"Mmmmmm...! No matter how many times I see it, the Earth is amazing!" Yuzuru Tendouji said out loud to no one in particular while stretching towards the sky and walking up the main road cutting through the Earth Commonwealth's Oceania base of operations. "The smell of the sea, the fresh air, the warm sun... it's so different from the colony!" It wasn't that Yuzuru was only just now taking in the world. The Tendouji twins had been on Earth for years now, working through the Earth Commonwealth's officer program in order to reach the ranks of the mobile suit pilots that they--Yuzuru, mostly--adored. The only difference between then and now was that today, they had been given new uniforms to wear. It didn't change their interaction with the Earth's natural resources but it did change their perceptions.

For Yuzuru, at least, everything seemed so much more positive and amazing. Being able to stride right up through the base without anyone blinking an eye--except maybe to catch a glance at a piece of stunning beauty--was such a plus compared to being stopped every few feet and asked for rank and number in order to catch a glimpse at the MS hangars. Now instead of figuring out ways to sneak past sentries and hopefully not end up in the brig for tresspassing the rank on the uniform's shoulder allowed free entry into the vehicle bays without a second look. So that was exactly where Yuzuru intended to go.

"Don't you think it's amazing too, sis? Hey, what mobile suit do you think they'll issue us? I hope they have something with good close combat abilities, you know? All that shooting practice is so silly." Okay, so Yuzuru wasn't talking to no one. Yoko, Yuzuru's twin sister, had been on this walk as well. This was their first day as officers, as mobile suit pilots! The blonde-haired sibling felt it was only right to abuse their new rank to check out the base's MS complement up close and personal. That was how Yuzuru liked everything--up close and personal. Which probably explained why the blonde's rifle accuracy scores were some of the lowest on base.

"I'll take what I can get."

As for Yoko...well, she didn't really care. Her ability to adapt to tasks allowed for her to go through training without much trouble, so as far as assignments were concerned, she had no real fighting style preference. Still, she did want to at least see them up close like this, despite maintaining her rather reserved outward appearance, Yoko was curious what life would be like actually in the military now. In short, she was letting Yuzuru act excited for her, while Yoko herself had an image to maintain.

"Seriously though, you're such a little kid, you don't want to get in trouble on your first day, right~?" well, this wouldn't stop Yoko from teasing her twin at the very least. Well, she was also looking out for Yuzuru in her own way, chances are her excitement would lead to something they'd have to clean up later...

"Hmph! As if we could get into trouble just by being here. We're officers, in case you hadn't noticed." Well, still low-ranking ones, and stuck to the ground forces... but still, officers have the right to be here! Yuzuru was more than willing to shoulder all of Yoko's enthusiasm as they walked into the storage hangars to check out the selection. Once stepping into the maintenance area, though... there was a certain level of disappointment. It didn't look like they had received any new mobile suits despite hearing rumors of being shipped off to battle soon. In the storage bays were GM Canards, GM Customs and a few training models of GM Snipers. The typical layout for a training base without exception. Unless the Earth Commonwealth really was so low on units that they intended to ship out their newest batch of pilots with training suits... it looked like they wouldn't be getting anything new here.

"Tch... that's boring. I was hoping we'd at least get our assignments before leaving! Making us wait is so boring!" The wind quickly leaving Yuzuru's sails they kept walking together through the rows of the base's standard mobile suits until Yuzuru caught a pattern of color that stood out from the rest. It was a suit Yuzuru hadn't seen in Australia before, one which as they got closer was not only painted differently but had a totally different layout from the suits around it. "Uwaaaah! What's that!? I've never seen a GM like that one before!" Before Yoko could say anything Yuzuru took off at a sprint and jumped onto the platform to take a pilot to the suit's cockpit, raising it to cockpit level for a better view. "Wow, was this a GM Sniper II? It's totally different! This must belong to an ace or something! Why didn't anyone mention we had someone visiting?" I wonder if it'd be okay to sit in it... no one's using it now, right? Snipers aren't really my thing, but it looks pretty fast compared to our training suits!

"There's more to being an officer than that." Yoko said with a shrug. Unlike Yuzuru, she at least knew how to behave herself. Especially because they were still new...they had no real right to order anyone around just yet when their total combined time in active service was less than a day. Still, that energy was what defined Yuzuru as a whole and as such just let her do as her twin pleased. There was no harm in wanting to actually know what they were going to use, but at the same time they needed to at least look professional while doing so.

