Since it takes a pretty decent amount of resources to get a mission together, it's always nice when the Brotherhood can find a way to multitask, and luckily, such an opportunity has just presented itself. Under the pretense of a Firework shipment for a Fourth of July celebration in Connecticut, a cell of anti-mutant terrorist organization have smuggled a sizable shipment of weapons into New York. The Brotherhood, naturally, don't intend to let the cell in question keep either their weapons or their lives, and certainly don't intend to see what the Alliance of Human Citizens really have planned for the Fourth carried out. A Brotherhood operative has discovered that the cell in question intends to move the weapons from a safehouse near the docks on the night of June 30th/very early morning of July first. The cell is relatively small and will be especially vulnerable while loading their cargo for transport, even moreso with the element of surprise. Accordingly, the Brotherhood have planned an ambush during the transport. The plan is to get in, cause as much damage as possible to the cell, grab the weapons, and get out. However, the Brotherhood aren't the only ones who've heard about these criminal dealings, and New York has guardians outside of the mutant community, as well, wisecracking, pajama-wearing, spider-y guardians. -- Inspired in the hopes of letting some of us in the Brotherhood get to have a run-in with Spiderman, this thread will take place on June 30th. Too many might be a crowd, but it would also make sense for the Brotherhood to send a decently-sized raiding party, so I think there's room for three or so other BHers and, of course, ol' webhead if he can make it. If anybody has any questions, of course, feel free to ask and flesh out the idea a little more. 1. Toad 2. Mystique 3. Rage 4. Frenzy 5. Manslaughter Spiderman? |

Since I'm kinda new here, I don't know if bigger threads tend to get bogged down the way they often do on other RP sites. I'd be willing to give it a shot if everyone else is. |

Only bogs when people start slacking, but that shouldn't be an issue. I'm game to go (is Frenzy). |

If everyone else is down to do it back-dated and a little late, yeah. I just fucked up both my wrists and couldn't type for a bit, but all's basically well now. I think I'd mostly finished the post, so I'll have it up tonight or tomorrow. |

I was way hubristic about my ability to type at any extended length, at the time. Way better, now, though. Case in point: Robbin' The Hood, if anybody's still interested. |
