Time of day: Right after Survivor Place in the Timeline: July 1st “Go ahead. Take your time… we got all fucking day.” Colossus was shoved from behind as he trudged wearily down a corridor… a place he hadn’t been since he had given up that ridiculous group therapy class he had been taking. His brow was knitted together in concern, wondering where these men were taking him and Kyle and why. He didn’t bother asking… every time he tried, the Russian received a strong blow between his shoulders which was extremely uncomfortable… especially when his muscles were this sore after fighting god knows how many prisoners. He cut Kyle a questioning look, but the younger man seemed to know as little as he did. He picked up his pace slightly, giving the guard behind him a weary look as he did so. He just wanted to go back to his room and sleep; the blood loss from the recently bandaged arm had made him light headed and close to passing out twice, something he did not wish to do in front of other prisoners. Signs of weakness in the CAGE were death sentences. “I do not understand,” Colossus’ words were slightly slurred from his groggy state and parched lips. He moistened them with his tongue and shook his head as he tried to refocus, “I performed admirably, yes? Why can I not go back to my room and sleep?” “I don’t know why she wanted to see this guy,” one guard said to the other three, “He might have lasted six guys, but I bet he won’t make it much longer.” “Fifty says he does.” “You’re on.” They were making a bet to see how long he would last? That did not sound good. Colossus blinked wearily and half way determined to just give up right there. Then the guards jerked the pair of inmates to a sudden stop in front of a door. “Here we are,” one of them said as he opened the door. Inside a woman was propped up against a desk, her intense eyes looking directly at him. He hesitated, looking from Kyle to the guards, trying to find some sort of answer in their eyes. Two of the guards shoved him into the room, followed by Kyle; the one in charge shot the strange woman a meaningful glance as he reached for the doorknob, “We’ll be right outside the door ma’m. Just yell if you need anything.” He shot Colossus an envious look, “Let us know when you’re… done.” With that, he shut the door, leaving just the three of them in the room. Piotr turned and looked at the woman. She was breathtakingly beautiful, and there was part of the Russian that immediately shied away from her because of it. But there was another part of him… birthed by abuse and neglect that just did not care who this was or what she wanted. He just wanted to sleep forever. “Takaya krasivaya.” He then shook his head, “I do not understand what this is.” |

As soon as the fight had ended, the majority of the prisoners had been returned to their cells, Kyle included. however, unlike the rest of the inmates on his row, the guards had come for Kyle mere moments after he had sat down onto his cell bunk, not even telling him why he was being taken. The Acolytes mind raced with potential thoughts, from being taken for some kind of interrogation to being experimented on for some kind of scientific research like a caged animal or even as far as he might being traded for some kind of swap between the CAGE and somewhere else. Hell, they may be taking him for execution, as he had no idea where his flying prison may be at that certain time. For all Kyle knew, he could be in space at the moment and they were going to push him out of an airlock. Such foolish thoughts did little to relieve the growing sense of dread in his gut, but the moment he saw Piotr being forced to walk the same walk he was doing, his spirits picked up a little and he gave the Russian mutant a small smile. Not one of joy but a resigned one, one that had etched the weariness and tiredness of his last few months of imprisonment across his face. But as he heard what the guards were saying, his spirits soon shrank down. Was he going to be made to fight Piotr? A private showing for the even more rich than the normal guests of CAGEs violent arena fights? Kyle knew that he was close to the fittest he had ever been and that he was in no way an easy win, but even with an injury like that, Colossus was still going to be near impossible to beat. Hell, he had faced down 74 and was still alive. If the two were being forced to face off, he was not optimistic about his chances of winning. As they went towards the door at the end of the corridor, close to where the group therapies were. The group sessions were not much of a trouble for the British mutant, as his group seemed to consist of some of the more harmless of the CAGE's inmates, ones that were captured because their powers were too dangerous or they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was easy to let them spill their hearts out and just saying what the psychologists probably wanted to hear. While he had seen a couple of individual meetings, Kyle wasn't fussed by the probing. Not when there were others in CAGE who were much better at getting inside his head... However, when he entered the room, it was certainly different to what he had expected. There was a woman, just slightly taller than Kyle but she held herself with such poise. Shame such beauty had to be wasted on a human. But it did raise the question, what was she wanting them there for? What was going to be "done?". The expression that was so clearly etched