"There's no need to rush, does it matter what we pilot-and you're not listening." Yoko didn't even bother finisher her sentence as she watched Yuzuru run off like that, going as far as to bring her palm to her face as her twin climbed up to the cockpit of someone else's mobile suit. It was obvious that it was different, and even worse it was customized rather than a stock model.

"Yuzuru Tendouji, get down there this instant before you make a mess!"

...it was like a mother scolding a child at the super market.

As Joe finished the adjustments on the GM-Sniper he heard two girls talking and popped his head out of the GM Sniper's vent. "Hey there!"

He slid down out of the front vent and down infront of the cockpit, covered from head to toe in oil, and dirt. His coveralls were blue, but looked black, a stained name tag on his right said simply 'JOE'.

"Hmmmm... Are you two the new pilots for these Sniper units?" he looked down to the girl below and then to the one in the cockpit. "Cute! Twins with different hair color." Joe pulled out a small notebook and opened it up, "So you are the Tendouji sisters, I have read your mobile suit reports... Nice."

She had only just arrived hours earlier, having finally left the Dullsville that is Pyongyang HQ with her mobile suit, finding herself sent to the Oceania Base as part of an advanced training programme with similarly new recruits like her. Oceania wasn't much of a front itself but Neo Zeon presense in this region of Earth wasn't something to scoff at either. The first thing she had to do first was report herself to the base commander and find her assigned billet and superior officer before finally heading towards the hangar where her new and spiffy clean Sniper II was berthed for the duration.

What she saw when she finally found her mobile suit berthed in a MS cage not far in the hangar was not pleasing to her. As it was her first very own military issued mobile suit for her to tinker and play at, she was quite understandably very possessive of her own GM Sniper II, and to see other working on it, or even near it like the unknown soot covered man and the female officer who was standing near the cockpit.

"Excuse me, but who are you and what are you doing to my mobile suit?" Gina asked out loud, sounding very obviously irritated before she could stop herself as she approaches them while crossing her arms across her chest.

Joe looked down and froze, "2nd Lt. Gina.." Joe jumped off the cockpit and slid down the leg and landed a few feet from Gina. "CPO. Joseph Fox, Ma'am I was doing the adjustment and changes you requested... I am from Anaheim... You requested someone with a history of working on GM's Ma'am?" Joe stood there as he handed her the invoice, clean the mess from his face with a rag he held in the other hand, and then giving her the proper salute.

"Yuzuru Tendouji, get down there this instant before you make a mess!"

Yuzuru turned, tongue stuck out as a rather childish way of telling Yoko where she could stick her command. They were the same rank and siblings so neither one of them had to listen to the other. "I'm just looking, I'm not going to make a mess! These are combat suits anyway, they're bound to be a little messy!"

Suddenly a head popped out of the GM Sniper II's forward cooling vent. "Hey there!" called the head.

Yuzuru took a step back from the cockpit guiltily like a child who'd just been caught by their parents going into the room of the house they were never supposed to enter. "Um... hello! I was just uh..."

The head pulled itself out of the vents and became a whole body that landed with a clunk on the gangway dripping with fluids of all sorts and who-knows-what sort of hard deposits all over a tattered work uniform. On the man's breast was a patch simply saying "JOE" without a rank insignia or anything else to identify him with. An NCO? Going merely by the stained dress he was one of the maintenance crew but with just a name to go by there wasn't much to be said. At least Yuzuru didn't have to salute him. "Hmmmm... Are you two the new pilots for these Sniper units?"

"Well, sort of, but at the same time..." Yuzuru fibbed, not outright lying--they were new pilots, just not for the sniper units as far as they knew--but also not flat-out telling the truth that they hadn't gotten their assignments yet. Joe didn't seem to pay it any mind, glancing between Yuzuru and Yoko before flasing a big smile that shined past the grime of his uniform.

"Cute! Twins with different hair color." Joe pulled out a small notebook and opened it up, "So you are the Tendouji sisters, I have read your mobile suit reports... Nice."

"Hahahaha... hey sis, he called us cute!" Yuzuru yelled down to Yoko, returning Joe's smile with one just as bright. "Well Joe you're pretty handsome yourself! Say, you said your read our reports. Would you mind letting me see--"

"Excuse me, but who are you and what are you doing to my mobile suit?" called out a loud female voice. Both Yuzuru and Joe froze and turned to see an irritated-looking lady standing next to Yoko with her hands on her hips glaring up at the two people who were trespassing on her property. Joe was the only one of the two who actually recognized her, though.

