"Alright, folks, it's showtime," the pilot announced to the SHIELD agents in the convoy as they arrived at the dam. "Agents, split half and half with Sunfire and Omega Sentinel here. Henderson, Chavez, and Jones, you're with Sunfire. Woo, Hale, and Walters, you're with Sentinel. You follow their leads at all times, got it?"

The various Agents nodded their heads, and prepped their weapons. The convoy hovered over the dam at the entrance the Brotherhood made for themselves.

"Warbird, we read you loud and clear," the pilot responded. "Response squad is on scene as well and deploying. Go kick those scumbags in the throats for us."

Sunfire stood at the deployment port in the Quinjet and glanced back to Omega Sentinel for a moment.
"I would wish you luck," he said, returning his attentions to the dam, "but you do not strike me as the type who requires it. Team, keep your jet packs trained on me. I do not want to have to slow down for your benefit."

Then he zoomed through the hole into the dam with a sound not unlike a jet exhaust, with the three agents right behind him.

"I have signature locks on Balam and Gambit," Sunfire announced. "Take them down hard. No mercy for rabid dogs."

He snaked through the corridors like a dragon of flame, moving with immense speed and precision straight down the center of the hallways.

It was not difficult to follow the path of carnage laid before him, almost like a trail leading to the Brotherhood. It only fueled his anger, making him burn brighter and hotter. He spotted them after a while, attempting to access a control room.

He took action immediately, sending two streaks of white-hot plasma flame aimed precisely at them. There was no warning, no call for surrender. He wasn't here to arrest them.

Bionic Enhancements
The anticipation of the fight ahead made the flight feel like ages. Karima wondered if they were ever going to get there in time to save anything of dam. At any minute the Brotherhood could blow the dam and unleash the Colorado River to destroy an unknown amount of property and kill who knew how many. Finally, SHIELD arrived and the pilot announced they were ready to engage. Omega Sentinel took her place with the other Agents in the launch bay. She made sure her jets were engaged and ready and also ran a last minute systems analysis. All systems green. Sunfire looked to her and gave her a compliment. “Thank you,” Karima called over to him. “I’m sure that you make your own luck as well.”

Sunfire then addressed the agents with them. He had divided them into teams and they were congregating together. One team would be with Yoshida and one would be with Shapandar. Karima passed her eyes over her team. They all had their flight packs on and ready. The launch bay opened and the roar of the engines overtook them. As soon as the opening was large enough, Sunfire flew out followed by his team. Karima followed suit and flew along on her leg jets through the winding, twisting corridors of the dam facility.

Karima followed a path separate from Sunfire but she still found the Brotherhood members. Cain Marko, the Juggernaut, was there and that was not a good sign. He, Black Tom Cassidy and the young female speedster were attacking the generators. There was a great deal of damage already. She was getting a reading on an unknown mutant in the vicinity but Juggernaut had to be stopped. With a TEK! her plasma canon formed out of her right arm and the electrostatic poles emerged from her left. Perhaps she could melt his helmet off and then he would be susceptible to mental attacks. Though she had no idea if any of her SHIELD team had been given psionic implant upgrades, otherwise stopping the behemoth would be a test.

After disabling the dam's security system Manuel began making his way back, as he approached the doors he was a bit shocked to see what was happening before him. SHIELD had arrived, he had figured they would would show up somewhere along the way, but a bit taken aback to see them here so quickly. Empath began walking faster, cutting corners and making his way to where he was almost sure he could sense his fellow Brotherhood members. Seeing Spitfire and and Black Tom ripping the generators to high hell, the Spaniard noticed an oncoming SHIELD agent from the corner of his eye, she was tall and built. She looked like a Bollywood actress and as though she could handle herself very well if she had to. Upon first sight Manuel was unsure of her mutation, then, just as he was collecting his thoughts the woman went Terminator.

With one arm turning into some kind of cannon and the other arm forming some sort of electric pole, it was more than a little obvious this woman was more of a threat than he thought. She stood almost directly in front of Cain, he may have been quite large but who knew what the fuck was going to come from that arm cannon. "Fucking bitch" the Spaniard said to himself. Having been working tirelessly to perfect his abilities lately, Manuel's empathic senses were now always running in high gear, as such it was without even trying that he noticed the large roboticly enhanced womans mind was still very in touch with it's human side. This may have been a plus for her during her normal life, but today it would be her downfall.

Taking a step closer to the woman, Manuel literally punched her mind with a favorite mental fist of his, it wasn't anger, it wasn't depression, it simply was the complete lack of any emotion, any thought or drive. Having learned this to be one of his most useful weapons, he knew, from much practice that when the mind and the heart are completely empty, completely blank all that was left was a shell, a walking zombie. As the Spaniards ability took complete control of the womans mind she became nearly catatonic. Walking past her and to the side of the Juggernaut, Manuel placed his hand upon the behemoths shoulder and returned his gaze to the SHIELD agent. "They're prettier when they don't speak" he said.

You knew there was something really weird about your life, when you fell in a monotonous routine, kicking the shit out of massive generators. Spitfire had raced from one to the other, putting her feet where they were weakest. The blonde found herself saying it over and over…but a year ago she’d have seriously had no clue where to put her foot through a generator to fuck it up, she wouldn’t have thought about raiding the Hoover Dam with a group of crack hard criminals…Wait, she was a criminal, maybe not a crack hard one but a cracky one at least, but either way she couldn’t deny she was one. It didn’t mean she thought that the law was ‘right’, just that she was currently in opposition to what was considered the good, just, wonderful…Oh speak of the bloody devil

Noticing activity out of the corner of her eyes that amounted to her most favourite people…Flaming, bloody SHEILD! How the hell could they have gotten there so fast? Oh, wait, because they had nothing better to do than chase people who just wanted mutant equality so were driven to the best means of getting attention for their plight…Something like that anyway. Her mind shot off on to the next tangent of doing as much damage as she could before some bint decided to try and beat seven shades of shit out of her, if there was anyone there that could catch her anyway.

