Anthony Edward Stark has been in SHIELD custody for the better part of the past two month so so. While his collection of highly paid lawyers attempted to expedite his charges, clear his name of any wrong doing and get the matter resolved as quickly as possible. But in this time of heighten awareness because of increased criminal activity all over the world including first and foremost New York City court rooms around the world had been log jammed slowing the process on just about everything and without a full confession from Emma Frost herself. The Telepath made me do it defense just didn't carry enough weight.

Especially when looking at multiple felonies of Terrorism, Vandalism, Murder, Destruction of City property, Inciting riots among others. Plus the lack of any memory of these events didn't help. So Tony continued to bide his time in the Thunderbolt Lock up until he could return to his life. But things had not been all dull in the Lock up. The presence of the Brotherhood's Illusionist Martinique Jason and now the newest prisoner Jacqueline Falsworth the Rogue speedster from the Magneto's Acolytes helped pass the time at least in his own mind as he pined to return to his life outside the Hellicarrier.

Although his loyal secretary Pepper Potts keeps assuring the Iron Man he's much safer in the SHIELD Hellicarrier then he would be at home after Spiral effectively put out a hit on all heroes around the world and Tony Stark was one of the most high profile and well known as well as being one of the most vulnerable heroes on earth especially if he was to be caught without any of his suits around. However with the stories of Namor terrorizing the world, Emma still on the loose and the X-Men losing more and more of their team to the Hand who were working in conjunction with the Illuminati.

Then of course there was the impending culmination of the master plan that Victor Von Doom was no doubt waiting to unleash on the world. All these other terrifying events were just a precursor to the main event. Which only made the Iron Man in him feel completely and utterly helpless while sitting in his cage only being subjected to getting periodically debriefed by the Agent's assigned to him or his lawyers. As Tony continued to pace around his area wondering what evils were going on in the world at the moment.

How long had Sharon been back at SHIELD? It'd been a month exactly, in fact, since the night in her apartment when Nick Fury had called her out of what he considered to be a vacation. She shouldn't have been surprised, really. Nick hadn't accepted Steve quitting either. During her time as a civilian, it had been brought up. Iron Man. Across new stations, across the internet. Everything he did was so very much not Iron Man, so it wasn't a surprise that he was in custody upon her return.

The main doors to the Thunderbolt lock-down and first in walked three fully armed guards. They poised with their weapons, seemed to look around, and nod amongst themselves. Sharon stepped in behind them trying very hard not to roll her eyes because she knew they were only following protocol. That couldn't be denied to them as it was essential for their growth. But that didn't mean that there weren't a few things she was more than capable of doing.

With a motion of her hand they stayed by the door as she walked through the common area to the area that held Tony Stark. Shifting what she was carrying around a bit, Sharon freed her hand and and swiped her ID to get into the room, tucking it safely inside her close fitting white SHIELD uniform. The door hissed closed behind her and out of formality she stayed there briefly until it was secured.

"Hello Tony."

She held out a lidded cardboard/styrofoam mesh of a starbucks cup out for him and raised the other one to her own lips for a quick drink. "Coffee? SHIELD accommodations are basic but i'm sure they haven't been letting pepper in to prepare things for you."

Quite a few things were different now but it didn't change the fact that Tony Stark was a friend. He'd been working with SHIELD for years and was friends with St-- Captain America. Whatever personal things had happened between her and the Captain since then, she doubted it would affect Tony much.

While Tony continued to pace around the common area of the Thunderbolts Lock Down it wasn't long after that SHIELD Special Agent Sharon Carter entered the room and greeted The Iron Man. Her voice was a welcomed sound to his ears. As Tony turned his head to see her offer a cup of coffee and made a passing joke about Pepper not being allowed in to come and take care of him. “What can I say, I am roughing it.” Tony joked as he walked towards Sharon and took the coffee offered to him before continuing to say. “I would give you a hug or something but they don't look like they would like that too much.”

Tony then nodded outside of the door to where Sharon left the armed SHIELD Guards “I gotta, admit I am kind of surprised you left the armed guards twisting in the wind and came in here all alone. Didn't you hear?” Tony then paused for dramatic effect before continuing to say. “Yea, I'm dangerous.” Tony added while taking a few steps back from Agent 13 and taking a quick sip from the Styrofoam cup. “Mmm” Tony then made his way over to a seat in the room to sit more comfortably as he looked back at Sharon Carter and asked. “So, What brings you down here?”

Before he gave Sharon much of an opportunity to answer Tony immediately went into a bunch of wild theories he had off the top of his head for the unexpected visit. “Fury need a cure for male pattern baldness? Problems with the Captain? Or did you just miss me that much? No wait, I know let me guess the Mandarin joined the Illuminati and no one can understand a word he's saying? Or even better the big prize you finally caught that white bitch, Emma Frost and she cleared my name so I can finally get out of here and help you guys straighten this whole mess out before it gets anymore out of hand?”

