Animal: Tyrannosuchus
Type: Bipedal Caiman
Relatives: Closest relative is the Black Caiman (Melanosuchus niger)
Length: About 12 feet long
Height: About 5 feet tall (shoulder height)
Weight: About 2.5 tons
Lifespan: 80-120 years
Location: Amazon Rainforest
Fossil Record: Early Pleistocene-Recent
Description: A bipedal caiman who resembles Baryonyx. It's diet mostly consists of fish but it will scavenge kills made by other predators. It's slender and fragile jaw makes animals like manatees, river dolphins, domestic livestock, and humans hard to kill without breaking the jaw bone so they are typically avoided. Like other reptiles, they grow quickly during the first few years and then grow slowly after they reach minimum adult size. Females lay about 20 eggs but only about 5-8 babies survive into adulthood. She lays eggs every 2 or 3 years. The eggs are laid near the Amazon River so the mother can teach the babies how to hunt a few weeks after they are born. While guarding the eggs, the male will bring the female kills scavenged from jaguars, panthers, and other predators so she won't have to leave the nest. Both male and female are protective of the eyes and their young. If something were to harm their young, one of the animals would rush to protect them, this is one of the few times that they will kill anything for the young's safety. Pairs tend to mate for life.
History: Native people have known about the Tyrannosuchus for about 12,000 years. They frequently came in contact with it everytime they fished for food or gathered water. They noted it's skills of hunting for piranhas. When Europeans first came to the Amazon, they heard of a giant lizard-like creature but failed to believe that such a monster exists. Later, Charles Darwin noted of a creature that walked on two legs, had armor and a face like a Crocodiles but most people doubt it. Today, cryptozoologists believe that it is a surviving Dinosaur but in reality it is a bipedal caiman.

Reminds me of the Pristichampsus, a nearly bipedal crocodile from the Eocene.
Also known as JohnFaa, KenBrasai, and by another username you might associate with pterosaurs.