"2nd Lt. Gina..." he whispered, jumping from the gangway and sliding gracefully down the suit's leg to the hangar deck below so he could speak to her properly. "CPO. Joseph Fox, Ma'am I was doing the adjustment and changes you requested... I am from Anaheim... You requested someone with a history of working on GM's Ma'am?" Yuzuru couldn't see clearly what it was from all the way up there but Joe handed Gina a piece of paper, wiping his face and firing off a crisp salute.

Rather than feel cornered about intruding on someone else's mobile suit, Yuzuru hung over the gangway's railing and yelled down to the people below. "Gina, was it? Is this your mobile suit? I didn't see your name on it, but it looks pretty nice! Not bad for a 2nd Lieutenant! Right, sis?" The last part was entirely to implicate them on trespassing charges together. Like hell Yuzuru was going to burn alone.

Only when Yuzuru addressed Yoko directly...she'd no longer be within visual range. While had been initially standing near the owner of said mobile suit when she showed up to yell at Yuzuru, she disappeared when it was convenient for her. In short, she was still in the hangar, but far enough away to escape any sort of blame as she conducted herself as usual, checking out the other mobile suits present but at the same time not drawing any attention to herself. It was a cruel thing to do, but at the same time it was expected treatment for her twin. It was Yuzuru's mess to deal with, and not anyone else's. She only had one thing on mind while she pretended to be innocent in all this.

'Grandma always said that one should never force the blame on others, lest they face double the repercussions!'

If Gina was surprised to find out that this 'JOE' person had every reason to be near her mobile suit without her when she was away, she didn't show it, save for the brief barely audible "Tsk" that escaped the corner of her lips. After going through the invoice Joe had produced for her inspection, she returned it to him. "Very well then, as you were." Gina said, her voice still laced with irritation though she was smiling at least. "Next time, wait for me before you start working on things; I want to know everything that's being done on my Sniper II no matter what."

She then looks back up the gangway near her mobile suit's cockpit, not having forgotten the unknown girl altogether. She looked down at her, commenting about how nice it was and referring to someone she called out to sis. Following her lien of sight, Gina found no one where she assumed was this 'sister' of hers, which confuses her which was evident on her face. "Yes, it's my mobile suit and yes, it is nice. Now do you mind explaining who you are and what you're doing up there?" She asked, wondering if it was just a lame way of getting her distracted from the main issue right now.

Joe nodded still saluting Gina and then watched her climb up the gangway towards the GM Sniper cockpit. Gina then started talking to the girl inside and pointed past Joe who was standing on the ground. He mummbled to himself, "Oh boy... gotta think!?!"

He then saw the piece he just removed and replaced laying on his rolling work bench, and walked over to it. As he arrived he noticed the other girl's orange hair, on the other side of the garage, just out of visable range. "Smart." He began to wave to her, and then began to walk over to the two large trailers attached to a big midnight blue big rig. The first trailer looked to be a mobile suit trailer, but with a large cover over it. The second trailer was a large box trailer with the letters 'AER' on it.

"2nd Lt. when you get a chance!" Joe yelled as he lifted a large burnt piece into the air, and began waving it around. "This was from your Sniper, its the bi-lateral processing matrix!!"

Khhh...! Darn you, sis! Yoko had disappeared while everyone's attention was elsewhere, leaving Yuzuru alone to deal with the angry owner of the custom GM Sniper II. Still having the high ground however Yuzuru snapped off a salute--wholly unnecessary since they were the same rank and entirely to be annoying--and answered as formally as possible. "Second Lieutenant Yuzuru Tendouji, 117th Mobile Suit Division, Ma'am! As for what I'm doing... I believe it would be called 'admiring fine art', Ma'am! Your suit's the first non-training unit to show up in our facility since as long as I can remember!"

At least Yuzuru wasn't trying to hop into the cockpit or anything, content with toying with the balance point for the gangway's railing. "So, this is a custom, right? Where'd you get it? Being a 2nd Lieutenant yourself and all and already having a suit like this, it's inspirational! I wonder if they'd let me have one too?"

"Later Chief. I have to take care of something first." Gina shot back almost impatiently to Joe calling out to her about something, which judging from the piece of machinery of some sort he was holding, was probably something about her GM Sniper II. Right now, the one person she needs to keep an eye on was this blonde haired bimbo of a 2nd Lieutenant standing near her mobile suit like she owned it.

