Thanks you guys!

Well, for me, the most important thing was finding out that I had to put in a leave in conditioner before using a gel or whatever hair product you prefer. Sometimes I try to get the fancy expensive stuff like Miss Jensen or Kinky Curly. However, if you just get a spray bottle and mix in water with any conditioner that works too.

Super expensive doesn't mean quality, I've learned. Like the Jelly Soft Curls isn't worth it and it costs around $29 at Target. I also have the Pantene Gel for Curly hair and it's meh. I do however, really like argan oil and shea butter line by Organix. I use the curl enhancing yogurt as a leave in conditioner sometimes, because it smells pretty. If not, I'll just use a spray bottle with water and conditioner.

I also have to scrunch my hair. Lastly, you can't wash it everyday. I wash it every other day and it makes a difference.

As for my picks? Today I just used the spray bottle with the Fructis gel. When its super frizzy, I like the Organix line, but even humidity can puff my hair out, so you learn to love it and I carry around thick elastic bands in case of a curly hair emergency.

If the leave in conditioner trick doesn't work then have her try this Shea Moisture Product:

As a side note I don't like the smell of it, but people LOVED the way it smelled and always commented on how pretty my hair smelled with that stuff.

I have a picture below of the stuff I use and experimented with, like the Jelly Soft Curls. Again, not worth it, too expensive. Curls is nice, but pricey too. As is Shea Moisture. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of kinky curly, but their leave in conditioner is awesome.

Hope this helps! If there is ever a question about a product PM me. Either I tried it or my sister has. Her curls are not as wound up as mine, but between the two of us we've made the curl styling industry rich with all the different products we've bought to test out.

THIS IS AWESOME THANK YOU. And totally understandable, no worries. My sister and her hair have a hate/hate relationship, so I'm going to try and hunt down at least one of those products. Hopefully she will use them.

Also, you should consider blogging this stuff. The internet would thank you.

Congratulations, buddy! Losing weight takes a lot of hard and dedication and you can definitely tell that it is paying off. I commend you for having the motivation to make it this far and I hope you remain inspired to continue further until you've reached your goal. Smile wide because you have earned it. I am proud of you, Dean.

Mutton Chops of Awesome
Time to join this shindig...

A few months ago me and a couple of my buddies enjoyed a little culture. You can tell I really class any joint up. I'm the hairy latin beast in the far left.

A couple of months ago I quickly leaned into the shot to make this good photo a great one. If you look closely you can see my Shaw chops under all those curls. (man, I miss those)

Me and one of my BFFs waiting for the limo ride to a wedding. No more long hair and no more mutton chops. :( If only my fancy Deathly Hallows pocket-watch made it into the photo. You can sort of see it hanging around my neck if you squint.

And as an added treat I wanted to share a little weight loss story of my own. 7 months ago I looked like this...

Actually add 20 to 30 more pounds unto that frame since this picture is much older than seven months ago.

After much sweat and a lot of pain I now I look like this...

Sorry for the glare but I wanted one with the stacks of fire hazards lying nearby. This is also one of my most recent photos of just me going solo and I figured I already shared enough photos of people you don't know. Under 6 months I lost over 130 pounds and I have to tell you that I never felt better. It was difficult and often times trying but I persevered. Anyways, this is me and a lot of my friends. I don't really take selfies but a recent study suggests that maybe I should.
