusion enticed him Everett subdued the active power making his eye sight shift back to normal. He blinked rapidly not from the power itself but rather from the sudden shift in the spectrum he’d quickly grown used too. Now that the world returned to normal he missed the ever present mirage that Charisma always saw. Still the colours seemed brighter and shapes seemed clearer somehow. “I don’t know if I could walk around like that all day. It would probably give me a headache within a few hours. You do have a very unique perspective I will give you that.” Synch moved his gaze back to see Charisma as she should be. Still attractive and very alluring. Synch sipped his water lightly for a moment to wet his suddenly dry throat. |

Chris beamed as she saw the expression on his face, he was seeing it, the brilliant colors and the way it made regular, everyday things glorious in their own way. It was this more then anything that had molded her morals. You couldn't help but appreciate things when they all had their own beautiful light. She wanted to show hims some of her favorite things, trees, a park full of trees, the way rain made everything glitter, the light dancing down from the moon. She'd had all her life to see all these spectacular things, and she wanted to share them with some one. “You see like this all the time? I can’t imagine seeing anything the same again after this.” Chris nodded her head, “All the time, in fact I've never seen another way. This part of my power developed when I was first born, I've seen this way as long as I can remember.” Chris shrugged but she couldn't stop smiling, this was so cool, she'd always had this secret, sure she could try and explain what she saw to people but it wasn't the same thing, but now some one knew, they could see all she saw. “I don’t know if I could walk around like that all day. It would probably give me a headache within a few hours. You do have a very unique perspective I will give you that.” She chuckled, she supposed that if it was his first time it would be... a little different, after all she'd experienced this all her life. It did have it;s perks though, she could sort of see in the dark, well the auras of things anyway, then again it did make sleeping a little dificult. |
