Thanks to Cbox shenanigans, we have been forced to consider the potentially awesome, hilarious, and disturbing idea that is XMR TV shows. I appologize in advance for any mental injury that may result from the images inspired by the following nonsense. The Real World: Mutation This is the real story of a bunch of mutants forced to live under one roof. They're from different factions, and as is now expected from the scumbags that run this show. . . they all have very strong personality flaws that don't mix. I can't remember the entire cast from the Cbox conversation, but here are some possiblities. If I've missed you, and you want a chance to be on the show ;), say somethin'. Static- The shy one that turns out to be a raging beeotch/skank with a drug/alcohol problem. Magneto- The obvious jerk that gets along "really well" with Static. Deadpool- Comic relief and pure awesomeness Iceman- Whore Gambit- A more charming whore Angel- Still charming and whore-like Dust- The religious girl that eventually snaps Wiccan- The token gay Mutant Idol/XMR-Factor Some of us just shouldn't sing, but isn't that the case with "talent" shows these days? Most of the fun is that the contestants have no talent! *In the casting process* Mutiemon Pokemon would be a lot better if we were catching kick-butt mutants instead of stupid animals that are rarely even that cool (Diglet. . . eugh). I CHOOSE YOU, WOLVERINE! . . . Feel free to pitch a new show. We're going to take over the world with these amazing new ideas. I think XMR should have it's own network. ;) |

Time: 12:54pm Date: Three days After X-Babies When Alex told her about the vacation they were going on to a tropical island, Jet Black was all for it! The two agreed that instead of buying tickets to the island it’d be cheaper, and all around better, if a few members of X-Factor learned how to fly a plane. But there was a problem: no one on the team who knew how to fly any sort of aircraft. With some talking, and begging, the two that were decided to go to the X-Mansion and learn was Julio Rictor and herself. The blonde made her way in and was told to meet with Scott, who she had met (still sort of unofficially) a few times before. The first time he was ShadowX. The second time a bar fight had broken out. And the third time she was five years old. Now this time she’d be asking for flying lessons. She had (again unofficially) raced Julio to the mansion, beating him there. She found the door that was described to her and looked around. Jet didn’t know how to get in and there was no one from the X-Men to let them in. The Silver mutant lowered her eyebrows and stared at the door. It would seem silly but she had to try anything. Jet lifted her hand and knocked on the door. Perhaps before the door opened Rictor would catch up and they could learn how to fly an aircraft. “Hello?” |

The Danger Room door slid open and Scott was revealed, looking critically at an airplane, incongruously set in the middle of a huge room. He stood a a control panel on a raised podium, tapping some keys. As Jet entered, she'd see that the plane shifted its configuration, the wings lengthening and the single nose propeller becoming twin engines. "Much better," he said. He didn't glance at Jet as she entered, instead, simply saying, "Welcome, Miss Black to the Danger Room. I'm very happy to have you here. I haven't had the opportunity to teach much flight, recently. Most of the students are far more interested in learning to drive a car than fly a plane and with my Cessna still stranded in the Savage Land Ice Caves, it's been a while since I've gotten to fly for the pure joy of flying." The hard light hologram finished its shaping into a perfect replica of a Cessna 406, down to the last nut and bolt and Scott looked at Jet, pleased. "The Reims-Cessna 406a, Length: 11.89 meters, Wingspan: 15.09 meters, Height: 4.01 meters. Maximum speed: 283 mph. Service ceiling: 30,000 ft. A beautiful plane, better built, newer model than my Kathy by several years but I still miss my poor girl." He managed a small smile and said, "So, Mr. Richtor will be joining us, soon, I trust? Tell me about this vacation Alex is taking you on. I can't remember the last vacation I took, my honeymoon I suppose." |

The doors slide open and made Jet jump. She saw the man with red glasses looking at an aircraft. She had to admit the scene that was in front of her was pretty damn cool. The X-Men Bossman fiddling away on a podium causing the aircraft to change. Her jaw dropped in a wide smile. Scott welcomed her to ‘the Danger Room’, which quite frankly the name sounded like bad news, and talked about the Cessna the type of plane that they were going to fly. With a chuckle she replied to him, “Well kids these days… they don’t know how completely cool it is to fly a plane. Or without one, for that matter.” The blonde went to stand along side Scott and he had given her a pleased look, she made her smile. Jet listened as he described the plane, he seemed just as excited as she was. "So, Mr. Rictor will be joining us, soon, I trust? Tell me about this vacation Alex is taking you on. I can't remember the last vacation I took, my honeymoon I suppose." The blonde looked in awe and nodded. ANd with pride in her voice she spoke, “Yea Ric’s coming, I… heh, I beat him here.” She gave off a mild laugh that died down when she looked back at Scott and cleared her throat. Speaking in a calm regular voice, and nixing the pride, she continued, “Ric should be here in a bit.” The blonde mutant looked back up to the aircraft and continued, “Bossman… Alex says that it’s this private island or something. Ya know how like movies stars rent out whole island for vacations or weddings and not be bothered by paparazzi? Well it’s sorta the same. Alex thinks if we vacation where ever there are people, we’d most likely find trouble. Can’t say I don’t disagree with him.” Jet took a deep breath and continued, “So, little private island, sunny beach, cool waters, and all on Mutant Airlines via me and Ric.” She looked back down to Scott and smiled, “We agreed it’d be better for a few of us to learn how to fly, and here we are.” |

