Late UC 105
Olympus Mons Capital City
Minagoroshi Mansion

Standing by one of the great double framed windows of the Minagoroshi Mansion, a tall uniform clad young man with long flowing hair that contained the iconic purple highlighted hue of the ruling family of Mars. The young man was watching the helium trade ships moving across the Martian atmosphere as the moved to the Valles Marineris Space Port, located near the major factory districts of Solis Planum. Mars had grown strong in the years it had been slumbering and today would prove an auspicious day in the years to come. The purple haired man rolled his eyes to the far off horizons of the red planet to a stark steel tower that jut from the distance. This black steel tower which protruded from a large mountain, only known as Malos Mons, was Sakata Minagoroshi's pet project. Occupying the tower was a company he and his father helped to create. The company had started small but quickly, through machinations of Minagoroshi, swelled into a gargantuan technology monopoly eating out the competition. This R&D goliath was the Ares Le Grande Corporation (ALG).

ALG had been re-purposing old Martian tech and using past Zeonic Company arms deals to bolster its own Mobile Suit Research and Production campaigns. Sakata smiled, though it was too early to unveil the true nature and force of the MS line, it was the perfect time unveil the first major project that would contribute to what he envisioned as the new Martian fleet. Reports from the Earth Sphere by the associates of Minagoroshi told of impending catastrophe for the old order. Neo-Zeon and the Earth Federation had begun to splinter, it was only matter of time before they collapsed into warring factions- consuming themselves. The thought of this made Sakata let slip a short and hissed, "Hmph." Caressing the tower with his eyes he nodded and turned to stroll over to his large desk, pressing on an intercom button he contacted the guards keeping watch outside, "You may send Mr. Garstein in now." The voice from the intercom replied with a immediate, "Yes your excellency."

The golden framed dark wood doors creaked open as a tall short haired man stepped in wearing a laboratory suit with the symbols of ALG embroidered on his chest. Sakata sat in his chair and clasped his fingers together before resting them on the desk in front of him. "I trust you bring me good news Ulysses." he said with a cool breathe. Ulysses nodded and grinned. "The Black Olympus project is complete. The warship is now 100% capable." Sakata nodded gesturing for Ulysses to continue, he complied. "We had initially used old Martian Grav-Warp tech from before the Martian Wars, from which we re-purposed it to fit Minovsky technology. Through this we created a M-reactor greater in size and in volume of emitted energy. The Super M-cores were tested out on our long-distance Jupiter and Saturn helium tankers. The Cores proved to reduce significantly the travel time. Once we received the data, we conducted research in producing 4 high-powered M-cores for the Olympus project. I can now say that without a shadow of a doubt the Olympus will reduce times of travel and will be a formidable flagship for our new navy." Sakata glared at Ulysses and then smiled, "So it begins. Thank you Ulysses, remain here if you please." He recalled the guards at his door commanding them to inform the rest of the Minagoroshi family to meet him and Ulysses at Valles Marineris ship dock A23.

With that the two departed and entered an elevator that descended into the underground highways that connected all the great Martian Bio-Domes and Sub-Surface Colonies. Sakata Minagoroshi let slip a quite hiss, "Its all coming together...quite...nicely."

The Ares Le Grande Corporation. Nobody would have expected a general like Yoku to create such a powerful company, but here it was today standing proud beneath the Martian sun. The ALG's headquarters was heavily guarded, but to certain guests and personnel, it was open.

Today some of those very people would be arriving, travelling in a very expensive limo. One of the Martian atmospheric ships, it was unarmed save for a compliment of mobile suits -- but what suits it kept within its metallic confines would be a take for another day. It hovered for a moment in front of the tower before it deployed its landing gears and softly touched down on Martian terrain.

A small hatch on the side opened, followed by a staircase that extended from a small slot below the door that slowly descended to the ground. From within the ship emerged a small group of individuals. Three armed bodyguards with two ladies between them descended the metallic stairs. The guards were dressed similarly, each wearing heavy body armor with considerable ranged weaponry. One of the ladies was dressed in a pilot suit -- red, gold, and was free from a helmet. The other lady was dressed in a very military-esque style uniform; predominantly brown with a gold braided card that wrapped from her left front to her left shoulderblade, and a sort of medal of leadership pinned to her chest.

As the group of five reached the entrance of the tower, the trio of guards stood in a horzontal line, allowing enough space between them to give the ladies room to walk through. The militarily dressed woman was a couple paces faster than her companion, reaching the guards protecting the entrance to the tower.

