While these are the main cities of Arcenis and homes to the central populations of each Race, there ARE various other villages scattered around the Realm--they don't have official names, however. Many of the plants and animals in Arcenis have natural phosphorescence and despite the invention of electricity some of the remote villages and cities will utilize the different species to see when it is dark. If you have any questions about what types of technology are allowed/present in Arcenis feel free to ask.

Arcureo - The Floating City

Home of the Unicorns, Arcureo is the name of the entire floating island that they consider to be theirs alone. The exact location of Arcuero is unknown and supposedly hidden by clouds. Quite vast, Arcuero is home to many species of wildlife that can not be found anywhere else in Arcenis, as well as lush vegetation. Home to many hot springs, lakes, rivers and waterfalls; it is said that the large amounts of mist from the water falling off of the floating island is what creates all of its cloud cover. Somewhere on the floating island is the city Arcureo, itself. Here is where nearly all of the Unicorn population resides with the massive palace at its centre.

Eurand - The Sunken Kingdom

Not much is known about Eurand, outside of the ocean. From the few accounts people have gotten from the Mermaids, Eurand is deep on the ocean floor and is quite beautiful and always busy. Functioning like any other city, Eurand is simply under water. It has been said that the enormous Palace was once a temple that had been built on the water.

Lithyrias - The Centre of Arcenis

Lithyrias is the largest city in all of Arcenis. Home to members of every single Race, it is the centre of all commerce, entertainment and research. Despite the sky-scraper sized buildings here, there are still many aspects of nature--such as homes being built around trees and a large river that runs through the city with many foot bridges for traveling over and around it. Unlike many of the smaller villages throughout Arcenis, Lithyrias is almost constantly lit with electric power and carriages and bicycles are common modes of transportation--besides on foot. Stairs wind around and between buildings and park-like recreational areas are plentiful.

Malyron - The Hidden City

Hard to find, Malyron is the home of the Goblins. Once a beautiful area said to have been inhabited by the Unicorns; Goblins have overtaken the once lush forest and turned it into a swamp. A broken-down castle is the secret entrance to this buried city and also home to the Goblin's Royalty. Beneath the Swamp the Goblins have dug various tunnels and caves that link together and open up into a vast underground city. With the swamp overhead it makes Malyron quite dark and damp but the Goblins don't seem to mind, they utilize naturally phosphorescent underground plants as their main sources of light.

Sibatrias - The Quiet City

Home to the Humans who have not moved to Lithyrias, Sibatrias is not too far from the large city itself. Similar to Earth's smaller cities, its population isn't very high any longer as most of its inhabitants have moved to the big city.

Ursana - The Mountain Kingdom

Where the Bird-Faeries live is high in the mountains where it tends to get very cold. Their city is home to great ice formations and glaciers and many of the Faeries seem to enjoy building things out of snow and carving ice sculptures. Everything seems to sparkle here and not only its inhabitants but its visitors claim that the scenery is breathtaking despite its frigid climate. However; the journey to and from Ursana is very dangerous and most don't come or go very often.

Viranthul - The City in the Trees

High in the tree-tops of an ancient, thick forest is the city of Viranthul--home to the Elves' Royalty as well as much of their population that hasn't moved to Lithyrias. Though some of their buildings can be found on the forest floor, most of them are up high in the canopy with walkways between all of the trees. Most of the buildings are circular and wind around the massive tree trunks. From the ground it is almost impossible to see the sprawling city.

Xanosea - The Flower City

Found in the middle of a meadow is Xanosea, the Insect-Faeries' home. The buildings here are not very large as most Insect-Faeries are child-like in size and appearance. They prefer to decorate things with over sized flowers and the air is described as very sweet smelling. Often at night fireflies gather here and are used as the main source of light for the Faeries. Though they are one of the more welcoming Races of Arcenis, the Faeries don't often get visitors as their meadow is surrounded by a dangerous forest.
