Daken Consternate ![]() IC Information. Real Name: Akihiro Alias: Daken Affiliation: None Alignment: Neutral, veering towards a more villianous career. The son of the famous Wolverine, Daken has been born and bread to hate his father. In the womb of his mother, Itsu - Wolverine's Japanese wife - Daken held all of his father's genetics, including his infamous claws and healing factor. When Itsu was murdered by the Winter Soldier during her last days of pregnancy - with Winter Soldier hoping to draw out Wolverine - Daken was left inside of his mother's womb: to die. However, Romulus, the mysterious anti-Wolverine, tore Daken from his mother's womb, and took him for his own. Even though the horrific events of his mother's death would've killed any other child: Daken was able to survive due to his healing factor, inherited from his father Wolverine. Finally, being left on the doorstep of a traditional Japanese couple, Daken was to grow up through the Japanese lifestyle, where he received his name "Daken" - japanese for "bastard dog", and where he was constantly teased and bullied by the other childrein in the village of the Japanese village. Eventually, Romulus returned to Daken, after he ended up killing his adopted father, and his mother committing suicide: and in turn took him away to Canada to train where Wolverine had trained, under the exact same tutor. In the end, for his final test, Daken slaughtered the entire camp of trainers and recruits, and displayed his powers of pheremone control aswell as emotions. Romulus, in the end, told Daken of his still alive father: but not without twisting the story of his origins, telling Daken that it was infact Wolverine who slaughtered his mother, afraid of what the child might become - scared of his offspring, due to his powers and past. Ultimatley, Daken confronted his father in Berlin, following him to a bank. Both the clawed creatures engaged ina brutal and bloody fight, with Daken showing much the exact same skill, speed and fighting prowess that Logan had. However, this fight was interupted, causing them to depart. Daken had numerous encounters with Wolverine, aswell as other heroes and villians: until eventually he came under the radar of Norman Osborn, and his new design for the Dark Avengers. Daken was recruited under the guise of 'Wolverine', and wore his father's old gold and bronze costume. He was known to be the most arrogant, aswell as probably the smartest. When Spider-Man (posing as Venom) entered the Avengers Tower, Daken was the only one to actually detect Spider-Man due to the scent that he was giving off. Daken's vicious and somewhat sadistic personality takes him through a series of situations when it comes to fighting or joining with others. He may seem calm, and placid with the team members: but the next moment ruthless and blood-thirsty, killing those for the sake of killing. However, Daken's ruthlessness does not hinder his ability for tactical and stealth like attacks. He is a smart fighter, and knows how to maneuver his enemy on every end - especially with his pheremone control, being able to seemingly teleport, and then with the next thing you know: his claws inside of your skull. OOC Information. Well, my name's JD. I've been in plenty of mutant roleplays: from x-men, to marvel, to dc, to custom mutants, to heroes. I've been regarded on UK as "the best Deadpool" - not trying to brag or anything, just giving you a view of how well I can handle my characters. Daken: I've been him before, though I've never had a good long run with him, so I'd like to actually get some good roleplay done with some good roleplayers and see how it goes.
