Date: October 7th Time of Day: Around 4PM Tag: Bobby ----------------------------------------------- The curriculum in Laurie's new school has had her running around like a madwoman. As if it weren't hard enough to have to adjust to a new school with new professors and new curriculums, she had been forced into a school project that had her dealing with a boy in class. How insanely opportune (or coincidental) that Laurie's project was to get to know her classmate inside and out. She pondered if her teacher had been informed of how socially awkward Laurie was, and thus making a school project of getting to know someone in October instead of when school had began. So, with notebooks lined up and post-it notes for smaller notes, she waited for Bobby, tapping her pencil on the table. In a scale of one to ten in excitement about the project, Laurie was below a zero. Of all the topics to discuss, it had to be getting to know someone. What was she supposed to say? "My dad was a multi-billion dollar psychopath that my mom had to run away from because he had the same mutant powers as me which he had used against her and now he's trying to find me so he can turn me into his little assistant... the end." Well that didn't sound very appealing. So with heart racing out of nerves, she waited on a table in the library when she realized... "Oh, shoot," she exclaimed. She realized that she had told Bobby to meet her in the library, but forgot to mention exactly where. Looking around she had just noticed that it was two stories high and as big as a shopping mall. With a sigh, she buried her face in her notebook, unaware that someone was coming closer to her. |

Bobby was due to meet Laurie, new girl, a little younger than him, cute too. But that’s not what his mind was on. Since the concert almost two weeks ago he had bought an inhalant that held the drug KICK. When he got it, he rationalized using it to feel stronger, better, a sort of ‘life is so good’ feeling. When the iced mutant found out about Lorna and Alex’s deaths he felt absolutely terrible. KICK helped, it helped a lot. He felt like he could use a hit of it right then. Nothing against Laurie but he felt a bit antsy. The Iceman was biting his thumb nail when he entered the library. He saw the young blonde girl burying her face when he walked quietly toward her. Bobby put his hand down and took the last few steps sneaking up behind her. The iced mutant made a small hissing sound and poked the side of her shoulder. “Sss” After she made her reaction, he spoke, “Whoa… Laurie? Sorry I’m late. I may be good with numbers but this pretty face can’t tell time apparently.” A small joke to lighten the mood, although Bobby couldn’t take his mind off getting another hit of KICK. [ooc: sorry for my delay] |