Well, truth be told, Gina herself knew she doesn't own it herself; the EC military did. But after coming this far enduring the tough years at the Academy, she has her right to be protective of what she had earned through her blood, sweat and tears. Still, with more tech crews and other pilots coming into the hangar working about, with a group in particular examining her mobile suit, it would be bad form to lose her temper here so she kept it in check and decided to try and humor the same ranked officer to a degree.

"Yes, it's a custom; The brass think I deserve it so that's how I got it, and if you scored well on your training, maybe you will." Gina replied Yuzuru's questions in order, climbing up the gantry to finally be on even ground with her, only to find that she was slightly taller than her, probably by a few inches give or take. "If you're done here, Miss Tendouji, I'd like to work on my mobile suit in peace now and alone."

...she really wasn't that much of a social person to begin with, sadly.

Joe froze as he got the command from Gina then he noticed a team of mechanics heading towards Gina's unit. Joe stood in front of the mechanic team and was nervous, as he looked around he realized everyone around him was a natural, the last time this happened they shunned him, beat him up and pushed him out of his squad. He shook his head, trying to shake the feeling of those memories. He muttered to himself, "I have a right to be here."

He walked over to the team of mechanics and shook hands with Sanlion, "Umm thank you, it was no problem, but the GM Sniper II custom is in my care at the moment..." Joe said pointing at Gina's mobile suit, "Ummm I am under direct orders to not allow anyone else to work on it. Unless I am order otherwise by someone of a higher rank than me." Joe fidgeted, still scared of the large group of people. A red truck with another white sheet covered trailer drove up to Joe's truck, a young man with stubbled on his face opened the door and came out, with a cigarette in his mouth. "Yo! Gear-head, lets get a moving shall we, the trip to South America ain't a short one!" Logan said with a puff of smoke. Joe was upset with his friend and told him with a firm voice, "Petty Officer. Ramirez, I regret to tell you this but we have orders to be here! I expected you to follow them, they were handed down from top brass and right now she is in charge." Joe said to his friend before an evil grin ran across his face, "Or do you want to get demoted again, like what happen when you insulted the Captain."

Joe gestured Logan, Sanlion and his team to follow him over to his rolling work station, as he walked Joe unzipped the top of his coverall. He was wearing a sleeveless EC uniform with his rank on it, his shoulders covered in tattoos. "CPO. Joseph L. Fox", Joe said out loud to unlocking his computer which had a verbal access code, pulled out a keyboard and with inhuman, lightning speed his fingers began typing, "I was running a basic maintenance program on all the units before you arrived and noticed they need some work, mainly those two units... "Joe said pointing at the other two GM mobile suits, his hand still typing. He then pointed over to the large storage trailer to his left, "I brought several parts from a variety of mobile suits they are all on the second trailer marked 'AER'. Please avoid the first trailer with the large white blanket."

He printed out a repair list and began handing it out to Logan, Sanlion and his team, he then noticed everyone was giving him a weird look. Joe nervously laughed, telling Logan to watch Sanlion and his crew. As Joe walked away he thought to himself "They know I am a coordinator.", as he walked over to Gina, she was finishing her talk with the young blonde girl. As Yuzuru continued on her way her eyes caught Joe's and he turned away blushing.

Joe handed Gina a schematics sheet with several red circles, "Sorry Ma'am, earlier when running my maintenance program, I found out that you have been readjusting your shots to the left, over and over again. After the computer program ran, it showed incomplete, it kept getting stuck at the core block relay sub-station monitor. So I climbed in through the exhaust vent, to the core block and found this." Lightly shaking the burnt part, "Your units 'bi-lateral processing matrix' was torn and causing it to burn out."

Lightly biting the inside of his lips, he gathered the strength to break the tension. "Um Gina, is was there a reason why you wanted me to bring a truck full of parts?" He said as he gestured over to a large midnight blue truck with two trailers attached to it. "Umm I mean miss 2nd Lt. Gina." Joe saluted again, nervous and racked with anxiety. Joe tilted his head look at Gina and then move slightly closer, "If you would like Ma'am I could just run diagnostic programs off to the side and give you all the data... You seem like you would rather work alone... Ma'am!"

