NAME: Canifelis rosae TYPE: Cryptid->Unknown STATUS: rare POPULATION: 100 LOCATION: Minnesota BIOME: Boreal APPEARENCE: Much of a wolf or hyena, but with cat like eyes, whiskers, tail and front paws, which gives it name Canifelis, Canis means dog and felis means cat. BEHAVIOR: Quite agressive, 60 major injuries, 120 minor injuries, and 35 fatal attacks have been recorded. HISTORY: Always have being a rare cryptid, Canifelis rosae has only been spotted since 1990. In 2004, there were given their own family, Canifelidae, which includes two ofits cousins as well. From far away distances, it is often mistaken for a coyote but many have seen them right at their window and door, which they can scratch into or break apart. The most recent death was in 2007 on Dec. 25. CAPTIVITY: None have been kept due to very big ferocity. |

NAME: Sarchophilosaurus willsoni STATUS: Common POPULATION: 45000 LOCATION: Queensland, Australia BIOME: Temperate Forest APPEARANCE: Short, stout body. Browns tripe on shoulder, protofetahers, fuzz, fur, and short quills cover body. Tasmanian Devil like head. BEHAVIOR: Agressive towards smallre animals, but often cowardly toward humans, but onlymen. Five attacks on men reported, none fatal. But 25 attacks reported on women, 5 fatal. HISTORY: A bizzare species of dinosaur that survived the K-T Extinction, Sarchophilosaurus is rarely seen. It is the Tasmanian Devil of dinosaurs, and has been given its own family, Sarchophilosauridae. CAPTIVITY: 50 kept in captivtity, but hard to keep. |