on the guards faces hinted at something to Kyle but he didn't know if he was just barking up the wrong tree. But he was going to find out as the door closed, leaving the trio alone. Saint looked back at the intense look as the womans gaze shifted from Piotr to him and back again. Mystiques human form was so different from her mutant one that Kyle couldn't even recognise her eyes, the one thing he was used to knowing from people. The eyes told so much and with them, Kyle used to be able to make people do so much. Not any more though, not in here. "Well, the guards brought us to you. What do you want from us?" Kyle asked, nerves bouncing through his body like a wire sparking out. There was little point in making a break for it, the room only had one exit and that was guarded by two guards outside. Although a hostage could help, the risks were too high and he couldn't be sure that Piotr would back him in threating to hurt or kill the woman if needed. For all of the X-Man's strength, Kyle knew that he had a soft spot for females, some sort of chivalry in him. Just by seeing how quickly he had taken Tina... Rage under his protection, it was apparent. He stood, waiting for the woman to make a response. |

Mystique waited for quite a while in the room by herself. So long, in fact, that she began to grow suspicious of the guards. After all, she had to wait for the fight to end, Piotr to be treated in the medical area, and then for both of them to be rounded up and brought to where she was waiting. It took almost forty five minutes. As she waited, the nullified mutant walked around the room and browsed the book shelves, all the while holding up a Blackberry cell phone. It made a low frequency beeping noise as it scanned the walls, books, desk and other areas in the room for any kind of monitoring device. Thankfully, she found none. The woman then took a seat at the desk and started another application on her Blackberry. This time, a screen popped up that looked much like a screen saver. The screen pulsated with a purple and white light and numerical values scrolled across the bottom of the screen. Mystique hit a record button, and the nullifier's signal was recorded into her cell phone so that Buford could analyze it and counter it. The door opened and "Ramona" hit the "stop" button on the cellphone, sending it back to it's main screen. She put the phone back into her purse, which was on the desk, and then stood. She walked around to the side of the desk with a smile on her face, letting her fingers trail along the wooden surface as she moved around it. Ramona's bright brown eyes looked to the guards and she nodded to them as they gave the instructions that they would be just outside. "That is fine," she said in reply, giving them a little wave as they shut the door behind them. Mystique stood there for a long moment after Kyle and Piotr voiced their complaints. She looked away from them with a small smile on her face, before saying softly in French, "J'ai payé pour avoir le sexe avec vous tous les deux." She then looked up at them as she stepped out of her black heels, using the ends of her toes to toss them to the side. The tall woman then walked quietly across the carpeted floor, approaching both of them with a sense of eagerness in her eyes. She approached Piotr first, reaching out for his hand and squeezing it gently. Mystique then led him to the couch and motioned for him to sit down. "Rest, X-man," she said softly, kissing him on the knuckles before letting him take a seat. She then turned towards Kyle and walked back to him. "I know you don't think you know me," she said, speaking quietly. Mystique then reached out and hugged him around the neck, her slender arms weak with the lack of her mutation. She went cheek to cheek with him briefly as she hugged, before turning her head and kissing Kyle on the cheek. "But you do," Mystique smiled slowly as she looked at him in the eyes, their noses just a few inches apart. The woman hugged him yet again in a true sign of affection because she was so glad to see that he was alive and well. As she did, she turned her head and whispered in his ear. "Magneto has not forgotten you, love. I am Mystique." Resting her head on Kyle's shoulder as she continued to hug him, she turned it to look towards Piotr, who had to be confused. "Neel zyah tre-vawzh-eets," Mystique said in a perfect Russian dialect, saying "Do not worry." "Vee za-vyesh-chaats sva-baawd-a," she continued, still speaking quietly as she told Piotr that he will be free soon. Mystique then released Kyle from her hug and stepped back to look at him again. |

The woman in front of him was one of the most beautiful creatures Piotr had ever seen, and though that wasn’t saying much – considering the fact that he had spent nearly three years incarcerated in either a Hydra base or the CAGE – the Russian felt that it was a safe bet that she really was. She approached them both with a fluid grace that he had never witnessed before. Her french words were even more graceful, and he didn’t care that he couldn’t understand him. He glanced at Saint again, unsure of whether he should back away from the approaching woman or stand his ground. It was amazing how he could be so fearless against prisoners who wanted to kill him, yet in front of such a lovely woman, his heart could not stop racing. What did she want with a Russian farm boy? He wasn’t sure he wanted to be here. Reaching