"Yes, it's a custom; The brass think I deserve it so that's how I got it, and if you scored well on your training, maybe you will," Gina explained as she moved, calling the elevator platform so she herself could head up to the gantry. She couldn't have known it but the comment about scoring well on training making it possible to get a custom unit shot up Yuzuru's hopes. Fortunately that downtrodden feeling didn't last long since Gina walked up trying to be imposing only to find herself shorter than the blonde Tendouji twin who just smiled as if not knowing what the problem was. "If you're done here, Miss Tendouji, I'd like to work on my mobile suit in peace now and alone."

"Sure thing, right away Miss Gina! I was just thinking it was getting a little steamy up here so I'll just leave you and the mobile suit alone~" Yuzuru teased, patting Gina on the shoulder on the way to the elevator and pressing the 'down' button before Gina could do anything about it. Having completely ruined any chance of being able to hang around while they did maintenance on Gina's GM Sniper II Yuzuru wandered off in Yoko's direction... but caught Joe's eye on the way. He'd just been put off by Gina, so Yuzuru felt it was only fair to be nice to him. If he had to deal with that mean lady all the time, he'd need some sort of encouragement! So as their eyes met, Yuzuru gave him a wink and a big smile, waving good-bye and catching up to Yoko.

"That was kind of mean, sis. Walking away like..." Yuzuru suddenly trailed off mid-sentence. Something overheard from the crews at the foot of Gina's sniper while the 2nd Lieutenant was making her way to the cockpit suddenly came back to mind. South America...? Did they say South America? Yuzuru turned back towards the commotion, staring as the repair crews buzzed around like worker bees about the queen. Are we being shipped out...?

Joe came up to san with a hesitant almost frightened face. "Umm thank you, it was no problem, but the GM Sniper II custom is in my care at the moment..." San looked at him with bright smile "Its in good hands with you now. Me and my crew should get to work on geting a diagnostic on these mobile suits."

As he said this a truck, driven by a grizzled looking man came around. He said he was going to south America. Which San hadn't heard anything about it. It wasn't unusual though. It was common for the top brass to always make decisions and have San be the last to know. But Joe didn't seem to like this guy talking about it. He made it seem like the guy was being insubordinate to his superiors. What ever that was about. It didn't effect San or his crew, not yet at least.

After that Joe motioned San and his crew over to his work station, so they did. Joe then took off his overalls and said. "CPO. Joseph L. Fox" Odd for some one higher than a Sergeant to be working on mobile suits. But San had meet a few. They where mainly Gundam experts. At his work station, Joe with impressive speed he pulled something up. "I was running a basic maintenance program on all the units before you arrived and noticed they need some work, mainly those two units..." He then pointed to two GM MS's. Joe then pointed to his left where was a large storage trailer. "I brought several parts from a variety of mobile suits they are all on the second trailer marked 'AER'. Please avoid the first trailer with the large white blanket."

Joe then printed out a repair list and report, and handed a copy to San, his crew and the grizzled man. The exactness the details...
This man was efficient, San liked him allot. At first they all gave a weird look. It was just they never saw some go to such lengths on something he wasn't even suppose to do. But San broke the tension with a smile. He raised his hand and offered it to Joe.

"The name is Sanlion, I'm glad to meet you. I'm vary impressed with this list and report. I'm sure my entire crew is to. Let me introduce you, all of you to my crew. that includes you ladies" He looked at the girl who wondered off. He then waited for her to come back. He then pointed to the Big black guy. He must of been 6,7, and was buff. He had a cold and a bit of a menacing look to him. "His name is Private Denis Roman" The man just store out at every one in a frighting way. "He may seem scary. But he's actually really harmless."

He then pointed to to a cute 5'4 young girl who couldn't been more than 20. She had pail skin and light frickels with short brown hair. She also had a bright smile. Her presence brought a glee to the room. "this is Private Teary Fisher. She can be annoying at times, but her cuteness makes up for it. She blushed a bit and said "He San! don't be so mean." San said with a his eyes closed and a slightly annoyed and slightly bored expression "Yea, yea, yea." She then folded her arms and gave a "HHHMMPH" A man that looked like he was in his mid 20's and of average hight with dark brown and a vary pretty face, gave a smile
"Don't worry guy's, They go at this all the time. There allot like brother and sister. Also the name's Sergeant Vlad Tenmoth" He gave a seductive smile towards the girls "But you Girls can just call me Vlad."

