Announcing XMR's first player contest! Do YOU have an idea for an alternate world? Well, here's your chance to develop it and possibly see it in game play for a thread, as a major part of a side plot that's going to bring important changes to a couple of our lost characters here on XMR. The rules are simple. Between now and Hallowe'en, come up with an idea for an alternate world and PM your idea to staff. In early November, we'll put up a poll with a brief and anonymous description of the world, and we'll have voting for about a week or so. The top three AUs will then be put into the side plot, with sign ups for two or three players per world to interact with the character this story revolves around. What is required of the world? Well, these are going to be single thread visits to these worlds, so changes should be visual and noticeable. It doesn't help to have a world where Nick Fury is a woman if we are never going to see Nick Fury. But a world where the Red Skull is in charge of Shield would have a dramatically different sort of look to it. Understand? There is no limit to how many worlds you can submit, and since voting will be anonymous but visible, everything will be fair. Any question contact Heather or Dean and we'll answer them. We have some amazingly creative people here. Impress us. |