them, the woman kept her eyes locked on the Sayan’s as she grasped his hand, squeezing it… affectionately? Piotr’s eyes clenched shut, his head swimming with too many feelings and emotions to pin down. She touched him… for the first time in three years she felt the gentle caress of a feminine hand as gentle perfume filled his senses. Were he not so injured and feeling out of place, he would be in love with the woman. As she lead him to the couch, he cast a nervous look over his shoulder at Kyle, his stomach suddenly in knots as she coaxed him to sit down on the cushions, kissing his knuckles oh so tenderly. His eyes never looked away from hers, even as she pulled away and let his hand slip from her delicate one. “Rest, X-Man.” His brow furrowed as a chill slid up his spine… who was this? What did she want? How did she know he was a former X-Man? He watched as the woman turned and tenderly embraced Kyle, a pang of jealousy bursting through his chest as she kissed him on the cheek... he wanted that kiss. He swept it away though, too concerned with these strange turn of events. He had been with the X-Men for several years, having had more than one encounter with Magneto and a previous incarnation of the Brotherhood. He had even met Mystique a few times… though kisses and tender glances had not been what he had received from the woman at the time. This was different though. He did not feel rage at the mention of Magneto’s name, nor anger at the woman who had been an enemy to those he once considered family. No… he felt something similar to kinship. Magneto and his followers had spoken ill of humanity in the past, calling them the enemy and accusing them of irrational hatred toward things they could not understand or control. Piotr had spent three years of his life living out the Master of Magnetism’s warning, and he was no longer sure the Professor’s way was right. He started to rise from his seat, but then thought better of it, his head feeling somewhat light. “Mystique… you have come to set us free, yes? What must I do?” He struggled to stand once more, amazed at how quickly his muscles could communicate their fatigue more clearly after a few moments’ rest. “I would like to offer myself to you. Break this device from my arm and I will personally tear this building apart. What must I do?” Piotr might have come off a little too eager, but after three years of hell, he did not care. His jaw was set, his eyes determined. |

Even though he didn't understand the French language in the slightest, it was pretty obvious to Saint that the woman had brought them in for one certain thing. And while that wasn't such a bad thing, it was rare that Kyle had slept with a human merely for pleasure. For his goals, for revenge and even once on a job that his old mentor had told him to do in order to get blackmail material or even for the chance to get closer to someone else, Kyle had done things that he wasn't too proud of. Letting humans touch him in that way, it made his flesh crawl. But it had to be said, the woman was beautiful. From her slender body to her flawless skin and dark hair, she was a vision of enticement. Even the way she slid her feet out of her shoes oozed sexuality and Kyle swore that his heart beat faster when she came near. Hell, what hot blooded male wouldn't with her around. However, it was clear that Piotr was far more confused, especially when she lead him to the sofa. However the words that came out of her tender lips were not the ones that he had been expecting to hear. X-Man? That tibit of information wasn't well known around the place and Kyle himself only knew it as shady from gossip and rumors but hadn't believed it. How could one of humanity's lap dogs fall so low as to end up in CAGE? But the fact that she knew it meant that she had not come here for merely pleasure. The dark haired woman had ulterior motives. Even before he could move away she was by him, her gentle lips brushing his face and her words softly whispered into his ear. The swell of joy in chest erupted into a small smile on his face, but he didn't let out anything more than that, who knows how they could be watching the room or what the guards might be hearing through the door if he shouted in excitement. Instead it was a quiet satisfaction, coupled with knowing that his time in the hellish prison was drawing to a close. "Mystique, its great to see you. Too long in fact. I was worried that all the trouble that we had heard about had affected the Brotherhood. Rage and I have been gathering information for the breakout for a long time, but our other companion here didn't last long. What is the plan?" Kyle asked, his words quiet and eager all at once, the mentality of his Acolyte status swinging into focus after too long of being hidden. "Its not that simple, Piotr. These bracelets are nothing compared to the major nullifier that is covering CAGE. If we want to be free with our brothers and sisters, first we must shut it down" he quickly stated, rembering the floor plans he had committed to memory before entering CAGE. Destroy the generator and then breaking free would be much easier. |

