Date: April 19 Time: afternoon It was an unseasonably warm spring day in New York. A good deal of the faculty and those students who didn't have any school related business to attend to were outside and enjoying it as a matter of fact. Doug however did not qualify as one of those kinds of people. He didn't particularly enjoy the outdoors, though there were times that he had to admit there was something kind of invigorating about the fresh air. But there was also mosquitos and flies and ants and...well, other crawling things. After visiting the Savage Land several months back he swore that he didn't want to spend any more time outside than he had to for an entire year. That's why he was warm and cozy inside. With his laptop...sitting opposite one Kitty Pryde. He looked at her over the top of his screen with a somewhat dark expression. "That was a dirty trick, Pryde," he commented with the hint of a grin playing at the edges of his lips. For a very long time the two of them had met in the library or in one of their rooms or like today in one of the various lounges that the school had to offer. They would both come equipped with a laptop and both would plug into World of Warcraft for a few hours of escape together. Today Doug was playing his newest creation. It was a male blood elf, Warlock class. He'd managed to get a swift yellow wind rider, and a few other useful things to help him defensively in a battle. Unfortunately he was levels below Kitty, and she was playfully teasing him about it. "Don't make me pull out my paladin." He hadn't meant that to sound so...innuendo-filled, but he caught it right away and lowered his head behind the screen. |
