If my memory serves me right, there should be a Terms and Conditions upon registration. That probably doesn't do any justice though, so, in my eyes, I find that a list of Forum Rules for one to reference off of is highly imperative. Failure to adhere to the rules will result in infractions and bans subject to the staff's decision. Please follow the rules so no one will get butthurt and cause eggpain to this community. 1. Do not spam the forums. Spamming is creating pointless, off-topic messages that have little to no value whatsoever. You can create spam posts only in the forum "herpderp de derpderp", for that forum is specifically assigned to Spam. However, don't just be an idiot. Have value in your posts! Try typing more than one sentence for each of yours posts, for instance. 2. Do not flame or troll other members in this forum. Flaming is personally attacking another member. If you don't agree with someone else's viewpoints, then please constructively and politely accept or discuss about it. Don't outright attack another user's origin, race, sexuality, fetishes, or what-have-you. Trolling, on the other hand, is deliberately insulting something or a member to purposely start a flame war. This is even worse and will not be tolerated. 3. Keep it PG. Profanity is fine. Obviously, racial, hateful profanity isn't, but in general swearing is fine (But I guess it may be looked down upon with what "elegant" diction you have). The biggest thing about this rule is to not post obscene imagery. Anything that's 18+ doesn't belong here. 18+ discussion is also discouraged. I can't imagine any of this occurring, but this is definitely a safety net in the event that happens. 4. Necroposting is only allowed if the content within the post has value pertaining to the topic subject. Necroposting is posting in an extremely old topic, probably somewhere around 3 weeks to a month more. This is a case-by-case basis. Generally, a bad necropost would simply be saying, "Thanks!" or "how do i do thisssss", etc. If you have a question yourself, don't post in the thread again; simply make a new thread about it. While this may not apply to all situations, just use a little common sense and ask yourself if your post has enough value to revive it from the dead. 5. The staff's reason is final. Just because a rule is not listed here does not give the right to create loopholes and bend yourself on the excuse that the rules are only limited to this list. It is the staff's decision for any action to be considered improper conduct, and the staff's decision is, for the most part, final. If there is any event where this decision is questionable, please contact me, and I will handle it myself. Happy foruming! |
