November 28th, Noon As Sam approached the waterfall behind the mansion, suddenly, bad memories of Kimberly being...well, Kimberly began to come to mind. In a way, the bumpkin was happy that this whole feud was ending, and that the two could go back to ignoring each other as two other bodies in the mutant sanctuary, yet another part of him, that which desired being involved or a part of the affairs of the kids was going to miss having a big, talked about vendetta against the pop star. Maybe he was just a bit of an attention whore, but he felt pretty cool doing it. The past year of arguing with the little brat made him feel empowered. Hell, it almost made him want to turn around and let this whole thing continue. But that wasn't really an option. Nope nope nope. Sam was a big boy, beyond such childish fracases. Now Sam took advice from those guys who sang 'Damn It Feels Good to be a Gangster', like how they sad real gangster ass niggers play their cards right, and never run their fucking mouths because gangster ass niggers don't start fights. And Sam was a gangster. A real ganster ass...white guy. If Sam were lucky, the pop starlet wouldn't be in the area, or off getting recognized and other fun shenanigans. Aw, damn! Being a grown up meant no more shenanigans! This whole situation just wasn't fair! Emma was a grown woman and had had altercations with pretty much everybody in the building. He had never spoken to her for more than a few minutes before, but the word on the street was she was a straight up meany. Even Ororo said so! Grown ups are allowed to have fights! "Daw, grow up, Sam. Ain't nothing gonna change this," the bumpkin mumbled as he stepped closer to the waterfall. The young man sighed once more grumpily, and put both of his hands dorsiflexed at the corners of his mouth, and cleared his throat. "Kimberly Parker, please report to Mister Guthrie's office immediately!" Heh. Damn, he was clever. |

"Oh? They are giving anyone offices now?" He called behind herself, she was doing endurance training on the surface of the pond that the waterfall fed into. She currently had amassed about ninety gallons of water, which was about ten over what she was comfortable with, but it wasn't stressing her body yet. Last time she shattered her limits she couldn't even lift water for a week let alone eighty gallons. She fired the water into the air and there was a soft sprinkling rain around the forest for a few moments before the sun returned to the cold grounds. She stepped from the surface of the pond to greet Sam with a less than welcoming smile. In the recent months, mostly after she started dating Speed she had taken to ignoring him entirely. He wasn't worth the energy. Around Kimberly it was about sixty degrees and humid, she was flash-heating the snow around her so she did not have to wear a jacket to keep warm. She crossed her arms and arched a brow at Sam. "Does someone need me? It's my lunch period." Like many other students with more offensive abilities, she was gunning for the xmen after graduation. She was a senior student, but she did not want to rest on the idea that anything was guaranteed. Really what was she going to do after school anyway, the pop-star life wasn't something she could live on anymore anyway. (Sorry about the delay, I have been sick) |