Suddenly, they stood at attention, saluting and facing straight forward. "Welcome, Queen." They said in a very practiced manner, standing aside and allowing more space for the two to enter. "Welcome back, Miss Minagoroshi."

Once they had entered the building, the purple-haired lady walked up to her pig-tailed companion, positioning herself beside her. "I believe Sataka should be in the bottom-most floor." She began, leading her companion to the VIP elevator, turning her head with a grin. "You can relax a bit, Rose. You don't have to be extra-stiff just because we're seeing your fiance."

As they stepped into the elevator and the metallic doors closed, Rose placed her hands on her hips and looked at the other lady. "Excuse me -- I am not extra stiff just because we're going to see Sataka." She crossed her arms and faced the door. "I need to maintain a specific image since I became the leader of Mars. They won't respect someone who doesn't present themselves in a respectable fashion."

The door clicked and a ding sounded, notifying them that they had just reached their destination. "Of course, Rose. That is exactly as you say it is." Yuko rolled her eyes -- an action relatively uncommon for her given her normally cold personality. As the metallic doors opened, Yuko withdrew a card from a secure pouch on the side of her suit and slid it on the reader beside the metallic doors, revealing the underground highway below and a private hovership beneath.

"So you're finally here, I see." A older man, who still looked to be in his younger 30s stood beside the hovership. He stood with his arms crossed, leaning against the doors to the vehicle. "I thought you'd come here and try to catch Sataka, but he left just moments ago. Let's go." He opened the doors and climbed into the driver's seat.

"Always on the go, Yoku." Rose commented, climbing into the rear seat and allowing Yuko the luxury of the shotgun spot. "Dock A23. Floor it."

Yuko waved a hand toward Rose, a rare smile curling on her face that reflected off the rearview mirror. "So eager to see your Fiance, aren't you?"

"Shove it." Rose responded, expecting a comment like that.

Yoku couldn't help but chime in, commenting on the banter. "Now Rose, just relax a bit. You too, Yuko; it's strange seeing you actually... friendly with someone else."

With that, the rest of their trip was relatively quiet until they reached the specified hangar in the Valles Marineris Space Port where Sataka would have quite a surprise waiting for all of them.

Valles Marineris Space Port
Dock A23

Seated inside a hanging observation balcony in Dock A23, Sakata was flipping through data of a report he had commissioned on the Jupiter sphere. The raw data and words of the report flickered on the monitor that he had swung over from its metal arm that connected it to the chair. Sakata narrowed his vision and judged the report's findings. "Quite the mess." he muttered, "A small collection of renegades, tycoons and bandits...mostly ghosts from a old age of regimes. Heh,a space graveyard for the exiled." Dr. Garstien who remained standing was watching the workers pass by over the large black frame of an enormous ship. The men beside it looked minuscule. Into the ship new Martian Mobile Suits were being loaded, a few many in total. The black ship could hold a large quantity of diverse cargo. Just at that moment the automatic doors hissed open and a blonde haired military dressed woman approached the two.

"Boss, her excellency Rose and your Sister and Father have arrived at the docks." she proclaimed in her usual bright voice. Sakata grinned, "Its commander, Captain Isard, not boss. And good, let them in." Isard saluted and went about her business to fetch the rest of the Minagoroshi clan. Sakata removed the monitor and stood up to approach the window Garstein was at. Sakata in villainous glee watched his project take life with the weapons, Mobile Suits and provisions being loaded aboard. The Black Olympus a ship as great in size and in energy output as the Jupitris inter-planetary freighters and as powerful as one of Zeon's old flagships. It was the crowning jewel and the perfect flagship for his new Martian Combined Fleet. Sakata raised his black gloved hand to point at the bridge of the enormous vessel. "With this flagship, Jupiter and then the Sides will be in our grasp and then finally we shall be an empire in only name no more."

Gartsein nodded and looked to the Black Olympus but, then he turned to another ship being built. It was not as complete as the Black Olympus parts of the ship were still being constructed. "And what of the Valiant?" Garstein replied. Sakata's grin grew into a great smile. "The Valiant shall be my personal ship for when the conquest of the Sides begin. It shall play a different role." At that moment the doors hissed open once more and the Minagoroshi's appeared. Sakata turned about to great his family and fiancée.

Smiling he embraced Rose, "A my love, you look vibrant as usual." he whispered in a cool but welcoming manner. His gaze then turned to his stark sister Yuko and his ageless father Yoku. "Such a pleasure to see you two once more. Father, sister. I have a particular surprise for all of you today. Gaze upon the new flagship of our renewed empire."

