Air Trecks can be generalized as "high-end, customizable, motorized inline skates". Air Trecks are different from inline skates: they have motors and air cushions in each wheel, which lets the users do things that are normally impossible with actual inline skates. Originally, they were used in parts wars that caused much injury but the UIPU has banned parts wars and most tricks that do a large amount of harm to opponents. Nowadays, they're mainly used for races. These are the standard forms of contests between Air Trek Riders. F-Class: "Dash" These are F-Class battles wherein Riders race against each other along a set course. E-Class: "Hurdle" These are E-Class battles where the objective is to retrieve the item at the goal, while clearing obstacles such as buildings. Typically the usage of tricks are beneficial in these battles D-Class: "Cube" These are D-Class battles which pits Riders in one-on-one fights inside confined areas. C-Class: "Air" These are C-Class battles where the object is to knock off the opposing team or rider while standing atop poles. B-Class: "Disk" These are battles consisting of 3 set rounds, wherein a disk keeper must try to score points by advancing into the opposing side's goal while the opposing side defends and attempts to capture the disk. A-Class: "Balloon" These are A-Class battles where the objective is to retrieve the emblems from within a balloon. This is a five-on-five team match with each teammate performing a specific role: The "panther" chases the balloon, the "decoy" lures enemies away, the "ultimate" is responsible for fighting and disarming the enemy, the "middle" assists the others and the "keeper" stops enemies before they grab the goal. All this while following the balloon. |
