Descending into Madison’s quarters Julio was surprised to find Shane and Violey instead. He wondered if they were hear for the same reason he was. He was puzzled to hear Madison may have been missing for over a week which was very uncharacteristic. Rictor thought about it and, though Madison was the quiet type, he too never knew of a time for him to leave unexpectedly for an extended period of time. It was especially bothersome because the security may have been going on the fritz.

Violey and Shane greeted him though Shane was a bit flirtatious. When Rictor first met him he was surprised at how open and outspoken Shane was. Shane was the one who gave him the nickname “Mr. Vibrator,” and luckily Shane was the only one who occasionally referred to him by that name. “Something is wrong with Ilsa, too?” Rictor said walking over to the computer terminal

He didn’t even know why he went to examine it. He was the farthest thing from a computer genius. He wouldn’t know what buttons to press and what was normal and what was abnormal. He would most likely do more harm than good anyway. "Do you, by chance, know if machines can become sad? If they can do you know what to do to cheer them up?" Violey asked.

Rictor looked over his shoulder and cocked an eyebrow; Rictor had an idea. Violey didn’t realize it but perhaps she had stumbled onto the solution. Stepping between them he kneeled down and cradled Ilsa’s in his hand. Rictor studied her behavior a bit longer and softly set her head back down and stood with his hands at his side. “Have you two never had a dog before?” Rictor asked, “I could be wrong, but when Madison built Ilsa he gave her an artificial intelligence to be just like a dog. Have neither of you left your pet alone for an extended period of time, and when they saw you again weren’t they the happiest things? She’s just missing her master. When Madison returns she’ll be back to herself.”