Sakata Minagoroshi, Yoku's only son after Yuuma passed away about a year ago. Quite the ambitious man, some might have even found him a bit terrifying to behold. You don't screw with someone who knows exactly what they want and knows precisely what they have to do to get it. Though there was a certain charm in his abilities -- and no Minagoroshi would be one without some sort of charm. He had a sort of villainous and dangerous edge about him, like the sort you'd see from those bishonen baddies in some animes with or without a mask.

That is precisely what led Rose to eventually fall for this man, despite her utter reluctance to ever show it.

As Yoku, Yuko, and Queen arrived on the scene, they proceeded to walk towards Sakata's location. Both father and daughter slowed their paces secretly, allowing Rose to lead on as Sakata made the moves. They could both see a very slight tinge of pink upon her fair cheeks. Had she been just a shade darker it certainly wouldn't have been noticeable at all.

"It's good to see you again, Sakata." Rose responded in turn, hesitatingly returning the embrace. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy the touch -- she was never truly used to anything outside of handshakes. As she broke from the embrace, she crossed her arms and leaned on her right leg, slightly tilting her head down in a fashion she often did to analyze people and her surroundings.

They were clearly in an observational balcony, and it was very likely some sort of fancy ship that Sakata wanted to show them, likely something with technology that hasn't been used yet. She felt Sakata always wanted people to see his achievements in using something new, rather than a rehash of old technology. Regardless, some of Mars' funding did go to the Ares Le Grand corporation and Rose certainly didn't want to be in the dark about everything. She stepped forward towards the thick glass that separated observers from falling to the ground with Yoku and Yuko in tow.

Yoku turned to Sakata, seeing the massive black ship. He placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it a firm pat before placing it back in his hands. "Like father, like son." He mused, giving the floor to the other younger individuals in the room. This was their time afterall, and his place was elsewhere.

"I noticed a few new mobile suits being loaded in." Yuko began, placing a hand on her hip and looking down at the dock workers loading in machines into the ship. "Those are the new models you've been working on, I take it?" While she was an R&D specialist towards Mobile Suits herself, Yuko focused her studies elsewhere and away from what would be classified as Mass Production suits, preferring to create powerful prototypes more than anything else.

Rose took her turn, observing the scene before her. "Aside from the new Mobile Suits, what does this ship have to offer?" She began, standing close to the glass and placing herself closest to the ship than the others. "I'm sure it has some design feature to surprise us, no?"

Sakata gave Yuko an amused smirk. "Indeed. The ALG-09A, Hachiman Warrior, shall be the backbone of our fleet and army. ALG has invested quite a bit in miniature mobile suit design, over the past years this suit has become more agile than those of our partner Neo-Zeon. It will revolutionize warfare in the Sol System." He then turned to point at one of the MS being loaded with its varying components. "Those red and gold ones are for the Silver Fox Vanguard, my dear sister. They shall be yours to play with as is the white ship across from us, the Valiant, they are yours for the upcoming campaign."

Sakata grinned and patted Rose on her shoulder. He then gave both his father and sister sinister looks. "Perceptive as always my dear. Yes. This ship has installed within it 4 Super M-Core Reactors, designed by our very own ALG Scientist Dr. Garstein" he said while gesturing to the doctor. The silver haired scientist bowed and remained silent. "With these reactors our travel time to Jupiter and to the Earth Sphere is nearly halved and with this the Martian Empire...no the Minagoroshi Empire shall expand to all the corners of the Sol System."

He then fell silent and turned to face everyone gathered, "This ship is the Black Olympus and with the Valiant, we shall embark on a new campaign I have devised with the admirals. Jupiter Sphere, and it resources shall be ours and along with it the Helium Lanes that feed the Sides, Zeon, Earth and the Belt. Our stranglehold on lanes shall announce our presence to the system. This is my grand plan, but just the very first step in a series." Sakata finished his speech with slow eye roll to the ships below and the MS being loaded. In his heart he could feel the great expectation, the great opportunity to expand his Nobility, his Cosmo Nobility across the Martian-Jovian Sphere. His ambitions radiated from his aura like a dark tide in the sea.

Yuko looked towards the white ship still under construction. Unlike her brother, she didn't display quite as amused a smirk as he did. Even if these were her creations, she would have quite a different disposition towards those achievements than Sakata. She was a bit of an ice princess -- cold and reserved. It was only to a very select few where she would act quite different. "I see." She noted, shifting her attention away from the black flagship and took a couple paces toward the Valiant. While she preferred to be isolated in her own facility and working on things on her own, she knew the responsibilities she had, and this merely provided an easier means for her to accomplish them. She wasn't particularly fond of her brother. Something about him certainly rubbed her the wrong way. Regardless, Yuko was respectful to those who were competent and able and turned back to Sakata when he addressed the three of them once more.

