"I am Violey Vistagraph. There are a few who know me only by Ventus," Violey said returning his smile. When Wither introduced himself, Violey picked up a tone difference in his voice. This happened when he mentioned a school. To her current knowledge there was only one school that would give mutants pseudonyms. To make sure her assumption was correct she asked, "You were dubbed 'Wither' by a school. By chance is this school known as Xavier's?" Violey had been a student at Xavier's for two years. She was recruited to X-factor at Scott and Jean's wedding. Their first anniversary just passed on Valentine's Day. Her time there wasn't anything special. By default, a better understanding of her abilities was learned. Yet, Violey's initial reason for coming to America had been for schooling. She saw her time attending the institute as a way to finish this. She didn't know how Wither would react to her question. It wouldn't be a lie to say she wanted to know how he had viewed the school. Many young mutants had passed through the mansion's door during her tenure. Some, like her, left. More students would arrive to fill the empty beds, and so on. Unlike some, she would visit on occasion. One of her good friends still attended there despite her schooling being over as well. A single guess could be his not liking it; but why would be what she wanted explained. "The curiosity I 'ave for why you are up on the roof so late is growing," she said. "I would also like to request to know more about your destruction," she added. The tone of her voice moved for nice and calm to being a bit demanding. A tone of authority had also been added, slightly, under her words. |