A small chuckle followed after his stupid jokes until a half flaccid smile came over his face and slowly turned into a frown. “But I guess thats just wishful thinking on my part and now I am getting ahead of myself Shar. It is good to see you though, Hope you've been having more fun over these past two months then I have.” Tony concluded with a somber tone in his voice as he took another sip from the cup of coffee before placing it down on a nearby table.

((<3 sorry for the delay hun!))

She followed his gaze over to the guards after offering a hug. She shrugged it off and moved to his end of the table to hug him. "They probably don't like it. But it's not my job to care about that."
Tony was always the slightly dramatic, but that was what what a lot of people liked about him. Even when it came to the fact that he was locked up in a mutant-grade lockdown, for good reason of course, he was still able to be the charismatic and humorous, even if only for his own sake. She was glad to see that he was comfortable enough to relax around her, it wasn't a surprise but there was no telling what Emma Frost would do to him.

She broke out into a laugh when Tony asked what she was doing there and spilled out a bunch of jokes and theories. She definitely wasn't laughing at the bald joke against Fury. But the jokes couldn't last forever, and the seriousness sank into his expression again and hers.

"I forgot that you've been out of it for a little while. I am still classified as Captain America's liason, but we have not worked together for some time." A blatant 'Steve and I broke up' was something she didn't want to directly state because there were many SHIELD agents that weren't aware of the relationship she and the Captain had shared. "I spent a few months living the single civilian life though. Too bad you missed out. Fury called me away from my 'vacation' when Spiral began her #killyourheroes campaign."

Taking a long drink of her own coffee, she leaned back in her chair slightly. "I'm moving in on all of this to try and help you Tony. I want to find Emma Frost. I want to get you out of here. But we have to make sure you're right in the head and we need something to go on. You're the only one that's got some semblance of her mind left when it comes to her."

Domino

It was probably none of her business. Domino was a fairly recently named Agent after all, and did not carry with her the length of service or sufficient abundance of clout needed to go sticking her nose in every little thing. The problem was Domino never let any such ‘protocol’ get in her way before, and despite the new title, the spiffy new uniform and the weighty badge she now carried she wasn’t about to go changing now. She was far too advanced in her years and too set in her ways to start thinking about adapting to rules now.

Besides, this was Tony Stark. He wasn’t the traditional ‘villain’. In fact it was in her opinion a complete anomaly that they were holding him at all. And perhaps this was a red flag to her…maybe that was why she decided to go check it out. Because after all, shouldn’t the wise be wary? Hero one day, villain in lockdown the next? Wasn’t that exactly what happened to her in the New York Police Department?

She had to get a little more information herself. And from what she knew about Tony Stark there were two things he could simply not resist, and she had her tight fitting uniform zipped down just enough to reveal a tantalizing hint of both of them. But to be more accurate he had a soft spot for pretty faces and food. She’d done a little bit of research on him after all (in the form of turning on any number of old news stories of his highly publicized and sordid playboy lifestyle).

And since it was right before dinner time she found it easy enough to volunteer to take the food to him herself. As she drew near to his confines she began to hear him talking with someone and she cocked her head to listen until Sharon spoke again and she smirked. This might be more revealing than she ever hoped.

Ushering herself in with the usual protocol she swept over to a table and set a tray down without acknowledging either of them for the time being. As far as either of them knew she was just a rookie Agent on the standard rookie dirty work assignment. Sharon would of course know better most likely. But Domino wasn’t here to see her.

She glanced up at him as she set his food out with the plastic ware bent over in such an opportune way.

After the brief interactions between them Sharon explaining she didn't care what the guards liked or disliked about them meeting. However as the conversation moved on Sharon explained in no nondescript terms that she and Captain America were no longer mutually exclusive and then added Fury pulled her back into the fold with SHIELD once Spiral began the Killyourheroes Campaign. Tony remained silent as Sharon continued to add she had come in to try and help him deal with what was going on and help find Emma Frost.

“I am sorry to hear that Sharon.” Tony added in reference to her and Captain America no longer being together. “I don't know where things went south with you and Steve but I ill agree he was wrong and an idiot and should have never let someone like you go so easily.” Stark continued to say as he moved the conversation along. “Although, Pepper assures me I am in the safest place possible for my own safety with Spiral's threat. She has this weird theory that I am some kind of big shot and major public figure that would make me a prime target for some of the sycophants following her deranged plans.”

However as Tony and Sharon continued to talk he suddenly fell silent as another SHIELD Agent moved into the room with a tray full of food and made her way over to the table. Placing the tray down and leaning over the table provocatively Tony adverted his gaze back over to Sharon Carter and added. “Oh? Dinner and a show? You are too kind.” Tony then began to speak a little bluntly as Domino entered the conversation and made herself fair game for his jokes. “So should I be reading anything into this? Hero becomes Villain becomes Mercenary for hire becomes a SHIELD Agent.”

