So new Emma on the block, I kinda left her last few months open ended on where she was, I got pretty lost in the whole apocalypse thing, so I dont know if the previous Emma had any involvement at all in it. Either way I guess Emma is kind of in limbo until I get her reintroduced into the site, so if anyone has any ideas on what she was up too during her hiatus. (worse comes to worse i'll just say she went to keep an eye on Frost International keeping her assets under control during the attacks) but I would like something else that forced her to abandon the X-Men not just leaving just because. Or I can just retcon the whole thing and say she was just standing around looking pretty, not really sure. And as far as all that goes if anyone else is interested in doing anything else once she does get back into full swing I am all ears right now. (except from Sam Guthrie) |

I know Kenneth would like to talk to her a bit if you're interested. She's listed as one of his squad leaders and also has a jewel-coating ability like him... which is actually why he'd like to speak with her. |

June 2nd 2009 6:00pm The city was a place of unrest. Ever since the “Mutant Wars” as some news outlets have dubbed it. People were uneasy. While things seemed to be back to normal there still that elephant in the room about what do with all the mutants. Some people said they deserved equal rights, others undecided and then the most vocal crowd seemed to be those fueled by hate and fear. Town square was a busy place. And the night was no different. On one corner though a small crowd was gaining in number as a man shouted on a mega phone. He fell into the later category of opinions about mutants. Inez had been out enjoying the night life and walked over to see what was going on with the crowd. Her golden blond locks softly bouncing on her shoulder as she stopped at the edge of the crowd. She was wearing a pair of cut off jean shorts that hugged her ample ass and then pink tube top with her black flip flops. She popped her gum softly as she let her eyes rolls to the mans message. “MUTANTS! They are the spawn of Satan. Look at the terror and horror they brought! They destroyed my family and life just like many of yours!” The people let a cheer out. Inez couldn't fully blame them. Mutants did kinda blow up the place pretty good. But still there was a lot of hate raging here. She was pretty sure all this hate wasn't going to lead anywhere good. And she wasn't a big fan of being lumped in with the monsters that did all this. She was a perfectly respectable member of society. She let a small humph out as the man called for the eradication of mutants. |

If you're planning on doing the Graymalkin thing you could do some threadage with Jason there. I had some clashing ideas with the other Emma but they never got off the ground. Jason has established anger issues when it comes to people messing with his mind without his permission, and from what I read of your bio it seems inevitable that eventually they are going to have disagreements about the sanctity of his mind. Just a thought if you're interested. |

It had been close to two months since the heroes and villains had somehow managed to save the world by briefly setting aside their differences to work together to take down Apocalypse. The world was still a mess, and many things had changed, particularly in regards to mutants. New York seemed to be one of the cities who had suffered the most during what could have been the end of the world. To a degree that almost wasn’t surprising, considering how many super-powered beings hung around the area. Why New York of all places? God only knew. Tabitha Smith, probably without thinking through her actions, had decided that she needed a break from the other members of the Brotherhood if only for an evening. She had jumped into her car and decided to drive into New York City to see what was going on as of late, and to see if anyone had calmed down. From the looks of the hoopla going on in Times Square that was quite possibly too much to hope for, because from the looks of it there was some sort of rally against mutants going on in that popular attraction. Some righteous bastard was trying to convince the public that mutants were the spawn of Satan and that all of them had played a part in the death and destruction caused by Apocalypse, which was completely untrue. For once Tabby had actually more or less done the right thing in both of the battles she had participated in, and she did not appreciate being blamed for the horror that Apocalypse and his Horsemen had caused. Especially since she was more commonly known for doing the wrong thing, even when she had actually been a member of the X-Geeks. She unfortunately had a very bad habit of not thinking her actions through and often getting in trouble for it. She usually meant well in her actions, but probably should think them through more often. Unfortunately she never seemed to learn from her mistakes...which was probably why she was a member of the Brotherhood now. And apparently she still hadn’t learned a thing from her past mistakes, because upon reaching Times Square she sneaked around behind the crowd of people in an attempt to get closer to the main speaker. She was very good at sneaking, since she had after all spent a few years on the street and survived by being a street thief. The small blonde managed to weave her way through the increasing crowd of people and inched up behind the main manipulator. A relatively small time bomb began to form in her hand and she slipped it into the bastard’s pocket. She briefly thought about tossing a handful of tiny time bombs into the crowd, but decided she would try to be subtle...or as subtle as a girl who could make time bombs at will could be. She quickly sprinted away from the crowd and started her countdown...1...2...3...! Seconds later there was the sound of something exploding, as well as the inevitable screeches of a shocked crowd. Tabby grinned , satisfied and made her way out of the remaining crowd as best she could. |

