Date: 9th June Time: Early Afternoon Getting back to the hellicarrier hadn't been as fast as getting to the school, thankfully they'd only had to go a short way before the quinjet had picked them up, Tommy couldn't quite bring himself to try the route to getting onto the hellicarrier that the other speedsters used to get up there, let alone try that method with a passenger. That was perhaps better, given this was Molly and he'd promised the grand tour - not that he had technically got permission, but it wasn't like they were going to go prodding and poking in the max security areas. "I heard that Cap is on board the Hellicarrier today." Tommy's eyes rolled side ways to look at Molly as he opened his second, or was it his third bar of chocolate since lunch? Either way it was food and it was going in, he would burn the energy off running around later on, it wasn't like he was at any risk of piling on the pounds either. "If you're lucky I'll introduce you." Which was a bit of a stretch given that Tommy himself had yet to actually work with the famed superhero, but then he was allowed to big himself up at least a little bit to people who were practically a younger sister to Tommy. "How about we head up to where they fly this thing then?" There really were so many places that they could go on the tour that Tommy, who could run around the whole thing in a couple of minutes flat and really he was used to all the places now, they didn't hold the same shine to him as they would to his young guest. "Or we could go see the cells, I could leave you there if you like?" His grin widened. "Terr- Miss Cassidy said you have to crash with me if I even give you a small amount of sugar. So perhaps I should leave you there to sleep it off?" But then if there was anyone that could match Tommy ounce for ounce in a sugar eating contest it would probably be Molly, or she would at least attempt to. "Though you'd have to put up with Marko's stink which is a pretty cruel and unusual punishment." Oh he was immature, but that was the only wave length he could really operate on. "So choice is yours kiddo where first?" |

This was kinda quite possibly, potentially the best day ever. And so far, Molly had had a lot of best days ever. They made up for all the bad times and stopped her thinking so much about things like her parents. She knew the truth there better than most everyone thought she did, even her friends back in LA. Oh, she understood why they’d never really told her the full truth, but she had listened when they thought she was napping or doing other stuff. As much as they’d wanted to look after her, she wasn’t a baby. She could deal. Looking up as she tagged along beside Tommy, Molly kept a careful eye on the chocolate bar he held. Just in case he felt like sharing...Cause sharing was nice right? “Wait - he IS?” Molly stopped dead, her eyes growing huge and her mouth falling open in amazement. This was more than she could have hoped for. Seriously. Best. Day. EVER. “Is Cap gonna be up there? Can we put a call out for him up there? Would he sign my hat?” she was wearing her Captain America shield hat, so it was only right if he would sign it for her. If he did, it would mean she’d have to frame it and get a new one...but she could live with that. Grinning, the Princess Powerful bounced up and down on the spot, swinging her arms around. Pulling a face as Tommy threatened to ditch her in a cell, she stopped, tossing her hair over a shoulder and striking a pose. “Pfft, just try it! I’ll totally bust my way out. You know I can!” her face was lit up by a huge grin and she descended into giggles as he told her about the sugar condition. “You live in the cells?” she giggled, twisting what he’d said about what Miss Terry had said. “So. I can’t even have a little bit of whatcha have right now? Cause that’s just mean if you’re gonna eat it all right now and I don’t get a square!” Thinking about her options, well, there wasn’t even anything to think about. “I wanna go to the command center! I’ll get someone to find Captain America. Ohmygosh this is going to be so AWESOME!” bending her knees, she jumped at Tommy, crashing into him and wrapping her slim arms around him and hanging on like a limpet. “C’mooooon lets gooooooo!” |

