We're playing 4e. Now how do we go about this? What sort of setting do we want, within the realms of fantasy? The default "points of light in the dark" setting? A ridiculous Touhou-esque setting? What do we want? As for rulebooks, how complex should we make the game? Should I use a module or whip an adventure from scratch? Do we even want a 4e campaign, actually? |

tanks Is there a whatsitcalled adaptation... that 3e desert-world where everyone is a starving peasant? Edited by Becquerel, Dec 15 2010, 08:14 PM.

Do you mean Dark Sun? That's less "starving peasant" and more "inhabitant of a magically-scarred wasteland full of cannibals". But yes, there is an adaption of it, against all logic. Autumn's gaming group even runs it, and tries to force the gritty feel of Dark Sun on 4e. They're a bit ham-handed about it if I do say so myself. |

I approve of a Touhou-like universe. |

I'd only go along with the Touhou if I could be a grizzled old man. Preferably one who is also a werewolf. I may or may not accept a playable I.M. Meen as a substitute. But seriously, I would be cool with any kind of high fantasy setting. And if it doesn't take itself seriously, more the better. |