Mystique finally let her arms slide from around Saint and then took his hand, leading him over to the couch beside Piotr. She nodded in agreement with Kyle as he explained the nullifier to Colossus. She then raised a finger up to her lips and pushed Kyle into the seat next to Piotr before turning and walking to the door where the two guards were waiting. She reached up and took the hair piece from her hair and messed it up with her fingers, and then cracked the door. The two guards turned and smiled at her. "Finished already?" one asked. "Just getting started, baby," Ramona said with a playful smile. "Be a dear and fetch me a bottle of wine and some food from the VIP lounge. I'm afraid the big one is going to run out of strength before I finish with him. Bring three glasses," she requested. The guards looked at one another, knowing that they shouldn't, but hell... they were already doing something they shouldn't. Finally the one on the right nodded and walked off. "Do hurry! Oh, and knock. Don't just walk in on me." A wink was given to the guard who was left, and the door was shut. She intentionally left it unlocked, because she realized the guards might try to "accidentally" walk in on them. Also, she wasn't sure of what kind of food these two had been receiving, but by the looks of them, they could use a decent meal. Even if it was just a platter of finger foods from the VIP lounge. Mystique hurried back over to where they sat and smiled again, before motioning to Piotr. "Take off your shirt," she ordered, before lifting her dress up and over her head. Mystique threw it to the side and then nodded to Kyle. This might seem odd to them both, considering that she had just revealed her identity, but in truth Mystique wanted the guards to walk in on them to confirm that she was actually using them for what she had paid for. With her dress off, "Ramona" was left wearing a strapless black bra (since her dress was strapless) and black bikini style lingerie. With her hair down from it's clip, if fell well past her shoulders. Her skin was also perfectly tanned, not requiring hose or stockings for her legs. With that done, she moved closer to Piotr and put a long leg on either side of his, finally setting her knees down on either side of his hips and relaxing back until her rear end was placed on his large thighs. She then moved his massive hands to her waist, allowing him to keep them there as she placed an arm on either side of his head. Leaning in to his left side with her head, she went cheek to cheek with Piotr and began whispering. "If you can't tell, I paid to have sex with two of the more attractive prisoners," Mystique said, smiling towards Kyle. "But Kyle is right, big man," In more ways than one,she thought as she was sitting on his lap. "Cutting that cuff off of you will not achieve a thing. You both must be patient... it will probably be another week before we strike." Mysti looked to Kyle from her position on Colossus. Her eyes were sympathetic. "I am so sorry we have not come sooner. I'm sure that you have heard what we had to deal with on the outside. If it was not for Apocalypse, we would have broke you all out sooner. But, since we had to stop the entire world from being destroyed first...." She flashed Kyle a playful smile. Just then, the door opened as Mystique anticipated and the guard "accidentally" walked in. He pretended to be baffled and stared towards Ramona for a second, before she turned around and glared at the man. "Comment osent vous entrer? Les choses là et sortez!" she yelled, pointing at the desk. Ramona then dismounted Piotr and walked hastily across the room, slamming the door shut behind the guard. She latched it shut, locking it behind them. Now, she had a good reason to lock it. As the door locked, her faux anger immediately faded away and she smiled pleasantly at them both. She then walked back to them and took a seat in one of the cushioned chairs just off to the side of the couch. Crossing one long leg over the other, she finally looked at them seriously. "Get some food and wine if you want it," she said, motioning towards the desk. It looked to be a platter with assorted finger foods, a bottle of wine, and three glasses. "I want you to be in on the plan, Kyle. So while we have a basic understanding of what we want to accomplish... I want your input on how to take this place down. Ultimately, the nullifier will go down and Magneto will arrive. After that happens, this place will be destroyed." |

A low growl of displeasure nearly escaped Piotr’s throat as he took in Kyle’s words; he clenched his teeth in impatience. The man’s words urged patience and careful planning, and Colossus did not want to hear any talk at all… he had waited long enough for his freedom. Besides that, he wanted payback for what had happened to his family. His mother… father… even little Illyana had not been mutants. They had only been pieces in a game to get to him, and the thought sickened the Russian every time it surfaced. Mystique returned from her dealings with the guards who had delivered him, "Take off your shirt." With that simple command, she reached for the edge of her dress, slipping it over her head and tossing it to the side. Piotr caught enough of a glimpse to see what she was wearing underneath before looking away out of reflex. She had ordered him to remove his shirt and now she stood in nothing but her underwear… all that on top of discussion of escape after several brutal struggles – it was almost too much for the Sayan. He wanted to look, but dared not, and in the shock of what she had just done, he had completely forgotten to follow her command. As if that wasn’t enough, the shapeshifter was suddenly in his lap and placing his hands on either side