Tony then looked down at the tray of food while also making a passing look at her ample cleavage as he continued. “Then me on the other hand. Genius, hero, becomes Villain becomes Mercenary for Emma Frost... Is this a recruiting drive? Admittedly I don't see myself as much of a standing at attention SHIELD Agent but with a little bit of negotiation and persuasion, I wouldn't mind settling for Director.” Tony concluded with a grin as he looked back and forth between the two SHIELD Agents at the table around him.

She smiled and took a drink of her coffee. What happened with her and Steve was complicated. "Thanks Tony. I appreciate that. And Pepper is right. You're safe here and maybe with you out of the limelight a little bit people aren't targeting you."

Sharon leaned back in her chair, looking at the SHIELD agent briefly as she entered, already noticing certain zippers. She'd had her fair share of drawing attention in a SHIELD uniform and out of one. It was clear by her appearance as well as her actions that she wasn't interested in the higher ranked agent at all. She leaned forward and set her tray down and Sharon just turned her blue eyes to the genius hero philanthropist with an arched eyebrow.

But he was on his game enough to know who Domino was, and to comment on it. She was a little impressed with that Tony was so cavalier about it. But that was very much how he was.

"I've heard this Agent here is actually doing fairly well. Outside of volunteering to deliver food when we have people that work for us specifically to do that."

The blonde agent leaned back in her seat again to look at Domino straight-on this time. This was an interesting change of plans but maybe she could be useful. The woman had plenty of experience working for the good and bad sides of things.

It made sense.

"Well what are you looking for then, Agent?"

Say what you want about Neena Thurman, but if you dared to accuse her of being anything remotely akin to a ‘lady’ you might find yourself waking up in the following week. Female yes, occasionally even feminine…but there was nothing particularly ‘ladylike’ about her. She was the one who might sit right smack dab in the midst of a group of unshaven, roughneck, beer swillin’ men, and she would sit there with a cigar clenched in her teeth trash talking with the best of them. She wasn’t particularly shy about her body, nor was she modest about her fairly obvious ploy to use what she had to tip things in her own favor.

Furthermore, she was unapologetic about all of it.

She might be ‘new’ among the SHIELD agents. She was well aware that there were many who outranked her and possibly felt that they outclassed her in some skill set or another (which was utter folly as far as she was concerned). But she had an acute case of don’t-give-a-shititus. And so when Tony’s eyes feasted on her momentarily, and then when he made a snarky but clearly audible comment out of the side of his mouth Domino only smirked and folded her arms in front of her. “Well that depends,” she said to him. “Are you talking about me, or yourself?” He answered that by drawing a fairly good comparison of his current predicament to him.

Ignoring his ridiculous request to become Director, Domino glanced over at Sharon instead. “Probably the same thing you are,” she said. Did it have a mild edge of accusation? Perhaps… “I mean come on, how often do we get anyone really interesting in here?” It was her turn to look him over, though she doubted he would be too terribly put out by the gesture. “Besides, I had to find out if all of the rumors were true.”

And perhaps she wanted to see what SHIELD did to someone who stepped a little bit out of line. What was the protocol? And why would he do it? He seemed like a principled man. What would drive a man of principle to acts of self-proclaimed villainy? “Are you going with mind-controlled then? I would.”

Sharon quickly attempted to brush over the ending of the relationship with Captain America as well as helping to confirm Pepper Potts assessment that Tony was indeed safer within the confines of the SHIELD Hellicarrier than he would be left to his own devices back at home in New York during these hectic times. “I just feel like I could actually do some good out there and help swing the momentum back in our favor instead of just sitting here having resources wasted on me.” Sharon then commented to Tony once Domino arrived after Tony added in his own two cents.

There was obviously tension between the two SHIELD Agents as the snark was apparent when they two began verbally dueling with each other. Tony attempted to cut the tension but knowing him it wouldn't do much to stop anything between the two SHIELD Agents and only put more heat on himself for the time being.“Ladies, Ladies now lets not fight over little ole Tony, There's plenty of me to go around.” However when Domino came around to the reasoning she decided to come and find Tony Stark today and asked her all important question of what drove him to do what it was he allegedly had done.

Tony only had a quick and simple response for her. “According to my battery of lawyers I am required to say... I plead the fifth.” Tony added with a nod and a smile. Of course his standard defense was that Emma Frost had stolen his mind, body and soul and kept him locked away in some third world country for months on end only calling on him to do hers and Victor Von Doom's bidding and run security details for her during her travel. But Tony was in a sticky situation and with all the problems the Illuminati were causing staying silent without lawyers present was Tony's safest course of action.

“But enough about the poor and unfortunate Mister Tony Stark, I would love to hear a little bit more about the enticing and prosperous Miss Neena Thurman.” Tony continued to add while he reached for the tray that Domino had brought out with her as he grabbed an apple off the tray and took a bit before looking back at the higher ranking SHIELD Agent Sharon Carter and said. “That is of course if we can all be at ease here” Tony concluded with a brief salute and a wink.