Kicking into a generator like a jack rabbit – Wait, jack rabbit…Jac…Jac rabbit – Jac twisted off with a bounce, heading for the next at the speed of a bullet as well, she couldn’t quite do light speed yet she pressed on, hoping to get that one room finished and then they’d be nearly done anyway. Oh hell, she was really going to need a Route 44 slushie or three after this, strawberry ones and tater tots, she wanted tater tots with cheese…

Shaking her head, she zoomed to another generator, dreading how her legs were going to feel later, she concentrated on doing as much damage as she could before getting confronted, pausing for one second before getting on her communicator. “We’ve got company. SHIELD company, so no need minding our manners, eh?” she chirped brightly, then cussed loudly as her foot crashed right through a generator and got lodged, deep inside the mechanism, narrowly missing getting mangled. Oh. God. No. Looking around anxiously, she took one second to send up several curse laden prayers, before reaching out one of her arms, waving it desperately.

“Tom! TOM! Pippin to your Treebeard, like now!” she gasped, hoping he’d be in an agreeable enough mood to put aside the fact she was English and save her speedy little ass before SHIELD capped her.

Cain had a problem with stomping heads. Normally it'd be just fine for him to curbstomp someone, but he often forgot the extent of what a stomp was for him. He didn't like having to pull himself out of the concrete floor every time he sent a heel into a bald scalp. Now, maybe that might just be because every bald person he saw, he saw his abhorrent half-brother. Either way, yanking his foot out just made him bothered. There was no harm to him, but it meant he had to slow down for like, half a second.

And really, did we want that?

Cain Marko lumbered back down the cooridor, back towards the double-doors that he had shut to shelter the screams of the bald man he just killed. Now that there wasn't much to do back there, Cain simply pushed the two doors aside with a hint of his strength, crumbling the doors and ripping them off their hinges. Just as he did, the mechanical manipulations of some cybernetic origins reverberated within the dome upon his head. The sound of charging energy drew his attention, making him turn awkwardly towards the noise. Plasma began gathering on some poles that emerged from some woman's left arm and he braced for the attack -- but it never came.

Instead, he barely felt a pat on his shoulder, which made the Juggernaut turn again towards the Brotherhood member touching him. Cain wondered how Empath ever managed to reach so high and touch his shoulder which was well over seven feet off the ground. Oh well, he'd give Empath the credit he deserved. He always thought that the size of your arm was had some relation with your dick's size. Maybe the rumors were wrong and Empath just had a long arm.

Cain mused over his inward thoughts.

"I dunno. I kinda like it when they scream. I mean, if you wanna fuck a corpse go ahead, I ain't gonna judge you. Just don't talk to me about it." He shrugged it off.

"Hey!" The Juggernaut faced down the corridor he just came out of. A blond-haired woman stood there, tryin to strike some imperious pose. "How about you come and try that with me, big boy?"

Cain tilted his head inside his helm. "You go tell everyone to pull out, Rickie," he said to Empath, a giant meaty hand lifting to half-shove, half-nudge him back behind him. "Generators gotta be gone with Tom still in there and now we can hike out. Tell everyone on the radios to get out. Job's done. I'll bring in the rear." Cain gave an audible smirk, stepping forward as the blond woman began walking towards him.

"I just said I like it when women scream, didn't I?" he mused aloud to himself, walking towards the corridor. "Scream for me!" he shouted vigorously down the hall, the gleefulness of battle radiating on his vocal cords. His hands clenched into fists and the Unstoppable Juggernaut took off, his heavy boots crashing into the concrete of the dam below him, sending the sounds of a stampede through the dam.

"ORRAAAAHH!"

Black Tom

Black Tom continued about their mission of disabling the generators within the dam. Spitfire the speedster had zipped toward the two men that had been shooting at the Irishman. At first it looked like she was toying with them. She circled them and batted them with a piece of scrap iron she had found on the floor. The iron bent after a wicked blow and she tossed it away. Jac then moved in for a series of brutal kicks from her highly muscled legs, which Tom honestly thought she would have utilized at the start. The little speed demon finished the job and said that if anyone needed her again just to call.

Tom was ripping at the moorings again when a call came out that SHIELD showed up. “Knew the rats would come out of the wood pile eventually,” Tom growled. “Let’s give them something to whine about and then hit the road.”

Black Tom craned his head around and looked. One woman in a SHIELD uniform entered the large room. She was flying with jets attached to her legs like some sort of jet boots. She was also followed by three male agents with packs on their backs that allowed them to fly. The bitch’s arm transformed into some strange device and she took aim at Cain but Manuel came close by and by the looks of the woman he worked his mojo on her. The Irishman took a couple of shots at the agents that flew around like agitated wasps but his attention was called by Spitfire. “Tom! TOM! Pippin to your Treebeard, like now!”

Black Tom turned his head back around and a scowl grew on his scaly barked face. Jac had gotten herself stuck in one of the generators. She had kicked into it and couldn’t get free. He stomped toward her and wrapped his hands around the metal. With a screech, the metal gave way to release her foot. “This is the last generator; looks like SHIELD is just a little too late. Lets get out of here.”