The man next Vlad Hit him on the back side of his head. He was in his late his late 20's and was was a bit rugged and had black spiky hair, wore glasses and also wore a wedding wing. "Please ladies Ignore the buffoon." The women next to him gave a laugh. She was extremely beautiful. She was roughly the same age as the man her hair was a smooth brown that was in a pony tail. She also wore a wedding ring. The man spoke "The name is Corporal Leonard Pierce and the woman next to me is my beautiful wife Corporal Janet Pierce"

Vlad rubbed the back of his head "Damn it, why did you hit me Leo?"
A man in his mid 40's with a full beard, gave out a loud booming laugh. While still laughing "'Because you need to be taught a lesson once in a while." He then quitted down. "The name's Corporal Millard facet. Glad to meet all of yea."
Vlad responded to Millard. "That doesn't mean he should go around hitting people."
A tall man with brown hair and glasses who was probably in his early to mid 20's, Said. "Some times stupid people need to be taught a lesson by violence" Vlad grew vary upset "Hey! what the hell does that mean!" "You know vary well what it means. I'm pretty you're not that stupid." "Grrrrrr."
A calm wise looking asian man with a expressionless face who was probably in his early 30's, With black short hair, came in between the two. "Stop you two, please, don't bicker infront of new people." the man looked at every one with a calm deep look. " The name is Kei Range." The tall man with brown hair said "Sorry about that. The name is Rick Minyard. "

San smiled "Now then, we best get to work. Thanks again for all the help Joe. When you're done there I'd appreciate it if you could help us out if you could. An extra hand is always welcomed. Especially one as skilled as yours" He then looked at the ladies. "You two are welcomed to watch us if you would like. Just be careful."

"Hey, I warned you it'd lead to trouble." Yoko answered with her arms crossed. While she did say she was here to look after Yuzuru, it did not mean she'd be cleaning up her messes all the time. Of course, she didn't scold her twin any more than that, as Yoko caught onto the fact Yuzuru's thoughts trailed off. Their twin sense shined here as she realized something more pressing was on Yuzuru's mind and as such, reached out and put a reassuring hand on the other person's shoulder. Yoko's stern look shifted into a smile, one that mixed her usual teasing nature around her twin along with a bit of concern.

"What's wrong, nervous that we may already be heading out? That's not like the Yuzuru I know." Yoko commented, referring to the fact that mere moments earlier, Yuzuru was already raring to go and get in a mobile suit, even if it belonged to someone else.

Gina finally relaxed when the blonde haired 2nd Lieutenant finally left the gantry and head back down to ground level, but not before patting her on her shoulder as she passed by her while Gina resisted the attempt to twist the hand around her like a professional assassin would. Instead, she sighed almost audibly when she noted how terrible she was acting in front of them considering how this was the sort of high and mighty jerk act that usually made her lose her temper. Some first day on an assignment this turn out to be.

With another sigh, now not wanting to make that sour incident burden her any more, she turned to Joe who came up to her with a data pad containing schematics and what not on her GM Sniper II. “Just call me Gina, Joe. It makes me feel uncomfortable if you have to keep using ‘ma’am’ on me all the time.” She said cordially, taking the data pad and browsed through it, not minding whatever was going on below them as the stream of technical data scrolled down the data pad screen.

“Some ‘new unit’ this turn out to be; can’t believe I still need to work on it more. Guess the boys back at Pyongyang couldn’t much on it after all.” Gina commented with an exasperated sigh at Joe’s findings. “Tell you what, Chief. Help me out as I don’t think I can do this by myself. I’ll get into the cockpit now and start the system up.”

With that, Gina turns to access her mobile suit’s cockpit, keying in the access code to open in. Once she was seated inside, she then booted up the mobile suit’s computer which turns on all the monitors, content with spending the rest of the day with sorting out the still of a mess of a mobile suit in her hand…

Joe Prologue, before arriving at the Oceanic Naval Base
Spoiler: click to toggle

... Back to the Story at hand.
Joe smiled, "Okay Gina, ummm Could you take this and plug it into your units cockpit system processor, so I can make sure your units start up is working fine." Joe said handing Gina a small box the size and weight of a laptop computer, with several slots and opennings. "Gina forgive those guy in Pyongyang they have alot of work and they really don't secure mobile suits for transport." Joe followed Gina up and helped her install the device as she started up her mobile suit, and gave her a thumbs up as he jumped off the GM cockpit and slid down.

