name: prairie dragon type: cryptid>dragon status: vulnerable population: 600000 location: midwestern US, especially kansas and texas biome: boreal forest, grassland, prairie, alpine appearance: can be yellow, gold, brown, grey, orange, albino (white). 20-33 ft long. looks like mountain dragon except with larger horns behavior: eat bison and turns red or dark orange when mating history: the setllers killed almost every one of them when in 1878 every one thought they were gone. then a few years later a guy found a samll group of them living in canada. he bred them in zoos and the dragons multiplied. now they cover midwestern US and are protected in kansas and texas. |

I don't think it'd be possible to domesticate an animal that could put you on fire... Neat animal, though. |
