NAME: Lepus gigantium.

TYPE: Lagomorph.

STATUS: Critical.

POPULATION: Unkown, but estimated 10-50 individuals remaining.

LOCATION: Europe, main the UK.

BIOME: Open scrub and Grassland and sparse teperate forest."

APPEARENCE: Imagine a 5-6 ft tall, golgen-brown coloured hare. Closely related to the brown hare.

BEHAVIOR: Generally the same as the brown hare, only more tamer. Also appears to understand human speech, although not speak it. it is also onnivourous and has been know to attack chickens and ducks.

HISTORY: Once believed to be a critid animal or just and over sized brown hare, until an individual was shot by a farmer in 1969 after it tried to attack its chicken coop, and DNA samples were taken confirming it as a real animal and a seperate species from the brown hare.

CAPTIVITY: currently no individuals are kept in captivity, due to there being little information of this species.