As he landed he heard Logan talking to the twins, Joe looked back to Logan and sighed, "Look, they are not going to South America. You can, the Angel Love is docked at the port and ready for you. Plus that part you took... Please just take it back." Joe said pointing to a Spengler-Class Aircraft Carrier that was docked at the port, along with a Trident-Class ship. "Anyways the Anaheim Building in South America is a Mobile Suit R&D lab and testing ground. Plus don't you have that untested GM Custom on that trailer that needs to be looked at by our crew back home."

Joe finally got back to his rolling workstation, and openned the comm. "Okay Gina, everything is looking good so far, I am going to open up the housing frame and ask you move around. okay?"

Four loud clacks freed the GM Sniper Custom from its housing. Joe could hear and see the units new bi-lateral unit working properly. A smile ran across his face, "Okay lets make this a good day."

Who's that lady?

"What's wrong, nervous that we may already be heading out? That's not like the Yuzuru I know," Yoko said, placing her hand on Yuzuru's shoulder.

"Just surprised, I guess? But South America, isn't that a little far from--"

"Look, they are not going to South America!" Joe yelled at San from Gina's GM Sniper, apparently gathering what was going on for himself. Considering he was supposedly a mechanic engrossed in his work it was surprising just how aloof he actually was. San had invited them to stay and watch the work but Yuzuru decided to play it safe this time. Gina, after all, didn't want them around and it was her suit.

"Oh, no, it's okay! We'll just take our leave," Yuzuru said to San with a small bow of the head, then looked up to where Joe was and waved again. "Thanks, Joe~! You're a really nice guy~!" Yuzuru yelled, then grinned and turned back to walk out of the hangar, leaving Gina and her repair crew alone.

San looked at Yuzuru with a bright and cheerful smile.
"Well then, we have allot of work to do. If you girls ever change you're mind. The deck that I operate in will always be open to you."
San then turned around and started to work on one of the GM's. Cueing his team to start working. As this Vlad came to up to him.
"smooth moves Romeo" San gave him a irritated look. "like you're any better." "at least I have the looks." "Pfff" they then continued on there work.

As Joe was halfway through running most of his maintenance programs and algorithms, as started to hear a familiar voice begin to sing. The voice caught everyone's attention, it was a song from Earth's not so distant past.

He looked around frantically until his eyes caught the girl responsible, she was blonde, with blue eyes, and was wearing a white Earth Commonwealth uniform. She was sitting on top of the trailer which was blanketed with a large white cover, as she sang she looked down to Joe smiling.

"Trippy song Sarah, so what are you doing?" Joe asked as he returned to his work with lightning speed.

Sarah stopped singing and gave a pouty face, "I am singing! You should try it you know, not that I have ever heard you sing." She said a she moved next to Joe.

"I don't sing..." Joe looked down a Sarah torso, his hand going right to her lower torso. Sarah screamed, "You pervert!" slapping Joe. Joe stood there unfazed by the whole incident, and sighed. "You're a ghost, you remember that right?!"

Sarah grinned, "Yeah, but they don't know that." Sarah jumped into the air, floated back over to the covered , and began to sing again. A faint smile ran across Joe's face, "Maybe one day too, I will sing like you do, for someone." Joe shook his head, and slapped his cheeks, "Back to work, back to work."

He opened three more windows and began working even faster than before. He looked over as Yuzuru yelled something about being a nice guy, "Hey you two where do you think you're going?" Joe hands finally stopped moving, and he pointed over to the front of his large blue box trailer which sat outside of the garage.

A hiss and a metal pop was heard and two large doors opened up, inside two standard liner cockpit, "I told you before I saw your test results." Joe pulled out his notebook and sat back down and began typing away again, "But I need to run some reflex and motor skill test on you two, before we can began letting you run around in a military grade mobile suit. So each one of you get into one of the test cockpits attached to that trailer. umm please Ma'am... and Ma'am." Joe started to blush lightly. Joe then opened the comm. back to Gina, "I am going to hook you guys up to a virtual shoot range. Except Gina, your mobile suit will be acting it out in real time. Just wanna make sure you guys get all the bugs out, before any real combat."

On that note, Yoko took her leave as well, following after her twin with nothing more than simple waves to the crews that were hard at work on the various mobile suits in the hangar. Either way, while walking beside Yuzuru, the red-head couldn't help but make a rather sly comment. "Seems like you won today, so many guys talked to you in particular~" well, not that Yoko entirely cared about things like this. Though, it was nice to know that the people on base were at least friendly and upbeat despite the war...certainly was different from what she initially imagined.