Inez stayed to the back of the crowd as she listened to the rambles. Her eyes caught sight of a girl sneaking up behind the man and place something in his pocket. She had gotten use to watching out for things in her line of work and this girl clearly was a mutant and with the explosions that followed it was all the more clear. Her little stunt has started and uproar. Inez sighed softly as she walked towards the girl who seemed to be trying to slip away. She reached out and softly tapped the girl on the shoulder. As people ran all around them. But Inez wasn't worry as far as she could see they were all humans but for this girl and herself. “Take it you didn't like his speech much? Was it the demons or the lynchings that turned ya off sweetie?” Inez chuckled softly. People really did get imaginative when they found something to hate. As far as Inez has seen none of the mutants she met looked much like demons. Some where pretty bad ass but not satanic. But hey what ever gets you support right? At least that was how Inez figured it up in her head. Say anything you can to try and rid the world of those you hate. |

Energy Absorption / Superhuman Durability

I would like to discuss your history. The previous Emma and Sebastian had one and while we hadn't posted together, I would like to at least iron out whether there was any history at all. And if so, I am open to thread with you if you need. |

Tabitha steadily moved away from the dispersing, confused crowd, trying to appear somewhat inconspicuous, so no one would think that it was her that had caused the small explosion. She was just a small, young blonde woman, wearing black, skinny jeans, combat boots and a somewhat loose pink t-shirt that subtly fell off one of her shoulders; there was nothing suspicious about her at all. Or nothing suspicious other than the fact that there was an almost self-satisfied smirk on her pretty face, as she walked away from the park, but that was only obvious if one got a close look at her. It would seem that she had caused a suitable uproar and that had been her intent. The crowd was dispersing, but they seemed quite angry, which most likely meant that they were going to go on a manhunt for the person who had interrupted their rally. And if that was the case Tabby needed to get out of their fast or at least try to find somewhere she could slip into while she waited for the crowd to get bored, then eventually give up. She was just about attempt to subtly slip into an ice cream shop when she someone tap her on the shoulder. She spun around a time bomb already beginning to form in one of her hands just in case and came face to face with another young, blonde woman. She quirked an eyebrow at the slightly older young woman, who in Tabitha’s most...humble opinion looked like a Barbie Wannabe, complete with an over sized chest, disproportionate to the rest of her body and a skimpy outfit. She rolled her blue eyes and tossed the time bomb that had been in her hand (it was only tiny) into a nearby garbage can, fairly certain that Miss Barbie probably wasn’t going to hurt her for now. While it was true that Tabitha was also blonde, as well as blue eyed, but her hair was too short and she was too small all over to ever be accused of trying to look like a Barbie doll. “What gave you that idea...?” She asked the other blonde, a quite clearly fake innocent smile on her pretty face. She wasn’t about to say that she was the one who caused the explosion until she found out who the other young woman was. If she was a fellow mutant than perhaps she would give her the time of day, if she wasn’t then if she was accused of the explosion she would spout off some fairly convincing story to get her out of trouble. Either way she was prepared. |

Inez let a soft giggle out at the girl blew up the trash can. She let a playful smile cross her lips as she folded her arms trying to look all matter of fact like. She glanced over her shoulder at the man who had been giving the speech and looked very shaken by the whole event and was yelling at his friends about how they could let a mutant get so close to him. This just brought another chuckle to Inez before she moved her gaze back to the girl. “Ya know hon. There are way better ways to take out a anti-mutant prick then a party popper in his back pocket.” She said it with a grin. It's been a few days since she got to shoot someone and she was itching for fun. Maybe even a pit of a brawl with some of the bigots would make her happy. She dug around in her bra a pulled out a small little gun that was easy to hide in no matter what she felt like wearing. “So you feel like a little mutant vs mutant hater rumble in time square? Make the news. Have are pretty little face becomes celebrities? We could like the mutant bonnie and Clyde or some shit” She said with a giggle as she pointed the gun over at the man. Who wouldn't want to be famous? Inez held steady waiting to hear what the girl had to say. |

She thought she heard a soft giggle from the other blonde in response to her blowing up the trash can and she narrowed her blue eyes slightly at her. Tabitha’s narrowed eyed look changed a moment later as she quirked a thin brow at the playful smile on the older girl’s face. She had no idea what Miss Barbie was thinking, but she was sure she was planning something that could potentially cause an uproar, probably even more so than what she had already done. Tabitha wouldn’t be entirely opposed to causing more of a stir, but it would depend on what sort of stir the other blonde wanted to cause. Her gaze also drifted over to the man who had been talking, and she shook her head slightly, before glancing back at her supposed companion. Tabitha quirked a brow once again and then she grinned a bit evilly, “There are also better ways to dress than like a Malibu Barbie doll.” She replied, her grin widening slightly. She was blunt that was for sure, but she had always thought it was ridiculous whenever people whispered things behind other’s backs. If someone had a problem with her she’d rather have them say it to her face, and that was why she was never at a lose for words when it came to her opinion versus someone else’s. A questioning look appeared on her face as she noticed the older girl...digging around in her bra for something? A moment later she pulled out a very small gun and pointed it at the man. Tabby smirked and then responded to the question that was asked of her, “While I’m not opposed to a rumble, I don’t like guns, so I’m just going to stick with my ‘party poppers’ if it’s all the same to you.” Her smirk widened and already a handful of time bombs was beginning to form in one of her hands. |