The way that Molly reacted to the sound of Cap being on deck, was pretty much how Tommy expected Billy to react at every mention of the good captain, it was a good quarter of the reason that he loved working for SHIELD, he got to meet all the cool people and then later got to rub it in Billy's face because he didn't. "Of course he is, this is like the office for him. I guess?" Tommy shrugged nonchalantly just to counter the over excitedness that was spewing from the teen, right now. "But you know he might also be in briefings or something. He's a busy guy y'know?" Which was perhaps his way of trying to prepare Molly for the potential of disappointment, if he wasn't about - it wasn't like Tommy himself had Capdar, or the Cap Signal to be able to summon him whenever he wanted to. "I'm sure if he's about, he'd be glad to sign your hat. Though really you should have got a cap because then Cap would be signing your cap." He paused for a moment before laughing. "Get it? Cap signing your cap?" It really was a terrible, terrible joke. The sort of joke that would see him tossed into the lowest circle of hell for making, but he thought it was funny. "Oh I know you can, that's why I'm not dumping you down there." That and he really didn't want Molly seeing the sort of folks they had in lock up down there. "I'm only a junior agent, I can't afford to be paying the bill for going all, MOLLY SMASH on the prison walls and guards." He grinned knowing full well that his friend really was a hulk but without the green rage monster to turn into, the best of both worlds he guessed, if you were given those sorts of powers. "Hah me live in the cells? Naw, though there was this time that Fury was gonna have me thrown into them, but luckily mom was around to stop him from giving me the stink eye too much." And while he could potentially live on the hellicarrier if he wanted, he much preferred having the option to be able to get out and kick back when he wasn't on shift. "I live in the Flatiron building now, with The Defenders." Now was a good time to bring up his new video game partner, "You'll never guess who I get to play shoot em ups with now. He's way more accurate than I am, but I have the whole speed thing going for me so we make a really good team." The speedster caught the look that the youngster was giving his chocolate - this was one of those situations, ones that defined friendship if you believed what they said on the chocolate adverts. This wasn't a packet of rolos, and Tommy most definitely was not down to his last one, and while that look from other people might garner a reaction that included him stuffing the whole bar into his mouth whole then struggling to eat it for the next ten minutes, this wasn't that. So he broke off half and offered it over to Molly with a grin. "You coulda just asked." Oh the way Molly crashed into him and hung like a limpet. It was hilarious and perhaps a lot of the more up themselves agents would roll their eyes at the friends, but Tommy much preferred being on the immature wave length than having to grow up and get serious. So as Molly hung, Tommy burst forward with a burst of speed and after a matter of seconds they found themselves at the elevator to take them up to the command center. Retrieving his ID from his pocket he swiped the card and the door opened, before he quickly stepped in. "You need to press that one to take us to the command center." Tommy's finger extended to the button that would take them up. |

“I knooooow!” Molly countered as Tommy explained how the Captain was a busy guy. Seriously, if she’d rolled up to the Helicarrier and found him playing some dumb video game or sat watching Judge Judy and eating cheez-its, that would have pretty much ruined her whole life. “But y’know, it’s not like I visit every day! This is totally an event. Billy told you how I took on Doom, right? Captain America probably wants ta meet me so like, I’m cool with that,” tossing her hair over her shoulder, Princess Powerful strutted with her next few steps. “And like, if he needs a sidekick and I get asked, I’m still gonna love you and wanna hang out with you. Don’t feel like we can’t be friends anymore!” Musing on the cap thing, she shrugged. “Well if he does sign it, its not like I’m gonna wear it anymore so I’ll need to get a new one. So then I can get a Cap cap,” rolling her eyes, she jumped sideways into her friend who was more like a big brother to her. In the absence of the other Runaways, Tommy made things better. Sure, he’d never totally replace Chase, but he looked out for her the way Chase had back in LA. And like Chase, he liked to poke fun at her. Narrowing her eyes at him as he backed up about the prison level, she scowled (though she totally wasn’t angry really) and put her hands on her hips. “Oh you got that right! Wait, you live there? Can I stay over? Cause that sounds awesome!” Pausing for a moment as she tried to think of who he played with, she shrugged. Molly kind of had an idea who some of the Defenders were through what she’d heard around the school, but due to the nature of the school she also knew there were more members than you probably saw on news reports and that kinda stuff. “Miss Jac is a Defender, right? Cause that’s why she’s not our gym teacher since we moved back to New York or