of her waist as she snaked her arms over his shoulders and leaned down to explain the situation and also to reiterate what Kyle had just said. Her breath was very real and very warm, and it made the mutant of steel shudder; though his face remained largely passive with a hint of the sullenness that had accompanied the order for patience, he felt more like a deer caught in headlights. She then offered an explanation for why it had taken so long to act on their plans. Piotr let a few stray glances jump across her flesh as her attention was diverted elsewhere. After all… it had been a long time since… you know. He was no monk. Suddenly the door flew open and the guard she had ordered to bring food burst in, a tray of food and drinks in his hand. Piotr knew no French, but it was obvious by the tone of her voice that Mystique was giving the man a sound reprimand as she climbed off the Russian. He quickly retreated after delivering the platter. Upon invitation, Colossus pushed himself slowly off the couch, wincing as his entire body cried out in protest… how the guards had not suspected fowl play due to his condition was beyond him. Piotr wondered how much they had been given. As Mystique discussed the situation with Kyle, Colossus munched on several cocktail sausages and some yellow cheese; they were heaven compared to the food he was used to. “Counter-electromagnetic generator,” Colossus said after Mystique’s proclamation that the prison would be laid to waste. When he saw that the two stared at him, he gave a small shrug, “The prison guard with a large mouth suggested to others that they should activate my abilities and use their ‘anti-Magneto machine’ to tear me apart.” He glanced from Kyle to the shapeshifter, “I am guessing that it is still here. I do not know where.” He popped another piece of cheese in his mouth, relishing the taste in his own subdued way. |

As Mystique led the Acolyte to sit down onto the sofa, many things were running throughout his mind. Hundreds of potential plans were running through his minds but none stood out well enough. Sure, he knew the floor plans and the ways that they could get to the generator to disable it but there was no way that they could destroy it in their current states, not matter how strong Piotr was. What was needed was a bit more firepower than they had. Hopefully Mystique could come up with an answer or a solution to the problem. As she moved to get rid of the guards temporarily and to make her ploy seem more real, she asked for food and drink. Then as she headed back to the sofa, she told them to strip off their tops. While Kyle was toned, compared next to the wall of muscle that was the Russian mutant, he was little more than a stick figure. As she straddled the larger man, it was obvious that Piotr was having... difficulties in what to exactly do. If Kyle knew him better, he could of said that he was flustered, hot under the collar. But then who wouldn't be with Mystique on their laps? Even the guard who had walked in on them seemed to be interested in the currently Caucasian mutant woman. But the brief explanation of why it had been so long was good enough for Saint. There was priorities and freeing a few hundred was nothing compared to saving the lives of what must be millions of mutants (and some billion humans but who cared about them?). Saint knew that sacrifices must be made and if he had to wait a year, he would of done it gladly to help serve Magneto. As an Acolyte it was his duty to give everything that he could to help the master of magnetism achieve the supremacist dream. And now with the door locked, their little plotting session could be achieved much more easily. When Mystique asked, he was about to reply before Piotr gave them the answer of how to possibly knock out the nullifier. "That probably would do the trick or at least damage it long enough for us to take charge. The issue is that with all of the prison population, we could take down the guards during exercise time and cause a brief hostage situation but there is so much hostility that it is near impossible to remind some that our common enemy is the ones who are holding keys. But with your help Piotr, the Sayans could help us with a distraction or a overthrow. I reckon i have a way to get the Gene Nation people onside. If i drop a few facts to a certain loud-mouth, they will be wanting to meet the guy who knows Magneto. And that leaves the LD50 lot. Fuck knows how to get them to help, they are all so out of it. But the counter-electromagnetic generator should either be in the armory or on the top floor. We get that and get it to expand its range to the generator , it should shut the nullifiers down" |

