Date: 5/10/14 Time: 11:55 Anthony Edward Stark took fully garbed in his Iron Man suit standing next to his ever faithful secretary Miss Virginia 'Pepper' Potts as the hands on the clock ticked closer to 12:00pm. When the clock struck noon a flurry of fireworks and music would begin playing over central park the home of the 2014 Stark Expo. The Stark Expo Started by Howard Stark following the end of World War 2 was celebrating it's 68 year and was one of Tony's proudest accomplishments. “Are you ready Tony?” Pepper Potts asked. The face plate of the Iron Man suit clicked into place as the eyes glowed. “Ready as I'll ever be Miss Potts.” he responded. This years Stark Expo was different a huge undertaking in the middle of central park an 8 day event of science, amusement, rides and interactive forms of information. The greatest minds from all around the world will come to share and show off their latest wears. Memories will be made, resumes will be passed out from prospective employees to some of business' elite and the good people of New York will get a chance to rub elbows with some of the most powerful people in the world. And for the very first time, It was all free to attend. Stark could charge anything he wanted for tickets to a Stark Expo and people all over the world would still flock in and pay any price he asked. He could sell 1 day passes, 8 day passes, VIP Packages as in previous years and yield millions of dollars in profits. But after the Year of the Illuminati and the memories of the Purifiers devastation on mutant kind. Tony felt this year needed to be different. New York needed this. The people needed this more than he needed a few extra hundred million dollars in ticket sales. And then it happened the clock struck high noon and the fireworks cracked into the sky as Tony Stark put 50 percent thrust capacity into the Iron Man suit and he shot off into the sky to chase the fireworks leaving Pepper Potts standing on the top floor balcony of the Stark Tower to have the papers in her hand fly all over the place in his wake. As Tony flew closer to Central Park dodging the Fireworks as he met a B-Line for center stage to open the ceremonies. As JARVIS locked on his location and he crashed onto the stage landing in a 3 point stance to a roar from the crowd while the music died down and the last of the fireworks were set off and the stage was adorned with its own pyrotechnics and scantly clad Ironettes. Quickly handed a microphone from a worker Tony was ready to address the crowd. “Welcome... Welcome.” Tony said while the roar of the crowd was still deafening. “Thank you, Thank you... You're too kind.” The crowd was finally starting to settle down as Tony was able to speak more freely while his Iron Man suit fell from his body and took the form of a small compact brief case at his feet leaving him in his perfectly tailored suit on stage. “We are all so glad that all of you could come and enjoy the festivities this year. Although before we get started I do have one word of warning, And everyone if you can please it would make my life so much easier but Agent Phil brought Lola to the event this year and we just ask everyone please... Don't touch Lola.” Most in the crowd were confused wondering who Agent Phil was and who Lola was for that matter but Tony didn't leave too much time for them to dwell on that comment. “But we have a great Expo for you this year. Some old faces will be presenting once again as well as some new and interesting up and comers I am very interested in seeing the Chief Executive Officer of Sage Enterprises and her presentation on Nanoscale Microfabrications. I strongly suggest you check it out as well. But we have some old favorites for you too. Obadiah is here again. Doctor Hall, Doctor Richards, Doctor Richards. Doctor Doo-little.” Tony then pulled at his tie. “Man, All these Doctors maybe I should go back and get my PhD.” Tony said to mild applauds and laughs from the crowd. “But maybe science isn't your thing, In that case you can check out the great blooper presentation undoubtedly being held by Justin Hammer again this year. Or enjoy any of our other activities we have a giant Ferris wheel you can see all the way to Pennsylvania on and a bunch of other rides. My favorite being the Whirl and Hurl.” A worked quickly rushed over and whispered something into Tony's ear in the middle of the opening address. “Actually I've just been informed the Whirl and Hurl will not be making an appearance here this year. Apparently we had issues with too many people hurling last year. Anyway we have a lot of things going on check your programs, check your guides, Check out my presentations most of all. Have fun, be friendly and lets make this a Stark Expo to remember!” Tony then gave a kick to his Iron Man Briefcase as it grabbed onto his leg and formed over his body locking him back in the Iron Man suit as he flew off the stage to more pyrotechnics and the music starting up again signaling the start to the 2014 Stark Expo. Posting for the Stark Expo will officially begin on Saturday May 31st. The Stark Expo will be held in Central Park from May 10th – May 18th in game time. So make sure you start finalizing any plot ideas and run them through the proper channels time is running out. The Expo is free to attend and covering the entire 843 acre park. With various different areas including an amusement park similar to that of a traveling county fair with an extra large Ferris wheel.