something, like, that’s what Allie said anyways cause she came and visited Joseph a couple months ago and she saw her. Soo...Uh. I dunno, I think she’d like really shooting things better than a game. Do you play with your Dad?” her face cracked into a massive grin at the thought of it. “And like, if Miss Terry said that then I totally have to come stay over. If you run to the school and get my pyjamas then I’ll give you my allowance,” she promised most solemnly, devouring the chocolate she had been given. Her allowance would totally make up for that, but for a second she almost forgot about it, because as soon as she had finished it and jumped up her friend, he had bolted off. With a loud screaming laugh, the young bruiser clung on with one arm, her other hand keeping her hat on as Tommy raced down the corridor. Even though it was only a few seconds, the trip was still enough to send her giddy. “Ohmygodthatwasawesome!! Do it again!” still laughing, she unsteadily reached out to press the button he motioned to for command. “What’s the food like here?” the question dropped out of the air, as Molly realised she had not asked the most important thing of all. Dinner. |

"Yes Billy told me how you took on Doom and made him your..." The speedster closed his mouth with a grin, yes he was crude, crass and down right vulgar half of the time but Tommy was not going to turn Molly into a mini him. The story of how Molly took on Doom was not quite how the teenager remembered it though, Billy had explained how Doom had made Molly fight an illusion covered Shaw until they both passed out, and if Tommy ever got a shot at Doom then he would teach him a world of pain for hurting the teenager. "I'm sure the national holiday in your honour is currently wrapped up in the bureaucratic process." The speedster quickly added, having no problem encouraging her that she would get rewarded at some point for what she did. In fact Tommy would have to speak to Billy and see if it wasn't against his Sorceror-Supreme-In-Training mojo to use his powers to magic up some kind of reward for her at some point. "Are you prepared to give him your autograph if he asks for it?" Raising both his eyebrows with a grin, as he proposed that the ancient shield bearing hero might actually want Molly's autograph. Though the grin quickly faded and he put on a look of mock hurt as Molly spoke about being Cap's sidekick, but still wanting to be his friend. "You better, because you know I'm a much better hero." Quickly striking a pose. "And I'm much more photogenic." "Oh yeah I've lived there since Mom and Dad got made official Defenders and everything. Wait did I tell you about my dad yet? I can't remember. Anyway he's pretty awesome." He hadn't forgotten the question about whether Molly could stay over or not, and he was pretty sure he could arrange it at some point. There was still plenty of living space that the Defenders hadn't filled given their ranks were still pretty small. "So maybe if you're nice you can stay over sometime." Tommy almost choked when Molly suggested that it was Jac that played video games with him. "I'm pretty sure, she'd rather shoot me with a real gun than play games with me. Especially after the cookies thing." Yeah living with your ex was difficult at the best of times, and Tommy probably didn't make it any easier on himself, but they were dealing with it and they seemed to spend more time away than crashing into each other in the Flatiron in recent months. He didn't really know what they got up to as he wasn't cleared to know, and he was pretty sure he didn't want to know what they all got up to half the time. "But yeah she's a Defender, and no I don't really game with my dad. Mom and Dad seem to spend more time baby sitting me and Bucky who is who I game with. You know Bucky right being the massive Cap America fan and all?" Tommy laughed as Molly said he could go get her jim jams and she'd pay him for it. "We'll see ok? And I'm not gonna go taking your allowance so don't sweat it." Once he came to a stop, Tommy was pretty sure that the ringing in his ears that came from the teenagers screaming laugh would never actually go away, and that he'd probably be rendered tone deaf for the rest of his life for it. "Again? Sure we can do it again in a bit. And the food? Well they let me have as much as I want when I'm in the canteen and it's alright. Better than i can make. But still not the greatest food in the world." Once they were in the elevator Tommy looked over the panel and hit the button for the command deck, and it quickly shot up towards one of the most important levels on the ship. "You ready for this? I don't just let anyone see this area." He grinned and the doors soon pulled back revealing the hub of the ship where various SHIELD agents were over seeing the various systems on the ship and keeping it afloat in the air. "Over there is where the big boss man controls everyone from." Tommy nodded over in the direction of a semi-circular control panel that overlooked all the other agents that worked in this part of the carrier. |