Mystique sat silently while Piotr retrieved some of the food, glad that she was able to give them something to eat. After that fight that he just had, she wondered if they were going to give him anything extra. Returning just a few seconds later to his seat, he spoke of an "anti-Magneto" weapon that made her frown. To think that some homosapiens could create something powerful enough to bring down Magneto? Preposterous. But, she would have to humor the idea and consider it a real threat. Raven then turned her attention towards Kyle as he elaborated on several things that they would need to coordinate and plan. But the counter-electromagnetic generator should either be in the armory or on the top floor. We get that and get it to expand its range to the generator , it should shut the nullifiers down," Saint said. Mystique nodded once, looking to her lap in a brief moment of thought. "Stop there for a moment," she began, holding up a finger to the two boys. "I want to make it quite clear to you both that there will not be time enough for hostage taking. This will happen swiftly. All you need to gather and involve are those who are willing to stand and fight, drawing the attention of this facility's security. All other groups are none of ourconcern. If they choose to try to stay in their little cliques that is fine. However, if they try and fight against us, then they will be destroyed by the Brotherhood along with these SHIELD pieces of shit." She paused there for a moment, taking a moment to look them both in the eyes. Despite the fact that she was completely nullified, Mystique still had the ability to give off the impression that she was deadly. Her eyes said it all, speaking more than words could tell about how many she has killed in the past and how many she would kill for Magneto in the future. "Now, when I return here in a weeks time, it will have to be during the Cage's pit fights. There is no other time that I could just walk into this place. I have witnessed how the guards and other personnel on this station are focused towards the arena during that time. They all seem to place their own bets and they really seem to enjoy it. Personally, I think that during this time is when we strike. I have been to where the man sits who is in charge of the pit area and there is an observation room above, complete with control panel. I will infiltrate this area and attempt to open the cells on the pit, and I will also attempt to shut down the countermeasures that keep prisoners from climbing the pit walls. If you gather enough prisoners during the fights next week, then you should be able to spill into the spectator area and take control from there." A small smile was given. "I will then be able to find the both of you there and whomever else you have judged to come along with us, and you can take me to this counter-magnetic generator and we will destroy it and the nullifier. Or if you prefer, I can do this alone. It will just take a bit longer for me to locate the weapon." |

Colossus listened in silence, extremely grateful to Mystique for her thoughtfulness in retrieving food for the two of them. He was completely famished and despite his attempt to control how fast he ate, it likely showed how he longed for good tasting food that actually nourished him properly. Come to think of it, he might not have lasted so long in the ring had everyone not been feed the same portions of glop as he had been given. The thought made his stomach twist in knots. He did not interject as Kyle and the shapeshifter spoke… they were members of the Brotherhood and their team was the one planning this attack. He would merely follow their lead as they saw fit. As much as it irked him to wait, cooperation and team work were the only things that would help the prisoners of the CAGE escape. He nodded at Saint’s declaration that he would try to rally the people in secret throughout the week. He would inform Ursa of this development and make sure he had the Sayans ready; regardless of what the other prison gangs did, he could trust that the smallest and closest-knit group named after the mountains would not leak any of this information outside their circle… thanks to the communist principals they lived by. He nodded in agreement with Mystique’s declaration of how serious this was… it was their freedom they were discussing. Piotr did not relish killing anyone… especially after the incident several months ago. He would not hesitate to do so, however, if someone stood between him and his chance at escape. He had been incarcerated wrongly and felt that he should not be made to suffer at the hands of prejudice humans. He was a good man, and they would not stop him from living a good life. “You do not have to worry about me, Mystique. I have no prejudice toward any faction inside this facility. The Sayans can take care of themselves and they all wish to be free. They will fight by our side. I do not care about the others.” He shook his head at the end of her explanation, adamantly against the idea that her suggestion about doing it alone should even be considered. “Even if every other prisoner proves to be a coward, I will fight by your side. You will have to kill me to keep me from doing what I must.” He popped another cocktail sausage in his mouth and chewed slowly, fixing his eyes on Mytique to show his determination. |

Still sitting on the sofa just with Mystique, arguably one of the most dangerous women on earth just made Saint feel much more optimistic about their chances of getting out of CAGE. Granted, there was always the body bag option of leaving but freedom is only good for the living (mostly). However, listening to her plans made a lot more sense than the half-baked plan he had come up with. Whilst the British Acolyte knew the aim, he had figured little more than a ground work. And the no-hostage idea was a good one, especially seeing as that could slow them up if it wasn't simply a meat-shield approach in case the humans brought out their heavy fire weaponry. Saint was sure that somewhere in CAGE they had proper guns, just in case their high tech ones failed. However, if the plan worked, by the time they may be found, the