Timeline: June 17th, Year TBA The petite woman walked into the wood floored room, surveying her surroundings. She was wearing a cute little summer dress, white in color, that ended perfectly at her knees. The white dance shoes on her feet, coupled with both the dress and the white ribbon holding her hair in a ponytail, was evidence that she was not only ready for a dance or two, but she was also ready for a psychological analysis of what she thought was appropriate attire for such an occasion. But this was just a for-fun thing for her, and it was not like she did not know how to dance. Tango was just another to add to the repertoire of things to use against unruly human cops... or the children who just needed to settle down. Regardless, she was happy that she was currently present for the lesson, after having to cancel her first two attempts at learning tango. She blamed that, whole-heartedly, on Alexander Summers and his ability to take her away from anything for the promise of saving a child. Of course, she did not mind saving a child here or there. She just wished she could get a little time-off every so often. When she had entered, she noticed a few stares she was getting, but gave no other indication of noticing that people were thinking her for insane (or in the wrong place), even when she set her small bag to one side and leaning against a non-mirrored side of the wall. She was merely excited to be there was all. The children of the world were helped for now, and she could rest easy knowing that Alex was not going to attempt to contact him... Nevermind that she turned her cellphone off just for this occasion. |

There were several interesting skills that one found themself having to acquire when their chosen profession was that of an actor. Unfortunately most of them were only things that would be used only once, but there were a few that could be useful during social occasions and there were others that certain actors just took an interest in, so they often decide to pursue them further. In the case of one Kurt Wagner, devilishly handsome actor extraordinaire, he had had to take up fencing for a number of roles, and had found great enjoyment in it, so it was no one of his favourite pastimes. He had also had to learn several genres of dance for different roles, but could never find very many people to practice the dance steps with him, so he had taken to attending dance classes. He always tried to keep a low profile whenever he attended these classes, but more often than not he eventually ended up giving up, since just about anyone who had any interest in theatre or small, independent films in Jus Soli recognized him. He could theoretically wear an image inducer or some such thing to help him be less recognizable, but he wasn’t particularly fond of hiding his true appearance, even if it was blue, fuzzy and slightly demonic looking. Either way today he was going to partake in a tango lesson, both for the novelty of learning such a passionate dance and because he needed the skill for his newest role. He was to play a version of the legendary Zorro and he was rather looking forward to it. He arrived at the dance studio with a hat on his head, that sort of disguised who he was, but not really and the moment he entered the building there were already a few people looking for his autograph or just to talk to him. He was as polite and charming as usual, which was something that had always made him more popular than other actors. Eventually he was able to find his way to the room where the class was supposed to take and after a moment he found his glowing golden eyes shifting over to a pretty young blonde woman dressed in white. Kurt himself was wearing a short sleeved, button down, white dress shirt, and black trousers. He sauntered over to the young woman and offered her a charming smile, “I suspect we are going to need partners for this lesson, and I think I already would like you to be mine.” His voice was low, soft and polite, with a distinct German accent. His smile widened slightly as he awaited a response to his request. |

The looks around her were starting to get unnerving, despite her best efforts to just go about her own business and enjoy the day. However, as she was self conscious of everyone around her, she tended to be a little bit on the shy side when she felt the effects of people staring. However, her feeling dissipated as she felt the eyes lift from her, and towards someone else in the room. If it were not for the fact that he were incredibly blue, she probably would not have looked herself, and happily shrugged off everyone's attentions towards someone else. But she had seen him before; many times at that. She had seen him perform on the stage, and found that he had quite a talent for the roles he was put in. Indeed, Tandy knew of the famous Kurt Wagner; who on Jus Soli did not? She happened to be a fan of his herself, not only because he was a pretty face, either. However, she was not going to be gushing over him like the other members of the dance class were. As a matter of fact, she prided herself in the fact that she thought herself a decent actor. Instead, her expression was polite, yet blank. "Oh, would you, now?" she asked curiously. Twirling a bit, she faced the fuzzy, blue man. A small hum was on her lips as well, something a little classical, to go with the ballet that she had in her head. "Why would that be?' she continued, "You have plenty of other ladies to choose from." When she said ladies, she, of course, meant the giggling flock of women to one side, staring at the blue man as if he were something to be ogled at. Despite herself, Tandy wanted to join them, giggling and staring as if she were in high school again, but she kept to herself. It probably was not a good thing to start squealing like a girl in front of a man such as this anyways. She did not know if his power pertained to just his stunning good looks, but she was pretty sure it did not. "Or did you think you could take on a partner who has a little background of her own?" |