Standing a little taller - which always helped - she smirked. “A true hero doesn’t want a holiday. Just candy. Maybe a new hat. But like, if Captain America wants my autograph, then I guess I can’t disappoint him,” even though Molly was fully aware he was totally teasing her, the prospect did go to her young head, just a little bit. Heck, it wasn’t like many girls her age had even been on the freaking Helicarrier, much less been involved in several superpowered battles. She had aced them all. Well, even though she still kinda fell asleep right after them. One of those times just happened to be on the roof of the Savage Land base, but seeing as Franklin had caught her when she had fallen unconscious through the ceiling, well, that had kinda cancelled it out - now if she had landed on the ground it might have been different. Even then she’d have just left a real big crater, but the embarrassment of it… Twisting around to inspect Tommy, she shrugged a little. “Cap has a cooler costume though,” realising this might cause offence, she shrugged her shoulders. “Like...Yours is cool, but Cap’s is a total classic. Like, literally. You show people a photo, they know who he is! When you’re famous though, people will know you too. I guess.” Maybe she shouldn’t have added ‘I guess’. “Yea, you mentioned him! But I wanna meet him,” her head bounced, figuring that maybe she shouldn’t have brought up Miss Jac, but if Tommy was gonna be a baby about it, well. She was totally never going to grow up at this rate. It sounded way more trouble than it could ever be worth. Playing nice would totally be worth being a Defender. Or, living with them in Tommy’s case. Wow. She hadn’t live with her Mom and Dad since she was eleven and it was hard to ever think about living with a parent figure ever again. Living at Xavier’s didn’t really count. And - Wait. WHAT? “SHUT UP!” Her jaw dropped as she stared at Speed, eyes as wide as they could possibly be. “YOU HANG OUT WITH BUCKY FREAKING BARNES?” her screech could probably be heard all the way over in the Flatiron itself. “Okay, I am totally spending the night! Please? I’ll do the dishes!” Her head was aspin in a sea of giddy delirium, from the trip, the running, this most awesome of news and the potential for a sleepover at one of the most badass sounding superhero pads like, ever. Bouncing down from his back as they got into the elevator, Princess Powerful rose up on the balls of her feet, and down, and up, and down, and up. Even though it was so like something out of Star Trek, it still went too slow for her liking. But then, they were there. Looking around slowly, she looked up at Tommy, her face a picture of teenaged awe. “This. Is. Freaking awesome. Like, this place is Disneyland level.” He pointed out where Fury stood and she spun on her heel, a laugh catching in her breath as she started to get dangerously close to full on hyperventilating. Unable to stop herself, Molly ran forward and struck a pose at the control panels. “Is this how you guys run a Helicarrier? C’mon now! Get your butts going and I can TOTALLY see you playing Candy Crush over there! Yeah you! I SEE YOU!” Spreading her arms wide, she shoved her tongue out at the man who was now trying to hide his slacking off. “Hey, you better delete your browser history, cause I am SO telling. How the heck did you get to level four hundred and seventy eight while working this job anyways?” She bounced on her feet again, before making motions at the man, splaying her fingers and pointing them to her eyes, to him, then back again several times. “I’m watching you. Like, forreal.” |

"Agent Shepherd, what in the hell is going on on my command deck?" a voice echoed above the low buzz of work that filled the air. Down below, from the work floor where he had been called over to look at a small burst of activity in a strategic location that needed to be kept secured, Fury looked up at the commotion caused by a very young girl with a very inflated sense of self. Ah, yes, Molly Hayes. Mutant. Super Strength. Barely out of diapers. Fury climbed the illuminated stair ramp to his platform, giving a tug to the bottom of the black sweater he wore, and he stopped before the young girl, his hands clasping behind his back and he nodded his shaved head. "Princess Powerful," he said, feeling the code name was silly, but then what was this kid, eleven? Twelve? It could have been much much worse knowing kids these days. PonyFriend521 or something. "You come on my command