prison would be hopefully taken over enough so their escape could begin in earnest. Nodding his head in agreement at the shape shifters words, Kyle knew that they would only have one proper chance. Fail and they could have a long time in this prison on their hands. "Don't worry about our side of the plan, we can get the man-power if we need it. We will get Rage to inform the female prisoners and Pete and myself can work the rest of us who he reckons are trustworthy enough not to go tell the guards for some traitorous reason. And do not worry Mystique, I am with you one hundred percent with that plan. We are Brotherhood mutants, we don't leave each other behind. And besides, I would spend another decade in here if it was needed of me. You just do what you need to do and I will take care of what else you need me to do. Although from the stories i have heard about your past, i have no doubt that you couldn't do this by yourself" Kyle replied, his eyes wandering from the door to his fellow brotherhood member and to the vast rippling muscles of Piotrs chest. There was no doubting that Mystique could pull off her part of the plan, but it would remain to see if the rest of it could be done. In his soul, Saint hoped so. |

Mystique placed her elbows on her chair and interlaced her fingers, placing her thumbs on her chin as the two men spoke how they agreed with the said plan. She nodded first to Piotr as he said that he would fight by her side regardless. This was something that she respected. He had already proven himself in the pit, as far as she was concerned. In her opinion, he was so much more than any othe X-man that she had seen. Mystique then nodded to Saint as he spoke. "And do not worry Mystique, I am with you one hundred percent with that plan. We are Brotherhood mutants, we don't leave each other behind. And besides, I would spend another decade in here if it was needed of me. You just do what you need to do and I will take care of what else you need me to do. Although from the stories i have heard about your past, i have no doubt that you couldn't do this by yourself." The compliment was given and she blushed slightly, something that would have never been seen if she was not nullified. The blood rising to her cheeks was a feeling that she was familiar with, sure, but usually she would shift it away before it rose to the surface. A smile once again graced her features. "I assure you, Saint, that despite what you have heard... I have always had some form of assistance from my peers. A person rarely achieves much alone," she said, a rare show of modesty coming from the terrorist mutant. Whether it was completely true or not, she wanted to show Saint that she was not the type of person to claim full responsibility for her past or current actions. Within the Brotherhood, she wanted to maintain the fact that she was a team player with those who she cared about. Considering Saint was chosen as an Acolyte by Magneto, she especially wanted to display this to him. "The first part of the plan will come easy enough, I believe. If it all goes according to plan, then Buford will be able to rig up something for me to bypass this nullifier. With that accomplished, getting into the pit control room should not be an issue. Taking out a guard and assuming his form is well within my capabilities. I reason that things can go very wrong very quick from there," Mystique said, continuing to relay the seriousness of the plan. "Quite simply, if the bars are opened so that you can get into the spectator area... then carry on with the plan. If they do not, then assume that something has gone wrong and we will have to devise another plan." Yet another smile was given. "But that will not happen, I assure you... not while I am on the job. When the way is opened, you will need to hit the spectators and the guards hard and fast until I can rendezvous with you both and then make it clear that the others will need to continue to fight until they are dead or Magneto comes. Which ever one comes for them." Mystique then stood and put her hands on her bare hips, still standing before them in her underwear. She glanced between them for a moment. "Any other questions or concerns?" |

Colossus shook his head when Mystique asked if they had any other questions. He popped another piece of cheese into his mouth, wondering how long he would be allowed to stay… then he wondered how long Mystique would stay in that state of dress. It wasn’t that he was complaining… just not used to being in the company of a half-naked woman. He had spent a long time as a prisoner. “I do not have any more questions,” he said after swallowing his food. “Only a desire to make these things happen. I will be there to help in any way I can.” He admired Mystiques words about how teamwork had made it possible for her to accomplish her missions. As someone whose entire family had been murdered, he could appreciate such sentiments. All he wanted was a group of people he could depend on and take care of. He just wanted his freedom and a place to call home, and Colossus felt like he could find that among the Brotherhood. He reached for several more cocktail sausages and piled them on his plate, making quick work of them. They were amazing compared to the food he’d been exposed to for the last three years, and he would take full advantage of the opportunity to consume as many as he could. He would need his strength for the fight ahead. |