As shy as Rose was to touching, simple pats didn't particularly bother her. She continued face the Black Olympus, despite being addressed by Sakata. It was a natural act that she subconsciously did to show others that she was the leader and that she was in command. It might have been a little condescending, but it was simply part of her nature. She was amused at the fact that they could cut their travel-time in half. It was certainly something Mars could use militarily and commercially as well. Perhaps when war wasn't breaking out it could improve tradelines and possibly introduce some easier form of tourism to promote Mars' prosperity.

Though as she listened, she knew that a commercial direction wasn't what Sakata was searching for. Ultimately, he wanted power. As much as she loved him, she did love her people much, much more. It was with his words just now that simple confirmed that he wanted to expand his family's influence -- nay, his own influence over the Sol System. Although she admittedly did fall in love with him, she knew it was a strong political move to marry him and include herself in the growing technological monolith that the Ares Le Grand Corporation had begun. She also knew investing the emotional love that she had would also prove to be a hindrance if she ever did try to stop or coerce him into shifting his focus away from his own ambition and for Mars and Mars only.

"Magnificent." She began, complimenting him as she continued to look upon the Black Olympus. "You never fail to disappoint me, Sakata. I believe it's safe to assume that we'll be making a beeline straight for Jupiter once the Valiant is armed and finished?" She shifted her weight to her other leg, uncrossing her arms and placing her right hand on her hip, letting her left hand drop to her side. "With out natural distance and the asteroid belt being a natural barrier, I'm sure those within the Earth Sphere would be hard-pressed to stop us if they caught wind of this."

As for Yoku, he would always have his own agenda, separate from everyone's. He merely stood and observed, taking in all of the information that was presented to him. He may have been considerably older than the rest of them, but his mind was as young as ever. As far as anybody in the room knew, he was fully supporting his son and his ambitions. Though his mind was much more complex than that. Only time would tell whose side he was really on -- but for now the scene would focus itself among these three and their situation. Yoku would speak once more, asking but a simple question. "While you're away on this campaign, who is to manage the mainland's defenses?"

Sakata made a slow turn and focused his gaze at Rose. He knew that his father was just a meticulous and scheming man he was, perhaps it was treacherous to think so but Sakata had a "Special" relationship with his father. Better not let him control too much, he was old and needed to be phased out. "That task will belong to the future Queen of this Empire. As the mother of our daughter and of this planet, I am more than sure Rose will have a good handle on defences and politics. Besides I do not plan to be gone for long." Sakata said with a continued stare at Rose, only moving his eyes later to look at Yoku. Gesturing for his father to come closer and be with his fiancée, Sakata laughed and then continued, "Of course father has always been a smart man and dangerous tactician, so be sure to hear his advice when he has them, heavens know he never runs out of those."

Sakata then fell silent and gave Garstein a look and Garstein nodded. "Family." Sakata announced, "I say we move this gathering back to the estate. There the admirals will have my plans explained and presented properly. Afterwards we can have a banquet before my departure in the coming months. I think we should have a ball with everyone invited, we haven't had one of those for some time."

[OOC: Im running out of ideas xD. We can wrap this up if you want.]

Yoku simply nodded approvingly at his son's response. It was to be expected -- this was his stage afterall. Despite his experience in war and his excellent record, it was no surprise to him that Sakata would want to display his own prowess on the field of combat. It's something Yoku would do, and he did expect his son to take after him. He was well aware that while he did have Sakata's respect, he was also a little caged in what he could do. The capacity that the aged man had and his own natural talents would have made him a much more welcome asset to any project. The more Sakata slowly kept Yoku from holding any true power, the more it merely confirmed his own suspicions.

And he expected no less.

As for Rose, she simply smiled, looking just a little distant with her expression. Perhaps it was because she had never tasted love before and she was utterly enthralled with this man, but she did worry about his departure. As a stark contrast to Yoku, who had nothing but darker thoughts clouding his mind, she had a much purer collection of worried bits hanging about.

"To the mansion then. I'll be heading back to the tower to pick up my ride. I'll see you at the mansion." Rose said, motioning for her soon-to-be father and sister to follow her. "Come along Yuko, Yoku. Let us be off. I'm sure Sakata has a few things he'd like to take care of in the meantime."