deck, you act like an Agent of Shield, or you act like a superhero, and you leave the disciplining of my people to me. If that's understood, I will allow you the privilege of continuing to remain on my deck. We understand each other?" Her head whipped around and green eyes focused on Tommy, Molly mouthing one word at him: Busted. But, she had faced down scarier foe. Slightly scarier. Giving him a double thumbs up, she grinned, although she was clearly a little embarrassed about having her metaphorical collar felt. “We do!” Blinking, she then remembered her manners and snapped a salute at him. “I was kinda trying to think superhero cause like, if he’d been all up in his candy bomb effects and downtown Manhattan got smoked by a big green monster, well, he’d be real sorry huh.” “Wait. You know my name?” Her attention went back to Tommy and she tried to hide her glee. Oh this was so going on Twitter later. "We usually work with a big green monster, but I get your point," Fury said, with a smirk. He returned her salute and at her obvious delight at his knowing her name, he nodded, and passed by her, giving the indication that she and Speed should join him. "I make it a personal mission to know everyone and everything that has the potential to be a threat or to stop said threat," he explained, "And, you fall under that category. Your history, your abilities, and your genetic status are of particular interest, given the state of the world, which is why Agent Shepherd was granted the permission to bring you onboard. I am hoping that you'll be joining that latter subdivision." He extended a hand to the large table that they used for mission briefings and said, "Take a seat, young lady. You too, Shepherd. Let's have a little chat about the future, shall we?" He tapped his fingers on one particular chair and said, "That's Cap's chair. I don't think he'll mind if you borrow it." Cap’s chair. Fourteen years old and they had given her Cap’s chair. Well, not like literally. But close enough. Hopping up into it, her legs naturally dangled what with the height difference between herself and the Captain. She was due a growth spurt. Everyone was pretty certain it was going to happen, as her body needed to fill out so her muscles could keep up with her. Blinking, she realised Fury was talking about her joining SHIELD. “Oh, like totally. It’s on my consideration list anyway. But right now the X-men need me more. No offence,” waving a hand, she leaned back to get comfortable, but that just pulled her feet even further from the floor, so she shuffled forward just enough, her toes brushing the tiles now. That was better. She felt way more professional now. “But like, I guess if I get a suitable replacement who I can trust to look after things for me over there, I can totally give you guys my time. Would I get a costume?” She was fourteen. Of course, this was important. Nodding seriously, Fury said, "Shield works with the X-Men on a special arrangement, when one side or the other is not being commanded by madmen. Your former headmasters are on a top secret mission for us at this very moment. So our two organizations are not mutually exclusive." Steepling his fingers beneath his chin, he leaned back in his chair and nodded to Speed. "Agent Shepherd, for example, and his mother and uncle, have served on both teams at various times. My main concern is not if you wear an X or an eagle, but how to keep you from wearing a skull or a snake or any other fool patch that might connect you to the type of organization that would like to see us fall." Frowning, he looked out over their heads to the enormous window bay that showed the not so distance skyline of New York, and remembered when there had been other buildings in that view, "This city, my city, has been built and rebuilt time and time again because we all have a big problem getting along. Your people and my people aren't the only ones out there, anymore. We need to find a way for us all to start banding together in a way that mutually benefits us both, which means mutants need to stop terrorizing the civilians, and humans need to stop treating you like monsters. It begins with you, Miss Hayes, and Mr. Shepherd, and the Maximoffs, and the Summerses, and all those boys and girls at that school. But, it's a hard road ahead, one I have been through before, not that long ago when skin color was the only division. Add genetic status on top of that and the mountain we have to climb gets all the more treacherous." “Oh, ugh no, I don’t have time for any of that bad guy stuff, those sorts of guys are total losers,” Molly snorted. But she remembered her parents and the thought did still her for a moment. The girl had spent the majority of her young life under their care, utterly oblivious to their criminal