Date: November 5th, 2012 Time: 10:00AM Another day in Mutant Town since he returned to the city for the first time in a long time. Hank really was amazed at how much it had grown in a short amount of time, more amazed at how resilient the citizens of the little town could be. It was freeing, to walk around without having some slight twinge of fear of what may happen just because he was physically different. It was something he grew up with, something he spent most of his lie persecuted about until he found equals whom he considered long time friends. One of the people he met during his life, which short by comparison, was James Bradley. They met years ago, when Hank was much younger, shortly after he was hired by the Brand Corporation, and then a few times after the accident that gave him the blue visage he had today. Hank considered the man an intellectual equal, perhaps greater mind than his own, but Hank would not necessarily admit that. They had a certain repertoire when they did meet, it was amusing to Hank, and he assumed it was as well with Bradley, considering he wasn't necessarily the man to put up with an annoyance longer than necessary. "Hello, I have an appointment with Dr. Bradley." Hank spoke to the receptionist at the front desk after he walked in to the building. So much had changed since the last time he had been there, the remodeling after the Purifier attack was superb, and he was glad to see it all still standing. It meant a lot to the mutant community. "Tell him it's Hank McCoy." Beast added with a friendly smile. From what Rahne had also told him Moira took up work at X-Corp as well, moving her career to the states a few months ago. He was not sure if he would see her today, but would be pleased if he had. More so he heard that Kavita Rao was working out of X-Corp as well, another old friend, though one he had not seen as much in person as the other two, most of their friendship having been done through email. He wanted to catch up with as many people as he could in the few weeks he would be staying in New York. While it was a vacation from teaching, he was still going to attempt at keeping himself busy as possible. |
