Lesser Elephant

The lesser elephant is an extinct elephant that had no tusks and had medium-sized ears. It had short legs and was 3-4 feet tall. The last wild one was killed October 14th 2000, last captive one was put to sleep November 21st 2001.

Interesting. Where was it found? And if it had no tusks, they must have killed them for some other reason, what was that?

It lived in both Asia and Africa. It was killed for it's hide.

It sounds great!! I love elephants!! Is there any other reasons why it was hunted?