side. They had been doctors, they had helped people. Or, so they did in the daytime. Other times, they had worn freaky costumes and had ruled over LA with malicious intent, along with Chase and Gert and Nico and...well, the other parents. A serious look came over her face. SHIELD knew about that. So she assumed anyway, because after that big fight when they had all run away, SHIELD had been involved and Molly had temporarily gone into foster care. “I ain’t gonna do that. I want to be a hero and save the world and make it okay for people, so they don’t lose their parents, or get beat on cause they look different. Cause, that’s the right thing. Right?” her tone had become rather serious, but she still fidgeted slightly, feeling a little bit like it was a test, but at the same time like Fury wasn’t going to grade her on her answer or anything. It wasn’t a bad feeling though; Molly felt rather proud, like she really was going to be a hero one day. And that was freaking awesome. "That's exactly the right thing," Fury said, "and, that's why, I am going to trust that if you see problems that we need to fix, if you see something that you need me to do, you'll let me know. You'll let Speed know. I need your help, Miss Hayes," he told her, seriously, "and, I trust that when the time comes, you'll know what to do." He stood up and reached into his pocket, pulling out a small round badge, emblazoned with the Shield logo. In the dot between the i and the e was a small button. "Direct comm link to me. This isn't a toy, and it's not for fun. But, it's yours." He handed it to her, and then looked over at Shepherd. "Cap's at the range. Don't take her in, that's not cleared, but if you take her to the door, he might just come out." Nodding his head, he offered Molly his hand, "I'm looking forward to seeing your progress, Princess Powerful. Gives me a little hope for our future." Awed and rapt, Molly gaped, listening and goggling as he spoke to her, then solemnly handed over the badge. The Princess Powerful took it with equal respect, utterly dignified as she bobbed her head and uttered a little “Yessir! Thanks!” Although, under the calm exterior, her internal monologue was getting a little bit more exercise. Oh, I am so totally IN. Like, totally. They better get me a name on a locker and...wait...badge? Did he just give me a freaking BADGE! I need to pee. I totally need to pee. Do they have real bathrooms on here or is it like on planes? Oh my - It has a comm link! And Cap! I seriously get to see Cap!... Can’t breathe...Can’t breathe...Ohmygosh sugar rush...hehehe...badge. I think a tiny pee came out...Goddamnit. Jumping up with an awkward clatter from the chair - thankfully she hadn’t actually peed her pants in Cap’s seat - she drew herself up to her full height and saluted again. “It’ll be my honour, Sir! And I am totally free on weekends if you wanna borrow me for any missions. S’cool. I just need you to sign me a permission slip.” Molly grinned hopefully and proudly pinned the badge to her chest. “And thanks again, Mister Director Fury, Sir!” Returning the girl's salute, Fury looked at Shepherd and said, "See me when the tour is over for a report, Agent. Carry on." Then, as the two left, Fury went over to his control panels, and brought up the feed that the young mutant's newly pinned on badge was broadcasting to his systems. He meant what he had said about the girl. She had a powerful potential and that was concerning to him. Shield's affiliation with the X-Men was shaky at best, and there might come a time when mutants, even the good guys decided that the best solution was to take over the situation. It was always good to keep both eyes open. |

"Every hero wants a national holiday named after them." Tommy countered, that seemed to definitely be a thing that happened in the movies, because he could recount the number of times the teams he had been on had saved the world and there was yet to be any national holidays named in their honour. The difference was the movie heroes were rarely a race of beings that were one day going to drive homosapiens to extinction he guessed, which meant that the human leadership weren't going to be quick to give out honours for their saviours. "Y'know if you're going to be a big badass super hero you should give me your autograph now before you become big and famous." Looking across at the pint sized hero. "For reasons." He then went onto add. "Pfffft. Anyone can put on a flag and be recognisable. That's why he wears a flag." Tommy wasn't all that keen on the overly patriotic costumes that certain Captains, and Union Jack's wore, he much preferred his own simply, green, silver and orange costume. Even if that was basically a rip off of his uncle's costume. "Besides it's not like anyone really