Pretty much what it says in the title. Stranger things have happened.

If it matters any, what intrigued me in reading about his 2000 campaign was how his policy platform was almost the same as in 2016. How would things have changed in the years ahead?

1924-type quotas, but obviously different in nature -- not all 'white' but mostly reimposed after TTL's version of 9/11. Probably still quite a bit of civil liberties lost post-2001, but significantly less in later years without newcomer muzzies to radicalize already-present ones. We still invade afghanistan but not Iraq. We also get 3 center-right justices in the SC.

Trump somehow winning on Reform means 1) both more moderation with what DOES pass due to compromises 2) alot of idiocy being vetoed. John Reilly's now-gone site had a good line about a McCain in 2000 TL where the general consensus was the republic had not been badly served, even among various detractors.

No Iraq war, but Saudi Arabia is a possibility.

Why the Saudis? I saw the orlov article you linked, but daddy as POTUS 16 years early or no the links between them and USG will take time to dislodge.
