At the end of World War II, when the USS Missouri was streaming into Tokyo Bay for the surrender ceremony, some diehard fanatics for the Emperor was preparing a last ditch Kamikaze attack on it, with MacArthur and co. aboard? A high official dissuaded them but what if he had failed and the attack had gone on? |