Vacation was the exact sort of thing that Julio needed. He loved X-Factor, his work, and everything he stood for, but he was longing for a vacation. Simply hearing the words seemed to put his mind at ease and take away his stress. It was decided that they would be flying, and Julio jumped at the opportunity to learn how. Learning to fly was something that he had wanted to do for a long time; he just never had the resources or opportunity to do. While on the way Jet decided to make everything a game and sped off racing him to the mansion. He started to join in, but as soon as he got his speed up the two vehicles Jet maneuvered around slowed down and he was unable to pass. Julio lost sight of her after a while and continued at his own pace. There was no sense in risking wrecking when they were both going to wind up at the same place; especially when a 2008 Jeep was probably no match for a 1974 Challenger. Some time later Julio finally arrived at the Mansion. He saw Jet’s car parked in the shade reflecting its surrounding on its shiny coat. He didn’t know how long she had been here, but he guessed it couldn’t have been too much earlier. After he parked he was met and shown to the Danger Room where Jet and Scott were. “Sorry I’m late,” Julio said, “but apparently someone has a lead foot. I hope I didn’t keep you waiting too long.” |

“Bossman… Alex says that it’s this private island or something. Ya know how like movies stars rent out whole island for vacations or weddings and not be bothered by paparazzi? Well it’s sorta the same. Alex thinks if we vacation where ever there are people, we’d most likely find trouble. Can’t say I don’t disagree with him.” Jet said and Scott had to smirk at her nickname for his brother. "Bossman, hmm, I imagine Alex likes that more than he should," Scott said, striving for disapproval but not able to keep the note of fond pride out of his voice. Alex had really turned his life around since their first disastrous reunion in the mall and the fact that these two were here to learn how to fly on his behalf only showed that he was becoming a leader, which was just... well, he was a Summers, after all. Ric entered then and apologized for being a little late, and Scott looked at Jet, "I don't think you are so much late as Miss Black was a bit early. Well, this vacation sounds wonderful for you all, a team building exercise as well, I suppose. It's always so difficult for large groups of people to work together, particularly when there are such diverse personalities and the added difficulty of the nature of our particular life style. It is never easy to be a mutant and to be a mutant who has to deal with other mutants... I'm sure X-Factor is no different in that respect from the X-Men. I'm assigning a detail to patrol Mutant Town while you're gone so that should take a load off your mind." He turned to the air craft and said, "Let's get started, shall we? This is the Reims-Cessna 406a, a sixteen seat double engine air craft that will be X-Factor's personal plane, from what I've been told. Small size, but a quick little craft. Not as attention drawing perhaps as my Blackbird, but then, you're a different sort of team. We need the giant dramatic entrance, X-Factor is much more a down to earth sort of team, this should serve you just fine for now, I think. First things first, I am going to teach you the basics of maintenance, standard, preventative and emergency, and get you comfortable with the craft before we get you behind the stick. Sound good?" |

"Bossman, hmm, I imagine Alex likes that more than he should," Jet laughed, she knew all too well. Having recalled a few times Alex calling himself that very nickname. She sighed as she replied, "Yea, probably. But I like callin' him that, not to mention it’s already caught on. My goal is to get everyone to call him ‘Bossman’ at least once before Christmas.” The blonde added in a small chuckle, it wasn’t a real goal of hers but it would have been awesome it if came true. But she doubted Pietro would ever do so. A familiar voice was heard from behind, turning her head to see Rictor just now coming in made Jet beam from ear to ear. "Sorry I'm late, but apparently someone has a lead foot. I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long." The blonde rolled her eyes and gave a small chuckle. Scott spoke about how Ric might not have been late and how they were going to send a detail to patrol Mutant Town and the Silver mutant replied, “Ah Ric’s just a sore loser.” She stuck out her tongue to her team mate and winked. The X-Men leader told them about what they were going to learn first. Jet stared at him trying her best to catch up with what he was saying. She thought in her head, “Scotty sure is smart…” Scott finished, “Sound good?" The blonde took a small sigh and replied, “Um... yea. Sounds good to me.” She gave a not so reassuring smile and hoped he would go slower when teaching them than when he was explaining it. Hopefully both of them could learn enough not to crash in the first flight. They had quite a few weeks to learn… how bad could it really be? It wasn’t rocket science after all. |

“Ah Ric’s just a sore loser.” Jet said sticking her tongue out at him. Rictor didn't like to think of himself too much of a sore loser. Sure he hated to lose, but could accept the fact. He usually gave a reason to why he lost. For instance, he didn't want to wreck and get killed, or he let Jet win. That didn't make him a sore loser did it? It was either than or the fact that Jet got one up on him; most likely both. However, he knew she was joking, and smiled in reply. Julio listened as Scott spoke about the vacation, and sending people to patrol Mutant Town while they were gone. It was good to know. He was concerned that their leaving might leave be an open door for trouble. Scott began telling the model of the plane and other specs. Indeed it was not the largest of planes, but it offered plenty of room and no doubt was comfortable enough. If not he had sat through more uncomfortable positions than an airplane seat. "I am going to teach you the basics of maintenance, standard, preventative and emergency, and get you comfortable with the craft before we get you behind the stick. Sound good?" Scott said very professor like. Julio stared and nodded. He didn't think that he would have too much trouble keep up and understand the mechanics. The way Scott spoke he seemed to be very wise and knowledgeable about planes. Julio was looking eager to get started. |

^ Excellent suggestions. In the Cbox it was also decided that Ms. Static is going to go on Jerry Springer to find out who her baby's daddy is. :P I think she may have her own VH1 dating show as well. |