sees my uniform when I'm out in the field. Usually it's just a colour blur so I don't need fancy stars and stripes." Which was totally a valid reason for not having an over the top uniform. Molly's reaction to the announcement that he hung out with Bucky Barnes was priceless and he really wish he had recorded it, just to use as leverage against her at a later date. "The dishes huh?" He pondered for a moment, there were still plenty of unused rooms so it wasn't like she couldn't hang for one night. "I'll speak to the school later and make sure they are cool with it, then maybe you can stop over for one night." Oh god this was hilarious and Tommy probably shouldn't be encouraging her to shout at his co-workers but really, this was prime time gold and nothing could get better than that. That was when the dulcet tones of the boss rang out across the command deck and Tommy froze on the spot. Oh god. This was just his luck that Fury would show up when he was goofing off. So far he had managed to do a pretty good job of keeping himself out of trouble, but it seemed that his good track record was about to come to a close. "Sorry sir. It won't happen again sir." The formal speech not natural to Tommy but he was making an effort and this was his career so he had to keep on the right side of the boss. "You won't do it again will you Molly?" Though a slight smirk crept on his face as Molly mouthed busted at him. Thankfully Fury didn't bust his ass anymore than that and in fact he asked them both to sit down to talk about the future which Tommy did as he was told, deciding not to go against the director any more today. Listening quietly for once, Tommy could understand where Fury was coming from, it would have been all too easy for Tommy to have fallen down the same path as his grandfather had, humans were not his most favourite people in the world - especially after they locked him up for no reason other than his powers manifested, it wasn't like it was his fault that the school had gotten blown up in the process either. But he understood the need for people to be brought onto the right side earlier rather than later. Remaining quiet as Fury explained the state of things to Molly and the giving of the badge, he only spoke when he was once again addressed. "Will do sir." Before there was any chance for any more trouble, Tommy quickly guided Molly away from the command deck and back towards the elevator so that they could get to the range. "One day you are going to land me in so much trouble." He grinned, thankfully today was not that day. |

Superstrength/ Invulnerability/ Not Called Bruiser

Still in a state of giddy euphoria as Tommy led her out, Molly waited until they were out of sight and earshot from the Director before she freaked out. Flailing her arms around, she bounced up and down on the balls of her feet in an unsteady circle. “Oh my god this is so freaking cool! Oh god I can’t breathe…” her cheeks turned a bright shade of red and she had to lean against the wall of the corridor, her eyes watering. “Tommy, where’s the bathroom? I really need to pee!” the powerful princess announced, only realising just how loudly she had said the words after the matter. Grinning, she pulled her shoulders up to her ears and gave him what she hoped was a winning grin. “Like, seriously. And if I ever land you in trouble, then we’re totally doing trouble wrong cause the whole point is you don’t get caught!” Those words of wisdom delivered, it was a simple case of being shown the bathroom and granted access. To say that Molly did not take full advantage of exploring even this section of the Helicarrier would be something of a lie. The teenager even checked each and every soap dispenser to see if it was all the same, or there was some kind of anti gamma radiation soap in one of them. Cause, you never knew. Then she spent five minutes at the mirrors, stood up on her tiptoes and twisting this way and that to make sure her hat was on just right and her pin looked perfect. Cause, Cap. She totally had to impress. It was getting kind of warm, so she took her hoodie off and after re-pinning her pin on her ‘I’m not saying I’m Spider-Man, I’m just saying no one has seen me and Spider-Man in a room together’ shirt, gave her hat another twist and took one final superhero pose in the mirror before strutting back out into the corridor to where Speed was waiting, only to realise that she had not actually peed. “Be right back.” At least this time she was right back, having already exhausted all interesting aspects that a restroom could offer. “H’okay I am ready to go to the range. Like, so ready. Does my hat look okay?” she asked, almost skipping to keep up with him. Slowing down, she sniffed her shirt. It was a pass. Just. “You got any more candy?” |
